This location is a bit remote but totally worth it. A stream runs by the property, a lot of jackfruits around, a small checkdam-waterfall at walking distance and further ahead some beautiful viewpoints. Locals are friendly, a young couple helped us to checkin and an uncle guided us to a viewpoint. Vivin is really kind, he coordinated everything through phone. We were lucky to have booked Sibi's cab from Kochi because they both communicated seamlessly in Malayalam and took us to lesser known sightseeing places. He got things arranged pretty well. Vivin also offered us homegrown fruits and jackfruits, his mom Sophie aunty was super warm and kind to us. This is not a commercial luxurious resort, this is a proper house where you get to experience how locals live, first hand. Different experience, totally worth it. It was a very peaceful stay away from the hustle bustle of city life. We had a very peaceful stay, there’s a river nearby. For eateries, one needs to walk to the town. The food delivery apps deliver if you don’t wish to order in. Host is very responsive & helpful and stays nearby. Thank you for having us!

We had a wonderful stay at Sunil’s place! The house was spotlessly clean and located in an absolutely serene and peaceful setting, tucked away in a hilly, forested area that made the stay feel like a true escape into nature. Sunil was an exceptional host—he provided clear instructions on how to reach the property and was always just a message away, responding within seconds whenever we needed anything. One moment that truly stood out was when our mom needed a bit of help with the jeep—Sunil and his colleagues went above and beyond to assist her and ensure we felt safe and cared for. The food was another highlight: fresh, home-cooked, and absolutely delicious. You could really taste the warmth and effort that went into every meal.
