Homes in Albuquerque

House in Columbia, Central Abq/UNM Area
Jimmy house was so beautiful and cozy. Made me and my girls feel like we were back home. I had the greatest experience and the host was great. I will for sure come back here

ABQ HUB of Sawmill District
Home was very comfortable, as described. Living room and bedroom furniture were very comfortable. Liked being close to Old Town and very convenient access to I25 and I40. Good water pressure in the bath/shower. Enough parking in the rear of the house, not a long walk to carry in luggage, plus if needed street parking available. Loved the TV. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Hot Tub, 1bd/1ba, Nob Hill Home, King bed, W/D
Excellent spot close to almost everything. Wonderful hosts. Would definitely consider staying again.

Sandia Sunset Home W/ Mountain View In Albuquerque
Very cute, clean place in a nice area

Placitas Sanctuary
I cannot say enough great things about the Placitas Sanctuary. My dogs and I enjoyed hiking the private trail and public lands every single day (sometimes twice!) during our stay. Placitas is serene and peaceful compared to downtown ABQ. I highly recommend this location for anyone looking for a rental where you actually want to stay and to spend time reading, hiking, soaking in the bath while looking at the stars, etc. This is a very special Airbnb that I hope to return to in the future! We were all sad to leave after 4 nights!

Modern Farmhouse in Uptown ABQ
Cute home in a solid neighborhood. Friendly neighbors and easy access to uptown, freeways and all of Abq.

Private, Cozy Casita- walk to UNM and Nob Hill!
Had a great stay. Location is awesome, and is within 15 minute walk or less to many restaurants and coffee shops.

Casa Los Lugones
This place was wonderful. Very private and cozy, for such a large spacious area, also very clean. We let Bonita know before hand we were coming to celebrate an anniversary, and there was a "Happy Anniversary " sign and handwritten card upon arrival with a few flowers. The extra touches to go above and beyond were really special. Fancy folded towels with the note on the bed. Stamped toilet paper. Everything was super clean and the place was honestly so nice. Whoever you have do the cleaning does a really great job. Inside was great, outside was great, the bar area was extra cute and fun. Everything matched the photos. Host was super nice and responsive, everything went really well. The peace of mind on having a gated area to leave the car was also such a great plus. Would not hesitate to book here again, would highly highly recommend. Only regret is that we only stayed for the one night!

Oasis in the City- Peaceful, safe, near everything
Great place! Spotless and beautiful grounds. Thoroughly enjoyed staying here! Will book again!!

Solar Cottage On The Rio Grande
Loved the location. Trails, restaurant and nice bookstore nearby. I'd recommend the breakfast sandwiches and turkish coffee at Satellite Coffee also.

Sara's Casita on Summer. Amazing location!
We enjoyed our stay at Sara's place very much. It was clean and had everything we could want. We love to cook our own breakfast, and she had all the kitchen supplies for that and more. We asked to book a day early as our schedule changed by a day as we were vacationing all around New Mexico. Sara was quick to accept it. That was a relief not to have to find a place last minute. The weather was a little out of the ordinary as it snowed a little the day we arrived and it had been in the high 70's the day before. There was a space heater and also two air conditioners and during our stay we ended up using both. It was a great location for seeing everything we wanted in Albuquerque.

Casita Canoncito--private suite with kitchenette
Bryan/Olivia created a very welcoming environment, and we're very flexible with our change in plans for our check-in. Every was as described, and I will definitely look for any availability once I visit Albuquerque again.

Private Albuquerque Apartment near Uptown
I had a great time. It was very quiet so that was what I needed

Tiny Dwelling, plus Outdoor shower
My husband and I came in for a country music festival and to spend some time in Santa Fe, which is only an hour drive. We absolutely loved this tiny home, it was perfect for us two! So many restaurants to pick from nearby and loved the suggestions he made for things to do. The place was spotless, trendy, and the outdoor shower was such a fun perk! The blackout blinds were so well thought out, big must for me! The fact there was a washer dryer in the home made it so much easier for our trek back home. The chickens and garden in the back made it feel like a home away from home for us!

Luxury Modern Getaway
Great place! Can't say enough good things about it! We opted for airbnb because it was about half the price of 2 hotel rooms and it offered 2 rooms with king size beds and 2 full bathrooms. The house was very clean and well set up! It was very comfortable and met all our expectations and needs. The neighborhood was conveniently located and very quiet. There was construction but it wasn't loud and we were still able to easily get to the house. Miles of walking trails within feet of the house. It really had everything we needed. It was clear thought was put into the set up. Offering extra blankets, games, toiletries, ideas for activites in the area, and even a porch swing! When we come back, if available, this will be our first choice! Highly recommend!

Cloudview charming 2 bedrooms townhouse.
This was a marvelous place to stay. I will most likely stay here again as my son lives in a small apartment in Albuquerque. Bo and Hannah were great hosts and always responsive. I would totally recommend this lovely place.
Vacation rentals with jacuzzis in Albuquerque

Casa De Kokopelli
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Casa de Kokopelli! We were so impressed with how thorough things were thought out. The house manual covered everything anyone would want or need to know about the home, its features, and local recommendations. Brody was extremely thoughtful leaving us a delightful welcome gift and checking in on how we were doing. The hot tub was clean and inviting, however, we didn’t have the chance to use it - maybe next time!

Private hot tub*Arcade* Spacious*No Cleaning Fees!
Billy's place was as described. Very easy instructions for entry and check out. All needed amenities were there and even extras. Accessible to freeway and good location for everywhere we wanted to go. The game room set up was a special enjoyment for my grandsons. Beds very comfortable, decor was eclectic and fun!! We very much enjoyed our stay!

Hot Tub + Pool! Yucca Suite at The Desert Compass
The home and courtyard were beautiful. It's in the center of old town - which is not only governor for seeing the plaza - but is a breathtaking view at night! I highly recommend it!

North Valley Hideaway
Brent & Kat were fantastic hosts and their casita was exactly what I was looking for. Their location feels like it’s a million miles away from the city despite being in Albuquerque. Everything was easy to use, and I was seranaded each night by coyotes that were out in the nature park. It was a wonderful stay and I’m already missing it.

Little Burro Abode
Excellent place! Will keep coming back!

Jet tub! in Nob Hill - Cozy Contemporary Casita
This place was exactly what we were looking for. It was clean and comfortable and very quiet. Loved the backyard area. The AC worked great. Bed was comfy. I took a bath each night (bring some epsom salt!). Our hosts were great and let us check in early since our flight landed early. We knew we wanted to stay in Nob Hill because it's central/walkable and close to hiking trails. We loved Little Bear coffee shop, went there a few times. Mata G was great for grab-and-go vegetarian meals. The co-op grocery store is awesome. Walk by the "Spaceship UFO house"! For easy sunset hikes, check out the trails along the foothills at the bottom of the Sandia Mountains. We took the tram up the mountain one morning, that was fun too! Oh the volcano hike was great (search for Volcanoes Day Use Parking on google maps). It took about an hour and 40 mins with lots of stops for photos. We went late morning but it would be amazing at sunset because it's a 360 view. Would def stay here again!

Hot Tub+Fire Pit+Patio VIEWS+Pet Friendly+Hiking!
Lovely place and the surroundings with the view of the mountains, back patio and the place inside did love it! Thank you Amanda!

Pine Cone Inn
We very much enjoyed our stay. The unit is a basement apartment located within 20 minutes of Albuquerque yet in a mountain setting, surrounded by Ponderosa Pines. It's minutes away from the ski resort and crest of the mountain with lots of hiking and biking options as well. The unit is tastefully decorated in a lodge theme with plenty of attention to detail. Brad was a great host and very responsive. We will definitely stay here next time we are in the area.

Your guide to Albuquerque
All About Albuquerque
Albuquerque is one of New Mexico’s cultural hubs, a desert city steeped in the history of its Indigenous peoples and Spanish heritage. This rich heritage is exemplified in its local art and history museums, and through its Pueblo architecture with curved edges and earthen hues. As you wander the 18th-century Old Town, red brick walkways lead you to the Old Town Plaza, where the church of San Felipe de Neri towers above shops selling turquoise jewelry and artwork. You’ll also find cafes and restaurants serving New Mexican staples like chile rellenos, carne adovada, and plenty of green chili-flavored dishes.
Route 66 runs through the center of Albuquerque, dotted with bars and nightlife offerings casting a neon glow on the iconic highway. Just outside the city, the Sandia Foothills provide ample opportunities for hikes, and you may just spot mule deer, rabbits, and the occasional rattlesnake.
To cool off during the summer, you can paddle board along the mighty Rio Grande that runs through the city. Come winter, you’ll find skiing and snowboarding less than an hour away in the Sandia Mountains.
The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Albuquerque
With more than 300 days of sun throughout the year, bright days and blue skies are never in short supply here. The desert climate may imply constant heat, but seasonal weather conditions and temperatures can vary drastically. Albuquerque offers the Downtown Growers’ Market during the summer months, which can reach points of sweltering heat, but frequent afternoon showers — July through October is the rainiest time — help keep things comfortable. Winter conditions see temperatures often plummet to freezing. However, the area is relatively arid during this period, at least in the city. The surrounding mountains get inundated with snow during this time, providing excellent skiing opportunities.
The shoulder seasons in Albuquerque are popular due to mild temperatures for exploring the city and surrounding nature parks. Fall is a particular favorite for vacation rentals partly due to the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta in October. This nine-day event attracts nearly a million visitors and more than 500 hot-air balloon operators from around the world. The celebration includes twilight balloon runs, balloon competitions, chainsaw carving, vendors, street food, and fireworks.
Top things to do in Albuquerque
Petroglyph National Monument
This anthropological site on the edge of town is one of the continent’s largest petroglyph sites, with more than 25,000 basalt etchings dating back to nearly 2,000 B.C. Miles of trail systems cut through the stark and beautiful landscape filled with scrub brush and volcanic rock that is home to several species of lizards and snakes, and fields of wildflowers.
Albuquerque Museum
Located just off Route 66, the Albuquerque Museum focuses on the region’s unique style of art and storied history. Permanent exhibits showcase Indigenous art styles in the form of paintings and hanging sculptures. Photo galleries detail the region’s local history, peoples, and cultures.
La Luz Trail
For a strenuous adventure in the Sandia Mountains, the La Luz Trail is a popular challenge. The path runs less than nine miles with an elevation gain of 3,200 vertical feet. Along the way, you’ll be treated to dramatic views of the Albuquerque landscape, particularly at the end, where you can grab a bite with a panoramic view at 10,300 feet above sea level before taking a tram down the mountain.
