The house is very clean and comfortable. It is convenient to cook in the kitchen. Bill and his family are very considerate in every detail. It is a great pleasure to live in the house. There is a trail behind the house. I like to take a walk there. It is near Safeway and Wholefoods. Shopping and eating out are very convenient.

This was our 3rd stay here and as always it was amazing! Jenny is the most thoughtful host and we can’t wait to be back again soon!

I had an all-around good experience: easy, flexible check-in, friendly interaction, loved having the quiet of a separate cottage. Would happily re-book when next in the Bay Area.

The place is exactly as described. Great location to explore the Bay Area. Host was friendly and helpful, upfront beforehand about possible upstairs noise from early risers (we brought earplugs and it was no problem). Parking was no problem and there were great restaurants and cafes nearby. Would stay again.

We had a great stay! The place was spotless and exactly as described in the listing. Check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow, which made the whole process smooth. Lovely rooms, enough space for all 4 of us. The location is fantastic—close to local shops, restaurants, and public transport. Lei Anna was very helpful and responsive, making sure everything was perfect throughout my stay. Highly recommend!

Gina is a great host! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the AirBnB albeit it was a short one. If we happen to stop by Oakland again, we would book this AirBnB again!

My daughter and I had a fantastic stay! The place was spotless, well-equipped with great amenities, and exactly as described. The garden and backyard truly stand out as it provided such a peaceful and safe atmosphere in a larger city. The host was also very friendly and made everything easy and comfortable. If we ever come back to the Bay Area, we will definitely stay again! ☺️

I'm new to Air B&B stays but have to sayJoe's place is super nice, comfortable, lovely surroundings and I would definitely re-book should I return to the area again. I recommend it for sure. You can relax knowing you'll be staying in a really nice place and in good hands with the super nice hosts Joe and his wife. They are very responsive if you have any questions or need anything. Thank you both for making my first experience a positive one.

Braelyn's place is very nice. Bathroom lighting is great and shower/tile are very pretty. Although when you are outside you can hear the freeway noise, when you are inside the unit is very quiet. Window coverings that block out early morning light are very effective. On-street parking is plentiful and the exterior motion-sensor lights along the sidewalk to the back patio/Airbnb door is quite bright. The patio is lovely and has an orange and a lemon tree; Braelyn shared some delicious oranges.

David’s place was great and the view was amazing. David is very communicative and answered any question I had in a timely manner. I would definitely stay here again.

I had a lovely stay! This was my first time splurging on a place of my own in lieu of couch surfing, and the space was equally private and accessible with the just-right, eco-conscious amenities. Some of my plans while in town went a little sideways and I was grateful to return to the peaceful and simple studio to collect myself, particularly enjoying my quiet afternoon in the courtyard with tea and books. The location is proximal to many of the main arteries around town, so adventuring in any direction is a breeze. Laura was very friendly, readily available, and respectful of my privacy; I look forward to my return visits!

I needed a calm, peaceful environment to return to once I finished work every day. This property gave me just that. Alice and Jordan were thoughtful and responsive, providing an assortment of teas, coffees and refreshments. The space was decorated beautifully and I had everything I needed for a weeklong stay. I hope to stay again when I return to the area this summer.

This place was perfect for me. Nice and quiet, great bed, got excellent nights rest. Inside was super clean better than a hotel. The private entrance was a plus for me since I was up early.

This unit is new, large and comfortable. Quiet even though it’s on a main street since it’s at the back of the property. Great location if you want to run on the Lafayette-Moraga Trail. Easy access to Lafayette’s bars and restaurants too. Masha made sure there was terrific ground coffee in the unit for us. Made every morning a pleasure. Will definitely be back.

Tidy place with plenty of room and amenities as described. Plenty of street parking exists but there is also a garage available which was nice. The host is responsive and helpful.

One of the best stays I’ve had on Airbnb. The house was beautiful, spotless, and clearly cared for with love. Everything was exactly as pictured: clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged. The atmosphere was peaceful and welcoming, with little touches that made it feel like home the second I walked in. Would absolutely stay here again. highly recommended!

This was a lovely well thought-out space. I’m a traveling nurse who frequents this area, and I felt right at home! Kitchen bedroom and bathroom are well equipped, and there is a little office nook that is nice and quiet if you’re in need of a workspace. The hostess is responsive and helpful with check-in. Neighborhood is walkable and there are lots of great restaurants and coffee shops up the way on Piedmont. Really everything you could ask for in an Airbnb :) highly recommend this space for a traveling professional or couple

A lovely clean and tidy private place in the Oakland hills was the perfect way to start our trip in America. Great location and included everything we needed.

Our second stay at Fred’s place. Well maintained and squeaky clean. Comfortable bedding. Beautiful large bathroom with heated floor and heated toilet seat. A few minutes drive from Orinda Village with grocery store, shops and restaurants. Extremely responsive host. Hope to return in future.
