Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Vaxholm Municipality

We had a lovely time in Kullö. The island is enchanting and you are quickly on Vaxholm and Stockholm, so we were able to make many nice excursions! Communication with Frida and Jonathan was very pleasant and we felt very comfortable. Thank you!

We had an amazing couple of days at Anders' Storholmen oasis. The sauna and diving into the ocean was a highlight. So were our interactions with Anki and Arne (two very hungry ducks) and Debbie and Kelly (the neighbour's dogs). Even the ferry ride to the island was very scenic and a lot of fun. Anders was an exceptional host. He communicated clearly and promptly and was very friendly. This is the Swedish summer island lifestyle at its best - highly recommended!

It was an excellent stay in the wonderful house with an amazing pool. Everything was perfect and the communication was easygoing. We enjoyed every day.

We had a wonderful stay in Lidingö, the house was lovely and felt like a 2nd home. The home was easy to access and everything as described and like pictures. Before arriving we recieved a great list about the house, the neighborhood, things to do, eat and see both on the island and in Stockholm. Breviksbadet and Elfviksbadet were our favorite activities with kids during our stay on hot summer days, highly recommend those places.

My family group of eight adults had a wonderful time at Christofer and Erika’s beautiful home. The location is unique with stunning views. The main house and separate guesthouses are tastefully decorated and in keeping with the style of the building. There are a number of well furnished outdoor spaces which really add to the charm. The house is very well equipped, we had everything we needed. It is simply a beautiful home away from home with the added bonus of the water-side wood fired sauna . Access to Stockholm city is straightforward from one of three ferry stops on the island and you can be in the city centre in less than an hour. Christofer and Erika are very responsive hosts, nothing was too much trouble and provided us with a really memorable holiday. It was a 5⭐️experience and would highly recommend.

Enjoyed a great stay here as a family with young kids. Daniel was a superb host, very considerate and helpful (extremely responsive when we had a question for him). The property is beautiful, an excellent base to explore Stockholm from and return to at the end of the day. Would definitely recommend this place, we had a lovely time!

We loved Annika's place. We spent New Year there and felt right at home. 😍 The house was so nicely decorated and super cozy. Annika gave us great tips on what to do in the area. When it snowed, a neighbor lent us his sled for the kids. We enjoyed the time to the fullest and would very much like to come back in the summer. The area is fantastic. Thank you for everything Annika! 😊

I was coming to Stockholm because I was going to see Taylor's concert, because of the flight delay, I was later than I expected, and the key box for the room was broken, so I also met with Serkan, he was very friendly and respectful to me, left after a brief introduction to the room, he didn't even come inside the house, just at the door.This was my first time traveling alone and Serkan's approach made me feel at ease.It was quite late to come back after watching the concert the next day, and it was a little scary to walk the night road alone, but the neighborhood was beyond the tranquility and peace that I thought touched me again, and I never felt that lighthearted and free.And the bed in the room is also very comfortable, and I slept well.I really enjoyed my two days renting here.If there was a chance I would definitely come again, thank you to the Serkan family for being accommodating, friendly and respectful, I really enjoyed my stay.

The apartment is downtown Stockholm, excellent location for walking or taking the super cheap and easy public transport. It's in a beautiful old building, marble staircase or period elevator up to the third floor. Keyless entry. Inside, everything is well organized, tasteful, and sparkling clean. The small balcony is a nice feature, weather permitting. We stayed for 5 nights and enjoyed the apartment very much. Fridge was filled with fresh yoghurt, a huge hunk of cheese, drinks. The kitchen contains everything you need. Thank you for letting us live in your home, Jonathan.

Beautiful apartment in a villa by the lake. Gorgeous setting and peaceful. About a 10 minute walk from the apartment to the bus stop which connects to the metro. Drottnigham palace is a short distance away. Homemade jam butter, flowers and fruit were nice. Highly recommend if you want to be a natural setting but well connected to Stockholm.

Wonderful home in every way possible! Patrik was very helpful when you arrived tired at night, which was extra appreciated. The apartment is super nice, has everything you can possibly need and we slept really well in the comfortable beds with total silence outside. It was magical to stay so close to town but still have it so quiet. Highly recommended!

Natalie was a great host, we couldn’t have picked a better place. She answered all our questions and was very easy to work with. If we are ever in Stockholm again regardless of area we need to be, we staying at Natalie’s.

Beautiful place with stunning terrace: We enjoyed staying at Oytun’s space. The terrace is perfect for a barbecue or a quiet drink in the evening. The bathroom is spacious and the bed is extremely comfortable. The location was great, well-connected to the city but also close to where our friends live. Would definitely recommend staying here and would stay again.

We had a fab couple of days by the lake, such a beautiful location. The cabin is light and airy and has everything you need. The cabin's patio is quite private, which is good as the cabin's close to other dwellings. It wasn't a problem for us, but it's good to note that that although the cabin is on one level, it's not accessible by wheelchair as it's up some steps.

Guans parents who lived there and looked after us were extremely sweet and nice. Offered home-grown and was very helpful. Highest rating!

6 adults stayed in this house for a few days and it was amazing. We had plenty of room and the views were amazing. I would absolutely come back to Linda's place again. The island is nice for walking, swimming, and just relaxing. We took the waxholmsbolaget boat and it was very easy. Wonderful!

We stayed in the house as a family for 6 nights. We felt right at home. The location is fantastic. Very quiet and directly on a small lake. The booking and communication with Jessica went smoothly. We lacked nothing.

Small peaceful cottage in the heart of nature, easy to access (train 5 min) and with bicycles available to discover the surroundings. Had a lovely few days!!

Seven of us came for a weekend trip here and had a wonderful time! The cabin is super nice and cosy, but not at all cramped. It has great amenities - everything you could need in the kitchen, and more than enough chairs/ tables outside such that you can be in the sun all the time. We were a bit nervous about using the outdoor shower but it’s actually super pleasant!! Gustav was fantastic, and super responsive when we had a couple of issues with the toilet. He also was kind enough to let us stay into the evening on the day of check out to enjoy the nice weather. Side note - the toilet is in the second cabin where one of the bedrooms is. This was fine for us, but good to be aware of this, in case more privacy is needed. It is easy to reach by bus from Slussen (only 10 mins walk from the bus stop. The surroundings are delightful and the water is very close by. Overall would definitely recommend this cabin! And make sure to bring things to BBQ !

We spent 5 nights in Christina's place, a home as described, a little paradise lost in nature. We were on foot, but, loving to walk (20 minutes from the bus stop) it was no problem for us. Thank you for the loan of the bikes and canoe that allowed us to discover Vaxholm and the surrounding islands, differently and autonomously! Christina was a great host. It was a great!

It’s a really nice house with a beautiful view and everything you need for a happy and relaxing break. We were there for a week and found loads to do, going on the ferries to explore other places, but we also had lovely days just walking and swimming and reading on the island. Robert was a very generous and helpful host.
