As a business traveler who made a stop in The Bay Area to visit my young niece, I appreciated the quiet, private space of the cottage along with the convenience to local eateries, shops, walking paths, and beach front trails. The hosts graciously provided welcoming treats to make me feel at home — and their driveway parking spot eased my mindset related to my rental vehicle. The neighbors were friendly and waved on my in/out passing — and made me feel like I was an old friend. If you are looking for a comfortable and relaxing place to stay in Alameda with full kitchen, office space, and outdoor access/patio, I highly recommend this lovely cottage!

Mike was a friendly and responsive host! We booked this location last minute and it had everything we needed. The loft was perfect and comfortable. Mike had a prepared list of all the great things to visit in Alameda and San Francisco. The location itself was peaceful and felt safe to walk around at night. I would definitely stay here again.

The exterior of the building features a modern design with a mix of red and orange walls. Large windows allow ample natural light into the units, and two balconies are visible on the upper floors. The entrance includes glass doors and landscaped areas with plants.

Loved my stay with Jessica! The description and pictures were a great representation of what the actual space looked and felt like. Jessica was super responsive to all of my needs and very polite. The private, secured parking space was a crucial thing to have to give me peace of mind that my car was safe and secure all day and night. Loved the vibe of the unit too! Very comfortable and homey feeling space that provided everything I needed and more during my stay! Would highly recommend to anyone staying in the Downtown Oakland or broader Bay Area.

Spectacular Huge Corner Loft Unit w/ High Ceilings

We had a great stay here. It was spotless and the place is well cared for. The unit was very spacious, having an additional half bath and the laundry machine was particularly useful. For those who are light and noise sensitive, just be aware that the bedroom shades are not currently blackout and you do hear a little bit a noise through the windows. For us this wasn't an issue because it was raining/overcast during our stay so there weren't many folks out and about (this unit overlooks a dog park and a cute outdoor dining area). Even though the area is still developing, it felt very safe and we loved having Firebrand just around the corner for breakfast. We had some issues with the bed and Nespresso machine during our stay and when we contacted the hosts about it, they were very responsive.

This space was perfect for our company meeting. We had about 35 people in our group and there were plenty of tables and chairs to accommodate everyone. The video conferencing equipment was great for bringing in our remote team who couldn't make the event. Having large white boards available enabled us to split the room up for breakout sessions. The kitchen area was really great for serving and storing food and drinks.

Wonderful loft in Jingletown! Sudha is a great hostess and roommate. Her place is unique, open, and inviting - located only two blocks from Alameda (must see!). The specific area itself is not great, so I recommend having a car or Ubering at night. BART is a 15 minute walk but through a rough area. No laundry in unit, but there’s facilities just one building over in the gated area. No air conditioning, as well, but there was a fan which helped! Sudha is a great person and always a fun conversation — she’s worldly, creative, and always has a positive energy about her. I really enjoyed my stay. She even helped me move out! Many thanks Sudha!

We had a great time. Sara had everything we needed. We loved staying in the area and walked all over. It is close to public transportation and the Emery Go Round got us to and from BART. The bed and bedding were very comfortable and quiet at night with the windows open for the fresh air. There is an area with a yoga mat, roller, and a few other small items to help with a small in-home workout. It was perfect for stretching and pushups to get our blood flowing each morning. My coffee snob partner was very happy with the coffee set up.

Michael’s place was amazing such a beautiful place. My family and I enjoyed this cozy home, it had all we needed and more. Michael was an amazing host in answering quickly whenever we reached out. would definitely stay here again in the future!

The bathroom features a light-colored vanity with a dual sink and a large mirror mounted above it. A white toilet is positioned adjacent to the window, which is partially covered by sheer curtains. Bright red towels hang on a towel bar, adding a pop of color.
