Bill and Flavia were wonderful. Extremely conscientious with their communication. They provided very clear instructions and responded quickly when needed. Super friendly and the property is very cozy. Would definitely stay there again!

Perfect stay! Very tasteful and comfortable. Beautiful setting in the hills, mid century architecture and decor. Roomy, peaceful indoor/outdoor space. Nice bed and linens, shower pressure. Lots of windows for light and shades for dark and was cool on a very hot day. The kitchen is equipped for simple food prep so good to plan accordingly. I heard occasional activity from the hosts living on the floor above the flat but it wasn’t disruptive. As noted, you may hear coyotes howl, which I considered a treat. Hiking trails minutes away was a draw for me and proximity to urban conveniences. Experienced, thoughtful and courteous hosts made everything easy and enjoyable.

If you have a chance to book one of Jenny's properties, I would encourage you to do so. Of all the hosts we have encountered, she is the best. The suite was spotless and thoughtfully appointed with everything someone could want during their stay. The grounds of her home were just beautiful, a welcomed retreat from the outside world. In addition, Jenny was an incredibly resposive host. She provided great recommendation and suggestions for our visit. She was also incredibly kind to my daughter. Thank you Jenny for your warmth in welcoming is to your home.

We had a fantastic time at this beautiful guest home. The space was spotless, well-stocked, and incredibly comfortable, especially the beds! The full kitchen made meals easy, and the private yard was a real bonus with lovely patio furniture, a gorgeous garden, and even fruit trees like lemon and kiwi. It felt peaceful and relaxing throughout. The host was very responsive and made everything smooth from start to finish. Highly recommend and would absolutely stay again!

Very comfortable. Was nice to have EV charging and dishwasher but refrigerator does not have freezer. Josh was great host.

Karen and Mike were awesome hosts! We loved staying there and it was an easy walk to the grocery and bart. Felt secure, clean and comfortable.

My nice positive review mimics most of the others. Its as described and exactly what I needed. Clean quiet comfortable very safe etc I needed to be able to sleep in the day which seems to be close to impossible even at a nice hotel. I also wanted to be able to sit in the yard and read and play guitar all alone in a forest setting which I did . The yard is also very tranquil much like being in a forest all alone. I had one brief very pleasant discussion with Tracy and that was it I got to be alone. Thank you.

Gina was an amazing host. I got a chance to book her place with my parents. It was their first ever experience with Airbnb, and they really loved it. She was very kind to check in with us at repeated moments, and ensured we have a great time at her place. Highly recommended from my side, and I’d love to re-book if I am in the area again.

My second stay at this location! I contacted Joe ahead of tune due to a later flight to inform him of a late check-in. He was so kind and understanding and fast to respond. It was just as wonderful a stay as last time and my family was so comfortable. Definitely recommend.

A great stay, super quiet and peaceful. An easy walk to hiking trails, and an easy drive to the city with the freeways close by. The bed is comfy and the bathroom is nice. The shower is a little tight but not too bad. Parking spot is right outside the door which makes loading / unloading easy. My dog was comfortable and loved the surroundings. The property is enclosed so she could roam free. If you have a car and want to stay in Oakland without feeling like you’re right in the city, this spot is perfect!

I work out of town a lot, for weeks at a time.. it’s hard for me to find Airbnb‘s that match photos/description, but this place did, its amazing.. I wish I could post a pic of the view from the wall to wall windows in the living room it’s beautiful.. I will definitely rent this place again, when I’m done with work I wanna go “home” and relax.. this place has a lot of natural light a comfy couch, a big TV to just chill out an watch.. it has blackout curtains in the bedroom.. I could go on an on about how amazing this place is.. it’s the perfect place for just you, a couple, or a couple And maybe a small child.. highly recommend it to anybody!!

Sara was such an amazing host. Very responsive and understanding. The home was simple, clean, convenient, and nice. We felt at home. It wasn’t too far from the city and we enjoyed our stay!

Fantastic place. Nestled in beautiful, peaceful forest surroundings, it's a great spot to relax - yet still just a short drive away from Oakland city center, Berkeley, and San Francisco. Inside, the apartment is spacious, functional and well laid out. Great communication and organisation from the Host as well. Overall very highly recommended!

We are just back from a 6-day stay at the Suite on Camden and loved it. The suite has lovely gray and slate blue decor throughout, a super comfy bed, huge closet, beautiful bathroom and a full kitchen with everything you need to cook! The deck and backyard are so spacious and pretty - perfect for enjoying an evening drink and for quick potty breaks for our little dog. The neighborhood was a sweet surprise - quiet (although close to the freeway), beautiful views from the hills, flowers everywhere, very walkable with our pooch and everyone we ran into was so nice. We are spoiled now - can’t imagine staying anywhere else when going to the Bay Area - thanks, Sam and Jessica!

We loved staying at Laura’s place! It was very cute and cozy - the perfect space for the two of us. She supplied all the essentials and more. The backyard was absolutely beautiful, especially when lit up at night. The home was located in a safe neighborhood and within walking distance to many stores and restaurants. Highly recommend this place to stay!

What a great stay with lovely hosts. Shira and Rumen were so welcoming and helpful and the place is beautiful. I loved the location in Berkeley....it was very safe and walkable with lots to do nearby. I highly recommend this as a great place to stay in the area!

Great stay for 8 days at this little garden retreat. Angel was a great on site host and accommodated any of my asks very quickly. The studio was perfect for me as a solo traveler and the gardens were a lovely respite to all the hubbub of my week in the bay. Loved chatting with the chickens in the morning and even got a couple eggs. Perfect for a laid back traveler who wants a little oasis close to Bart. Will definitely stay again and telling all my friends about it! Thank you!

This was our second time staying here, so we were very satisfied the first time. For us the location was convenient and close to our son and grandchildren. Also, well appointed kitchen, and a parking space was provided. Be aware that it is a two level apartment.

My sister and I loved our stay here! It was nice and cozy and felt very private. The hosts’ expectations and instructions were super easy to follow! And the place was super tidy as well. Would definitely come back next time I’m in Berkeley! :)

Only stay here if you love: abundance of nature, respected quiet hours , goofy and sweet dog, and a nice walk up a small hill for a cute market (serving free coffee in the mornings ) !! My partner and I loved our Bamboo staycation so much. and yes , there are sounds that feel above your head in the mornings , from Brownies nails on the floor and humans walking, (Brownie and co started moving around 7 am daily for our 2 week stay) for a short time , we could fall back asleep most days, or used it as an alarm clock. We were cozy, comfortable, and relaxed for our time in Jess’s nature based space! Highly recommend! I’ll miss you Brownie!
