This unique, well equipped, 1 Bed cute little studio (that we love) is detached and fenced off from our main house. It has a separate entrance through a side gate and it's own private rear deck, with a seating and dining area... that overlooks Sausal Creek and Dimond Park. The tall willow that grows along the creek gives the deck the perfect amount of privacy and with the tranquil sound of the creek flowing (not during dry season) you would almost forget you are in an urban city.

This space is downstairs in my centrally located private home, but has its own separate entrance and is not connected to the upstairs. Kathy and Jim's place is enchanting. A unique historical cabin up in the hills, it was whimsical and other-worldly. The lack of parking right by the house was a little difficult --there is street parking nearby but the signs indicate a permit is required. Kathy assured us we didn't need the permit and everything worked just fine for us. Walking in the neighborhood provides a great workout! This place is a special find.

Quincy’s Quarters was the perfect place to stay for a week. The view is magnificent and makes you feel like you’re in the clouds. Barbara is a pro at taking care of her guests. She stocked the house so well, it really felt like a home away from home. It got a little chilly at night, as expected from the Bay Area in winter, but the blankets were so warm and comfy, it was barely noticeable. I also liked that we could use orange cones to mark our spot on the street so parking was never an issue. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who needs a quiet place to stay that’s also a convenient distance from most major cities.

So comfortable, so peaceful, so reasonably priced, perfect accommodations for a rather demanding training I was attending locally. Jacqueline was very attentive. I recommend walking down to the beach and around the lovely neighborhood, taking in all its Victorian and Craftsman architecture, lush landscaping, just marvelous.

I lived staying with Frankie and her wonderful family! I was her tenant for quite awhile and anything that I needed Frankie and her family were there to assist. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet also the people in the neighborhood are very friendly. You are near everything such as restaurants, the Bart and gas stations you are a quick drive from Hayward this place was just a dream I would have definitely been a long term tenant if it weren’t for school. If you are looking at this place to rent trust me rent it! It truly is a gem 💎 Thank you ms Frankie for everything you have done for me I truly am grateful

I had a fantastic stay at Bobo’s place. Bobo’s instructions were clear and easy. The place felt like I had step into a Star Wars movie set. The house had everything set up to make you feel right at home from getting a parking spot in front of the house to having stores down the street.

Very nice ADU in a great part of Oakland. Convenient to main roads and restaurants etc. would stay here again. Stayed for a whole week and felt at home. The place was fully furnished and had convenient amenities like table/desk, places to charge your phone etc. very clean as well.

What a hidden gem-- both the cottage, and Margo! I sought refuge in the cottage while waiting out an unfortunate eviction situation with a neighbor. Little did I know, I was winning a lottery ticket in terms of a place to stay for a while and host. Margo is incredibly thoughtful and kind. My first night when I arrived, I couldn't figure out how to get the heat going (this was definitely user error on my part!) and even though she and her husband were out enjoying dinner together, they rushed back to help (I still feel bad that I interrupted their dinner!). Another night, I ran into Margo while making a quick trip to the coffee shop to grab some coffee beans for the early meeting I had the next morning. The next day, Margo arrived at the cottage with a French press and pound of coffee for me! This brief period of my life has been quite hard, but Margo's thoughtfulness, kindness and generosity are something I'll always hold in my heart and be grateful for.

Luxury 3BR Rockridge Retreat-Walk to everything!

My family of 4 loved this house so much. It's a far cry from the usual airbnb, generic, kit-like house. I don't think the pictures do it justice; it's a home filled with warmth and has clearly been taken care of and loved. It was quite a bit bigger than I was expecting and got incredible light throughout. So many things to highlight: we loved drinking coffee on the front porch and enjoyed afternoons in the sun in the backyard. My kids loved exploring various corners of the spacious garden. The neighborhood is very quiet and the few neighbors we met were really kind. Beds were super comfortable and the kitchen was better equipped than my own. Overall, it's an incredibly beautiful house that I would try to book again for a future trip.

I will definitely come back again. The host contacted me prior to my arrival to see if there was anything in particular she could have on stock for me. attention to little details was certainly appreciated and most welcome.
