Family-friendly vacation rentals in Vienna

Beautiful beautiful beautiful apartment. Really made me consider extending my trip so we could experience the apartment for longer. Felt right at home, very peaceful, walkable, 3 min walk from the tram station. We were only there for two nights so couldn’t make use of the beautiful kitchen but would’ve loved to. It was so well equipped and kept. Great value for money as well. The apartment is actually much bigger than what it looks like in the pictures.

The accommodation is located on the roof of the building, it is very nice and spacious, it has a dining area with a sofa that goes around the table. The bed is comfortable, the kitchen has induction stoves, fresh running water, and everything you need to wash and dry clothes independently. The apartment is really in front of the station, every morning we went and returned comfortably from the center in 20 minutes. Karl is very kind.

Felix’s place a was a wonderful place to stay for a few nights while visiting Vienna. Its location is perfect just a short walk from the sights in the town and nearby museums. Felix and Iker were at the flat to greet me upon arrival and very kind and will surely help you with anything you could need. The apartment was perfectly clean and well stocked with goods and amenities. I would suggest you book Felix’s apartment in Vienna:) You won’t be disappointed! I would absolutely stay here again.

Great apartment within easy reach of the centre by walking or the subway just around the corner. Very clean and all home comforts there.

We felt right at home. Super easy check-in. The apartment is very comfortable and spacious, with everything you need. The location is very good, and close to the metro stations. There are many bars with gluten-free options in the neighborhood. I would definitely stay at Peter's apartment again! Thank you for your hospitality

Very nice, clean and comfortable apartment. We had everything we needed and felt right at home. We had good restaurants near by and walked to the beautiful downtown attractions. Great experience!

Very spacious and well equipped unit with lots of character. It’s on a main road but we had no issues with street noise when windows were shut. It’s 5 minute walk to an amazing market with lots of food options, a great playground and a 10-20 minute walk to most of the major sites downtown. Loved that the kitchen was so well equipped and the extra towels provided. This was one of the best Airbnb units I’ve stayed in and recommend it for families (we were four adults, 2 kids under 2).

We had a pleasant and comfortable stay at Ulli and Günther's apartment. The apartment is charming, beautifully decorated and thoughtfully designed to meet all the needs of travelers. The place is very quiet, extremely clean and tidy, and exceptionally well equipped. It is conveniently located near train and metro stations, making it easy to get around the city. There are also great shops nearby. The hosts were incredibly kind and friendly, genuinely warm and welcoming people who shared many helpful tips and information about shops, transportation, and tourist attractions in Vienna. We highly recommend it!

We felt very comfortable. For the three of us adults and two toddlers, the apartment was a great size and everything we needed during our stay was available. We also found the location great, we will be happy to come back!

Had a lovely time! The apartment is spacious, well-equipped, and comfortably designed. It’s close to shops, restaurants, and public transport, yet the neighborhood is quiet. There’s even a nice balcony for outdoor seating. Highly recommend!

What a great place! Armin’s place was so beautiful, and had everything you could possibly need. From a hair dryer to every cutlery and cooking utensils, it felt right at home. The bed and sofa were very comfortable. The piano was a nice touch as well. Armin was so responsive and answered any question I had. Great place, so worth the price, would recommend to anyone and would definitely return again. I’m very pleased.

It's a beautiful apartment; clean, spacious, bright and immaculate. Everything is in perfect shape, and it was one of the nicest places we have ever stayed in. The location is extremely convenient, close to public transportation and very walkable to the major attractions in the old city. It couldn't have been better. Highly recommended!

Roland’s apartment was quiet, clean and comfortable. It’s a walkable area in a residential block near the park, with restaurants and a grocery store nearby. Roland was very responsive, sending restaurant recommendations and ways to get to and from the airport.

I love the design elements of the apartment, easy access to mass transit, quite response time for Taxis/Uber bookings, and Susanne—who has a wonderful personality, quick response time to messages, and helpful tips!

We were happy to have this spacious apartment in the middle of our travels. Plenty of living room space and three separate bedrooms. Looked like they were building a small pool or hot tub in the courtyard for residents. Easy access with codes and two sets of keys so perfect for days we separated. Separate toilet from bathroom also great, and enjoyed soaking in that deep tub after all the walking. Everything is very cute and modern. Have requested some sort of privacy for round window between bathing area and hallway. We taped up a kitchen towel, as we were with our adult children. Neighborhood was nice enough - not a lot of restaurants open late in this area. Gastwirtschaft Schilling was so good local Austrian food - open late….across from two strip clubs - but very cozy, friendly, great food. Loved being in this district, close to the art museums. Busses and subway get you everywhere. Did not see anyone swipe their transit cards, so decide yourself if you buy one.

The room is larger than expected, and it is not crowded even with two large luggage spread out, but the bathroom is narrower, and the toilet is very close to the sink. The location is very close to the train station and there is a supermarket nearby, which is very convenient overall. The small disadvantage is that there is no washing machine in the room, and the building has no elevator, you need to climb two floors, and you may need to consider if you have large luggage. Considering the price of accommodation in Vienna, this listing is a great value for money, although there are small drawbacks, it is still highly recommended!

I stayed here for a week during a congress. I really loved Babette’s place: it is a 2nd floor flat in a lovely old house. Tall ceilings. It even had the metal hand washing basin in the main entrance of the nuilding like many Viennese turn of the century houses do. The apartment is lovely clean and uncluttered and does not have a TV - I also loved that. The location is perfect: lovely untouristy area felt very peaceful. 10 min to Tram or Subway and 5 min to Augarten where I went for a run every morning. I was really busy during my stay so liked the local infrastructure: superb Kebap place and other outlets are just outside the front door. Zum Sumer deli shop sells excellent Boerek which I had for breakfast with Ayran. Best disvovery was the wonderfully unpretentious Gasthaus Automat Welt which is 1 min from the front door: so nice! My colleagues and I went to more touristy places to eat but Gasthaus Automat Welt remained my favourite.

We had an exceptional time at our HeyMi apartment. We were two couples ho went to Vienna for a ball in the city hall and found the apartment to be the perfect place to enjoy a sparkly Vienna vibe, in walking distance to the city center, in a magnificent building with old Viennese charm. We found the two bathrooms super useful for two couples, the kitchen well equipped and it was also very helpful to store our luggage in the HeyMi office on the ground floor on our day of departure. While being situated on a road with relatively heavy traffic, we found the apartment to be a quiet haven after a long day of exploring the city. It's absolutely worth it's prize and a great find for an extraordinary stay in this beautiful city.

We really enjoyed our stay in Josef's spacious apartment with its high ceilings and parquet flooring. The location is excellent, a quiet neighbourhood only 20-25 minutes from the central area of Vienna or about 15-20 minutes if you're feeling lazy and take one of the Line 2 trams which run every few minutes. The apartment is close to supermarkets and bakeries, an easy place to stay. I would gladly stay there again. A great base for sight seeing.

Peter is an excellent host with great suggestions. He also answers questions and helps with mapping out where you want to go. The apartment is so easy to get to by transit and walking distance from Westbahnhof Station so easy to get to the old city or the hills surrounding Vienna by transit. The apartment is spacious and clean and very quiet, We had a very comfortable stay there and would stay there again .
