We had such a great stay at the Shark Tooth Shanty! The home was decorated so beautifully and uniquely, every little detail added to the charm. Kerrie was very communicative and made everything easy from check-in to check-out. The location was quiet and relaxing, yet just a short drive to downtown Charleston, beaches, and great restaurants. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Karen was very flexible and responsive! Also she had tons of little amenities that were super thoughtful! we could have forgotten everything except clothes and would have been fine with everything she provided. simple and comfortable and definitely plan to make it back at some point!

Joshua was very helpful and responsive with any questions we had about the area. The house was beautiful and a great little spot for a small group of friends or family.

loved the place mainly because of the separated bathtub in the master bathroom, having two sinks in master bathroom, king bed, having a dishwasher and having a washer and dryer. I was not expecting to be near an Amtrak train track. I am very sensitive to noises when trying to fall asleep and am very glad I brought my earplugs. I also use a CPAP when I'm sleeping and the side table of master bedroom was barely large enough to fit it....I had to put the lamp on the floor. overall, fantastic place to stay.

We have stayed all over the Charleston area. This property has the best fully fenced yard we have found so far. Just the right size--not so huge as to be daunting but perfectly sized for your dog to have plenty of room to run around and enjoy it. And it helps that the home itself is very nicely updated. In fact, it was so clean and inviting upon our arrival that it almost looked new. Communication was fast and helpful. We hope to stay again.

Mrs Jeanne was an awesome hostess. If I texted a question, she responded immediately. The house was super clean and perfect for our 8 person group. Even though there was 1 towel and wash cloth per person for 4 days and 3 nights, laundry pods and dryer sheets were provided on the washer and dryer which was so appreciated. I would recommend this house to anyone staying in Charleston. We were 20 minutes from all the attractions we wanted to see. Thank you Mrs Jeanne for being the perfect hostess!! We loved being at the end of the culd de sac. It was so quiet and peaceful and the neighbors were very nice.

Everything I hoped and wished for our stay was like the pictures and details! It was a gorgeous home, the bedrooms were comfy and spacious. The kitchen was massive and so perfect for a big group, the backyard with the pool was so beautiful and like a little oasis! It was the perfect distance to downtown, not too far. Such a good stay, definitely will be back!

Our family of 4 had an amazing time! The property is so peaceful, and you’re only a short walk or drive from the beach and pools. Tyler is amazingly communicative, helpful, and seems to truly want you to have a wonderful experience. Everything is just as it is pictured, including the beach wagon, toys, umbrellas. Our kids are 3 and 7, and they loved watching the wildlife from the deck. We were initially a little worried about the kids navigating the spiral staircase, and when we arrived we found they supply a baby gate that fits all the way around the railing and openings. It really eased our minds. If you like the idea of being submerged in nature by the beach, don’t hesitate to book this rental! We’ll return for sure!

We had an awesome stay at Jayne’s house. The location is terrific and the house is fully stocked with everything you need for a great visit. We enjoyed the pool and pool area every day. She communicated extremely well and had great suggestions on local places to visit and dine. We will definitely return in the future.

My family and I loved our long weekend in Mt Pleasant at Melissa's place! We frequent the area often and this has been our favorite airbnb to date. We 100% will be back! The place feels cozy and right at home. The pool is an added bonus. It was perfectly maintained and the lights at night were great! The location is perfect, quick drive to the beaches and restaurants. You do have to share the backyard/pool area with your neighbor but we had very nice/respectful neighbors in the next door unit. Book it, you won't be disappointed. We didn't want to leave!

The pictures accurately represented her space. We found there was plenty of room for four adults. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans, silverware and dishes, something we find to not always be the case. The location was ideal for visiting the beaches and getting to Charleston. Megan was good at making sure we had all the prearrival information we needed and had recommendations on what to do and where to eat. If we were in the area we would stay here again.

The place had the most thoughtful amenities from sound machines in each bedroom to eye masks and ear plugs. It was so clean and perfect for our quick stay in Charleston.

Regardless of there being issues Luis couldn't control, he still managed to solve it for us in time! Great stay, great host!

We came into town for a family wedding and had a wonderful stay here! The back patio was our favorite part of the house, we enjoyed sitting out there with coffee in the mornings and the location of the house was great as it was halfway between downtown and the wedding venue.

I really enjoyed my stay! The location was perfect and the screen porch with all of the lights was so dreamy! My dogs loved the fenced in yard. For being pet friendly, the unit was spotless when I arrived. The only downside was that since it was attached to Natalie’s house, I was worried they could hear everything I did or if my dogs were being loud I would feel bad! But I really liked having them so close if anything went wrong. Overall great spot and recommend.

We could tell that a great deal of care and attention to detail was put into every part of the house. The extras, like the white noise machine, the washer-dryer, and the odds and ends in the kitchen, really took this place to the next level. We felt incredibly safe and comfortable and would stay here again without hesitation. In a world where so many "rental companies" control the market, this place was a breath of fresh air. Thank you for the nice stay.

This was the perfect rental for our vacation. We love to stay on the surrounding islands when visiting the Charleston area and this listing on John’s Island was perfect. We spent our mornings enjoying coffee in the lovely backyard before venturing out to Folly Beach. It is about a 20-25 minute drive to Folly and downtown Charleston. That was not a problem for us, as we thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet that this beautiful rental offered. We’d be hard pressed to choose another home when visiting Charleston. This has been our favorite home in the area by far.
