Beautiful secluded house, quiet and good connection by public transport

Very lovely place to stay when you want to explore Stockholm but prefer calm time too. Felt like I was at home. Very social cat there sat with me through night and helped me to study (distraction was perhaps bigger). Would recommend it to anyone (emotional support by the cat).

Erika was exceptionally warm and friendly. She respected our privacy while making herself very available, we felt like we had our own place in the forest. She had put such thought into every detail- the rosemary in the water, the little chocolate with the coffee, the sauna infusion scents and skin care, the practical robe for moving between the sauna and hot tub but also the super soft robe for after. It really felt like a spa. She was so generous to accommodate our difficult dietary requirements for breakfast, and she was genuinely lovely to talk to. We live in Stockholm and would love to come back!

We had a great stay, Hans is a great host quick to respond and friendly . Fishing on the lake is very good and kayak and canoe and even a boat are at disposal . The cabin have everything needed . We greatly recommend it and will happily go back .

Thank you Joanna for a lovely stay. We stayed here for 3 nights in October and it’s safe to say that the pictures do not do this place justice. The place is private and it is an excellent location with lots of activities (kayaking, paddle boarding). We enjoyed it a lot!

The cottage is a great mix of modern and traditional. It’s a very comfortable home and beautifully decorated. The view of the sea is beautiful and so is the landscape. Her recommendations of places to visit were excellent. It’s an ideal Swedish summer cottage.

We spent a week in Erica's cottage and especially enjoyed the nature and tranquility. We even saw deer, a moose, rabbits and probably bucks. The house had everything you need and it had many small extras, e.g. in the refrigerator. We also grilled and of course enjoyed the hot tub. For the arrival, Erica's description was very helpful - be sure to pay attention! We made a stop at the Eldtoma coffee shop before and the navigation then led us to a completely wrong barrier....! Thank you Erica for everything!

We had such a great time at this lovely cottage. We felt at home, the area is so quiet and yet close to a nice cafe, the sea, the grocery store, adventure swimming many hiking trails and not far into Stockholm. Ann-Kristin and Ragnar helped with everything we needed and made the stay so cozy. Thank you for everything, we would love to come back.

For us as a family (with adult/tea tag children) it was absolutely perfect. The location is fantastic, the island consists only of summer houses and is idyllically quiet - and the magnificent Stockholm is very close. The house was completely in line with our taste: a Swedish-modern summer house, where we felt completely comfortable. Lotta is very friendly and always responded immediately to all questions. (Note: Access to the island by rowing boat and especially to the house itself (very many steep steps) is only for people who are very good on foot and to some extent sporty. All luggage - and all shopping - must be carried by boat and on foot. There is a store on the island. )

Very cute, cozy and warm chalet. The location is perfect, the environment beautiful, the sunsets were splendid. We even saw an aurora borealis 🤩 Everything was perfect and we had a great stay!

Very nice stay at Jessica’s guest house. She was very accommodating as we didn’t bring sheets and towels and promptly provided them for us. The view was absolutely amazing and very easy to get in to Stockholm by bus or by car. Very clean and comfortable house with plenty of room and the amenities were great.

There were three of us at Marie's place for 2 weeks and it was wonderful. The house and the surrounding property are totally beautiful and invite you to relax. We enjoyed the peace and nature very much. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. In the kitchen there was everything you need for a relaxing stay. Marie was quickly available for questions and gave us tips in the area. We did not have a car with us but would highly recommend it. Shopping and exploring the area is a little complicated without a car. The bikes on site were still a great way to get around. We would come back any time that has peace and great surroundings and brought exactly the relaxation we were looking for. Great recommendation!

We enjoyed our 5 nights very much and found an accommodation that corresponded 1:1 to the description and the pictures. The house, or rather the houses, are not new, but totally fulfill their purpose. We enjoyed the view at breakfast, were in the sauna and bathed at the jetty. The fireplace is a real plus! The surroundings are super quiet, the property very large and varied. The contact with Olle was always nice, reliable and helpful. This place is just perfect for nature lovers and people who like it lonely! We will definitely be back!

We had a great visit to Malin’s place! Very cozy, and nicely furnished, great to have a balcony to eat breakfasts on in the morning sun. Malin was very communicative and helped us with any questions we had regarding the ferry, swimming spots, and spots to see. The island itself is very cozy with no cars, just nice walking paths, nice piers to swim from, forests to pick blueberries in, old cozy houses, and just very calm.

We loved our stay in Ljusterö, very easy to access with the waxholm bolaget boat and the place is very quiet. The kids loved all the games available in the house and especially to take care of the chickens and find the fresh eggs in the morning. The only small negative is that of bringing your own bed linen and towels.

A nice and practical cabin, well equipped and in every way nice. We were there just over a week, four adults and two kids. Everyone settled in quickly. Lots of play equipment for the kids and plenty of room for play and games, made the stay fun for the kids and relaxing for the adults. The cabin is nicely located, with no view, yet in open countryside, with decent access to swimming areas. The host is nice and welcoming.

The summer house of Folke is nicely located in a small residential area on a hill. There are two beautiful swimming spots within walking distance, to Stockholm it is about 45 minutes from the bus stop at the foot of the hill. Otherwise, you can quickly reach beautiful places in the Stockholm archipelago by bus or car. The house has everything we needed, dishwasher, washing machine, barbecue, lounge furniture, bed linen, towels, air conditioning and a small vacuum cleaner robot. As you can see in the pictures, the house has a retro charm, which we liked. We will be happy to come back and say thank you for the beautiful welcome package that awaited us upon our arrival.

A great place to spend midsummer! Close to the water, a beautiful view, with a bunch of amenities and things in the house. Easy to get to by bus. We didn't realize that towels and sheets were not included, but Stefan was super kind to let us borrow their private stuff. Friendly prompt response from host as well. We brought a lot of basic stuff, like toilet paper, coffee filters, salt, etc., but it was already in the house (but we might just be lucky). Would love to go there again!

Great communication with Bijan and Hajer. They were not physically here to welcome us but left precise indications on how everything works. As we arrived in minus temperatures outside, the houses were quite cold and needed a few hours to warm up. The little chimney helped a lot and put us in a very cozy mood. Bijan even prepared the logs so we would just had to light them on for the first time. The bus stop is really close to the property (only a few minutes away - it is ideal to go to Stockholm as there are a few direct buses and many indirect ones). The kitchen has everything you need to cook and bake. We had a great time for Christmas and New Year there, we were able to enjoy the fireworks from the terrace up in the backyard with very nice views. I highly recommend!

Very pleasant stay in Mia's chalet which totally met our expectations. Surrounded by nature and yet not isolated (many houses around but without inconvenience) we enjoyed this charming and very well arranged chalet. Our girls (9 and 6) loved the trampoline and to see some animals and we enjoyed being both very quiet and joining other islands (Sandhamm, Valxhom or Möja) easily. Sollenkroka is well served by bus 434, easy to come from Stockholm. When leaving the house, some unmarked trails allow you to see splendid landscapes. The cottage is very clean and well equipped and communication with Mia was particularly smooth! Thanks again for a great stay

We are so happy with the stay! The house was so nice, and you immediately felt at home. Everything was clean and fresh, and the beds were made upon arrival! The kids appreciated that there were some toys in the house. The area was also very cozy and extremely quiet. The beach was only a few minutes away, which made it easy to just walk down and take a swim. We would absolutely recommend both Ljusterö as a destination, and this home to others!
