Relax with the whole family in this peaceful idyllic accommodation on Resarö in the Stockholm archipelago but close to Stockholm City (30 minutes by car). A swimming area and grocery store are within walking distance. You can get into Vaxholm (the capital of the archipelago) in 5 minutes (car) or 10 minutes (bus). Cozy guesthouse with sun deck close to the sea

Welcome to Karlsudd, just outside of Vaxholm. This has been a paradise for hundred years with summer villas and permanent residences. Our guest house which is 50m2 is located below the main villa with its own sundeck with bbq, sea view and 300 meters to rocks or beach when you wish to take a swim. Bedroom with double bed and loft with two single beds (The loft is not suitable for children) It is 1.5 km to Bogesund Castle with hiking trails and 4 km to the Golf Club and 1 km to the Vaxholm boats.

Built in 1875. This classical Swedish country house at Tynningö in the Stockholm Archipelago is fantastic. Large secluded garden, amazing sea view and a private beach. Villa Paradiset spans over roughly 400 sqm and consists of open plan kitchen and dining area, two large living rooms and 7 large double bedrooms. Max 14 people, including babies/toddlers. We spent 10 days in the house and had a wonderful time. The house is great! It is very quiet, it was super clean an nicely furnished. We used the Ferry to Vaxholm/Stockholm and the little beach a lot (each 10min walk). Clara gave good advices for the area and the house. We are very thankful for a great holiday!

Fantastic. Extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. Apartment already expensive, but worth the price - the view of the water is unbeatable and Vaxholm is very well located for activities in Stockholm and the archipelago. Now in March few ships are sailing, but the bus connections are excellent.

We had such a great week in Johan’s house and were particularly grateful for the helpful suggestions about the locale which really helped us get the most out of our stay. It really is an idyllic setting with gorgeous swimming spots nearby and great running routes from the doorstep. The house is very comfortable and Johan was a super kind and helpful host. We were travelling without a car and it’s very easy to zip about from the house via Sweden’s fantastic and unbelievably cheap public transport- bus & train to Stockholm centre, ferries to the beautiful archipelago, safe and easy cycling everywhere. Our teenagers enjoyed exploring the new and very cool ‘Gasworks’ area around Ropsten. 100% recommend!

We loved staying at this house. The house is clean, light and spacious and is in a great location - we could easily do trips into Stockholm or go to islands further out. It's an easy drive into Vaxholm from the house but we also enjoyed staying at the house and using the pool. David is a great host who was very helpful with planning our trip.

Lovely house! Lovely garden! Quiet area where it is easy to get to bus and shopping. Everything was as it appeared in the photos, and communication with Patrik can't be put a finger on it. If we go to Stockholm again, we could easily book Patrick's house again.

We had a wonderful two weeks on Stegesund in Gabriel's house. The house is very modern, very well designed for a family used to open-plan living and suited us perfectly. It is beautifully appointed with great style and is very comfortable. The house sits in the natural surroundings of Stegesund which is a quiet and beautiful island. There are no cars on the island and it feels safe and friendly. Wildlife abounds - we saw red deer, a fox and lots of birds. There isn't a really good beach on Stegesund but you can very easily get to other islands such as Ekholmen or Skarpö just across the sound which has very nice one. I would recommend hiring a boat with the house as it gives you the flexibility to get around at will though the Waxholmbolaget ferries are fairly frequent (the 30-day pass is good value even if you're only there for two weeks). Stockholm city is only an hour away by ferry. All in all I consider this place a real paradise and perfect for a family holiday. Tusen tack!

It was perfect for us! We were 3 adults with 2 children. The house is large and cozy, plus a nice garden for the kids to play in. The jetty is about 300 m behind the house, it is about 15 minutes walk to the large beach, bus stops to Stockholm or to the center of Vaxholm (3 stations) or to the large ferry terminal are also only about 300 m away. The ferries 83 which are included in the Sl card only run 3 in the morning and 3 in the evening or afternoon, for the other ferries which run all day you have to pay extra, but the ferry rides are fantastically beautiful. Otherwise, simply take the bus/metro to Stockholm. The landlord was always reachable and straightforward, and a later checkout was also no problem. Perfect place for a mix of Stockholm city and Vaxholm !!!
