Beautiful house! We had a wonderful weekend. The house is just as advertised. We would definitely stay there again. It was very clean and the instructions were very clear. Lots of great amenities!

Check-in and check out instructions were clear and easy to follow, Brandon was quick to respond to any questions I had and the home looked exactly like the photos! It was very peaceful and the neighbors we met while walking our pups were very friendly. We would definitely stay here again. All rooms, linens and common areas were clean and well-kept. Thanks for the stay!

All around an amazing place, great to unwind and just relax near the water, but not too far from town to go do something with the family. Hands down one of the best places I’ve been and will definitely be returning! Btw check out Appalachian Caverns, really an amazing place.

Beautiful home and neighborhood! Very peaceful getaway. Family friendly. Easy to get to Blowing Rock through back of neighborhood. Comfy beds. Melanie is incredibly responsive and went above and beyond! Back deck was covered with leaves and twigs from recent wind and rain - she shipped us a leaf blower same day so we could easily clean it off and enjoy it! We will definitely be back!

A beautiful location, right on the Watauga river. A very peaceful and serene environment. My family and I loved staying here and my 3 yr old son especially loved seeing the geese and playing in the river. The house is older construction, but very charming. It has been updated beautifully for modern day comfort. The host was very accommodating. The hot tub was very clean and very relaxing. We would love to stay here again.

We were overly pleased with our stay! The home is stunning, exactly what I expected! The house looked exactly like the pictures except there are a few new renovations added, like the fridge is updated to a bigger silver one and there is a new washer and dryer! The location is very secluded, which is exactly what we wanted for our getaway trip. Check in was super simple as you don’t even need to “check in” just apply a code given by the host! The hot tub and jets were great with lots of different light choices! The yard is completely fenced so both of our medium sized dogs were able to run around and LOVED it! The deck is large and beautiful! Exactly as described in the description! I would definitely like to book again in the future!

We enjoyed our 2nd time stay for the weekend. The house come equipped with the back essentials we needed. The back porch offers a beautiful view of the lake. the arean is calm and peaceful. Ashley was very responsive to get back with me. we would definitely stay again.

This home is 100% Virgo approved!! It was immaculate and decorated beautifully, very comfy, too! There were gorgeous views from almost every room. Well appointed with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Within a short distance to West Jefferson and Boone, where we had some wonderful meals. This home is a gem!!

The house was outstandingly beautiful! Neighborhood was quiet and exclusive. The porch had a beautiful view. The grill was a nice feature to have. We enjoyed our stay. House was clean. It was nice to have an option to use a canoe. It rained most of our visit so we did not get the chance to take it out. The walk to the lake is not far but it is all uphill on the way back.

Eagles peak was a comfortable place to stay near the Sugar Hollow wedding that we came to attend. The living room was great, kitchen was full of pans, etc with coffee maker, ice maker, lots of storage. We appreciated the basket of cooking spices. Several of our party enjoyed the hot tub and the extensive deck was great! Lots of places to sit - sun, shade, rocking chair, picnic table. We saw a doe and baby deer from the deck, lots of birds on the wire and flitting around the bushes. A couple people went to the nearby winery and mercantile, they were able to pick up a few necessities there without driving far. We had dinner in Boone one evening, not too far, (the other dinners were at the wedding venue). Julie was quick to respond to questions and had excellent suggestions of places to visit and eat. It was a wonderful family gathering.

Amazing Stay! Perfect Cabin for Our Family Our stay at this cabin was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. The cabin was spotless, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was clear that a lot of thought and care went into making sure guests are taken care of. The host was incredibly helpful. I had a few questions during our stay, and each time I called, the host was quick to respond and provided clear, friendly assistance. It's rare to find such excellent customer service! The location was peaceful and safe, providing the ideal environment for relaxation and family time. We loved the cozy atmosphere and all the amenities that made the cabin feel like a true home away from home. We highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with excellent hospitality. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

Chris's cabin and property are beautiful! We loved having the river right behind us to play in with our puppy. Everything with the cabin was great, comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen, plenty of wood for the firepit, charcoal for the grills, and an amazing view of the river and surroundings. Very private and very remote, I would strongly recommend having an SUV/all-wheel drive vehicle. We saw two black bears as we were driving back to the property which was fun to see (but glad they weren't any closer or on the property). Chris is very helpful with instructions for getting to the place, and was very responsive when we had questions. We definitely hope to go back and highly recommend this property!

The cabin was overwhelmingly charming and so private. The surroundings were gorgeous, and we absolutely loved the hot tub and fire pit/patio area. Grilled out both days. The steps down to the lake were quite a work out and not for the faint of heart, but the view once you got down there was absolutely breathtaking. I would definitely recommend and would love to return.

We had a wonderful family vacation in this beautiful luxury cabin. Everything was perfect and there was plenty of room for our 13 family members. We had a great time on the large porch, the sauna and the game room. We walked some of the trails in the community and they were very well planned out with beautiful scenery. We also had time to visit Blowing Rock and Boone! Only regret is I wished we could have stayed longer! Worth every penny to stay at Fredrik’s Cabin!
