Magical! Doris is an incredibly warm and friendly host. She provided me with valuable tips for excursions and has a very natural way to respond to people..Doris also spoiled me with small delicacies from her own production, such as bread, eggs and honey. On Easter Sunday I even got a fresh bread to Osterbraich, which made me very happy♥️ The apartment is enchanting, very lovingly furnished with beautiful details, plus sparkling clean. The garden with the animals is a dream. The view is unique. For me, a wonderful oasis of peace. Here I was able to switch off absolutely. This place and Doris as a host is highly recommended! I booked again in a heartbeat.😀

One of the most charming places we’ve ever stayed, beautiful, historic, welcoming, and spotless. This site is over 700 years old and it feels like being transported back in time. If you are a fan of cookie cutter Holiday Inn type properties, this might not be your cup of tea, but if you are looking to travel to meet people, enjoy history and unique charm this is a beautiful location. Breakfast was amazing and the staff at the inn were all friendly, helpful and engaging!

There is only positive to report about this place. The location is excellent: Right near a tram stop, which makes it very easy, especially for guests without a driver's license, to get to the city center of Stuttgart quickly and comfortably. The room was fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The modern design and exceptional cleanliness were particularly convincing. A small point that was a bit unusual at first is the reception, which is located in the café, but after a short time you can easily find your way around. Overall a great stay, and I will definitely be happy to come back!

We were traveling by bike at short notice and were looking for a good place to stay with a corresponding price-performance ratio. Here we found what we were looking for at Gasthaus Krone. The owners only took over the hotel a few months ago. The kitchen was no longer open in the evening, but thanks to the friendly recommendation to the nearby very good dining restaurant, this was not a disadvantage. In the morning, there was a decent breakfast before the onward journey, which gave us strength for the onward journey into the beautiful Taubertal. So if you are looking for a clean place to stay with friendly hosts, you will find it right here.

Fantastic top floor hotel room with kitchen

The place is great for exploring the area and still having a quiet retreat. Communication was easy and fast, questions were answered very quickly and acted on directly :) There is no table/storage for cooking or eating together, but that was shown in the pictures in advance. All in all, we are satisfied and would be happy to come back.

The location was excellent! Right in the heart of Old Town and near all the beautiful sights to see in Rothenburg ob der Tauber. Our host was very helpful, accommodating and friendly. Check-in was easy and the room was clean and comfortable. We would stay here again!

Amazing location within the city wall. Walkable to everything. Amazing breakfast and a very gracious host. Wish we had more time there!

This is my second Airbnb stay and I am glad to have had this extremely positive experience. The place left nothing to be desired, I had everything I needed. Philippa and her son are great personalities, friendly, accommodating and open-minded without being intrusive. In my case, I must particularly emphasize the flexibility and thank you very much for fulfilling my special requests. Philippa is very eager to support the stay as much as possible and that goes beyond the obvious level. Just perfect! I will definitely be back!

Too bad I couldn't stay longer. I felt very comfortable. I was most looking forward to the kettle at the room That really doesn't have every hotel and I was able to have a relaxing evening in the room, with tea and a hot water bottle, after a long and strenuous business seminar.

What a fantastic stay! We were very kindly received and shown around on arrival. The hotel area is brand new and the rooms and bathrooms are beautiful. The rooms are on the first floor and there is no elevator, but you can drive up the back by car so you don't have to climb the stairs with your luggage. We ate at the restaurant in the evening. The menu is limited but the food is delicious, really prepared with love! The breakfast is fantastic! Everything is homemade and regional as much as possible. Tip: even if you don't eat eggs, open the lid of the basket with boiled eggs: you'll be happy right away! The motto of the hotel is “with love” and they carry that out in everything. Staying here is well worth it!
