Wow. You can’t have a better location for one thing. Huge bay window overlooking St Stephen’s Square and the basilica. But more than that the apartment is wonderful in its vintage charm and its facilities. Once you add in Kata’s warm, attentive and helpful hosting, you have a winning combination. You won’t regret booking!

The apartment is located in a central area, very well positioned-animated, but without being loud. Everything was very clean and well taken care of and the balcony was a real plus-perfect for a relaxing moment. The host was extraordinarily kind, actively involved and helped me with parking, which mattered a lot to me. I felt like home and I highly recommend this place to stay. I would definitely come back!

Moksha Home Downtown. A Home with a Soul

NickRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Eszter is extremely communicative! Locating and entering such apartments in cities can be tricky. A detailed instruction with photos and videos were included to ensure you got there and got in with ease. Very very appreciated. We lucked out and got an on street parking spot directly in front of the building for our stay but the same detailed instructions were provided for Eszter's park spot a few minutes away. The location is also excellent. Several very good restaurants in the same block or just a few minutes away. We walked all over the city from the apartment and could get to all the major attractions within 25-30 minutes. Couldn't ask for a better location, value, or host!

ATLANTA apartment is in the heart of Budapest.

The place itself is very nice with everything you need, in a great location, and the host is very friendly and communicates very well. They had seen from my passport while checking in online that it was my birthday, and had left a card and a bottle of rose out on the table for me upon arrival which was a lovely surprise. They also messaged me on my birthday. This shows that they really go the extra mile for you. Could not recommend this airbnb more.

Charming Center Apartment 4/2

JulieRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We stayed 3 nights with Peter and Cecilia, and we are delighted. The apartment is clean, bright, and in a very good location! From the airport, the bus takes you 10-15 min walk from the apartment. Many restaurants/bars nearby, close to all monuments. Peter and Cecilia are very kind, and especially very responsive. They did their best to get us to the apartment as quickly as possible, because following a flight change, we arrived earlier. They also recommended restaurants and luggage storage solutions for the return. Really a great experience, thanks to them! I recommend 100%

In real life it is twice better than on photos. Big, clean, cozy, relax Villa with a lot of private spaces, so even if you have big group all of them can find place for relax from each other if needed. Great sauna, big jacuzzi, big pool. A lot of staff, toys for the baby and infants (even a pool is secured from the baby if needed). You can stay with dogs since all the territory 100% secured and fenced. 1 parking spot on the territory, and about 3 parking space just behind the fence. Totally recommended!

Your guide to Budapest

All About Budapest

Hungary’s capital, Budapest, is a bustling metropolis in central Europe. The Danube River splits the city in two, and Budapest’s many bridges help reconnect it. Each bridge has a story behind its name and serves as a historical symbol of this cosmopolitan capital. Budapest’s cityscape is a mix of architecture, from classic Baroque and Gothic styles to sleek, modern buildings.

The best way to experience Budapest is to take part in local life. Explore public spaces, such as the lush City Park, and wander through the alleyways full of street art and make a detour to a pop-up flea market for a unique souvenir. Throughout your city journey, find one of the many thermal, outdoor baths scattered throughout the downtown area. Budapest also hosts several festivals throughout the year. For more insight into Hungary’s compelling history, you can visit one of Budapest’s national museums.

The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Budapest

Budapest has four distinct seasons. During the hot summertime, you can lounge by one of the city’s swim-friendly outdoor baths. Winter can be cold and rainy and you might see snow if you visit Budapest from December to March. Holiday markets and an outdoor ice skating rink at City Park will also keep you busy this time of year. When spring arrives, Budapest hosts the annual Cherry Blossom Festival, and you can picnic near the bright purple cherry blossom trees in full bloom through April. Autumn is cool and comfortable, and a busy time for local festivals. One of the city’s well-known events during fall is the international wine festival at Buda Castle. There are a variety of vacation rentals in Budapest from downtown lofts and vacation apartments to luxury rooms and everything in between. Since it’s a pedestrian-friendly city, it’s best to choose accommodations that are in a convenient location.

Top things to do in Budapest

Museum of Fine Arts

Discover some of Europe’s most impressive artwork at Budapest’s Museum of Fine Arts in Heroes’ Square. The museum’s neoclassical design is a work of art in itself, and the building has undergone reconstruction over the last several years. Its diverse art collections include classical antiquities, master paintings, sculptures, and regularly changing temporary exhibitions.

Liberty Bridge

Liberty Bridge is heavily trafficked during the day and becomes a sightseeing activity at night. Meander along the Danube River banks until you get close to the glowing bridge. You can bring a blanket and sit below Liberty Bridge for a close-up view. If you plan to visit during the summer, Liberty Bridge becomes a pedestrian-only space at night.

Indie cinemas

Visit one of Budapest’s independent cinemas scattered throughout the city. From historic buildings to eclectic and modern spaces, each movie theater has a distinct feel. You can look for a cinema playing cult classics, or find a showing for a lesser known indie film.
