Superb location. Completely private and peaceful. Excellent valley views from the pool. Pool is not temperature controlled. But it was clean and maintained well. Reaching the place is only through their 4x4 jeep. Normal cars cant go there. It is totally off road for 15 mins drive. Cook and caretakers are present in the property. Breakfast is complimentary. But dinner is served on request. The food tasted so good. Fire place, Badminton court, and barbecue available. Reaching the uppatty village was challenging. Google maps showed wrong and dangerous off road routes. So ask locals and reach the village to park your vehicle in the owners place. From there they will take us to the property in jeep. Overall worth for money of we go in groups.

Amazing property at a peaceful location, with clear night skies and a crisp, cold during our visit. You can enjoy delicious meals prepared by the caretaker, Mr. Lethif, at a nominal charge. Breakfast is complimentary and is good. The host, Mr.Pronoy was very responsive and guided us for the local activities. However, we chose to stay at the property as property and it's surroundings were beautiful.

The large glass windows in the Villas allow you to see the sunrise and mountains right from the bed, making it a magical sight. Villa boasts a beautiful design, tasteful décor with all modern amenities. It has a very spacious bedroom, a large and cozy bed, an open kitchenette, an en suite bathroom with hot water 24*7, spacious wardrobe, ample seating area and a swing right outside the villa to relax. The building's design is thoughtfully executed with great taste and care in all aspects. The breakfast is very appetizing, delicious, and more than enough to eat. The cook on-site prepares incredible lunch and dinner options according to your preference. Simple is an exceptional hostess and truly one of her kind. She is very friendly, helpful, highly interactive, with a sole aim of delighting customers.

One has to try their green chicken!! It’s so yummy. Anand and Vybhav were very helpful and always responsive. We had great time and also its very close to the safari gate as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Our stay at Kalikavu has been the highlight of our 3 week trip exploring South India and loved by everyone in our group of 8 people - children and grown ups alike. The lush surroundings of rubber, betel nut and coconut trees and colourful plants with the mountains seen in the distance made it a perfect place to relax and take in nature. We all wish we could have stayed longer. Louis, Riyas and the ladies who prepared delicious meals for us were really helpful and made our stay very special. Particular thanks to Riyas who took us on a walk to the hidden waterfall where we all enjoyed a refreshing swim. We would definitely recommend Kalikavu to anyone wanting to explore Silent Valley and enjoy the beauty the valley has to offer.

The property is located in such a peaceful place. If one wishes to get relaxed and stay close to nature, I would Recommend this place.. and it was Clean, Neat... On top of everything the Staff Mr.Deepak was too responsive.. on the whole it's Highly Recommend Place to stay..

Nice view, very accommodating host - Little bit hassle in reaching the place because of gravel road but that journey is worth !!

Excellent stay, will cherish our time spend at this place for a very long time. Our care-taker Alam is a very understanding person, gets you all the stuff you need pro-actively. Our host Aman, too good and knows very well what guests need for a very comfortable stay...I 100% recommend this property.

Skyfall Elysium was exactly the kind of place that we were looking for ! Short escape from the city located in the lush green scenery and amidst tea plantation. The placed matched exactly as described by the host. The view from the glass walls are unmatched and top-notched. Caretaker Mohan was very helpful and responsive throughout our stay. During monsoon there can be powercuts in the area, however the property is equipped with power backup. We faced slight issues due to the powercut but these are unforeseen situations and are not in anyone’s hand ! I can definitely count this property for my 2nd visit to Ooty if planned in future !

This homestay away from Ooty town is awesome, the view from balcony is amazing, our family loved it specially the sunrise, it is very peaceful and away from city buzz. service by caretakers is also good and they are very prompt, host mubashir suggested a cab driver for sightseeing he is also very professional. overall we are happy it is value for money.

The location and the villa itself are what make this a fantastic experience. It's located on the top of a hill, so the views are spectacular. It is also very secluded and away from the town. The best part though, was that we got to see some wildlife right from the villa rooftop. We got to see some mongoose and porcupine, and the highlight was the deers near the villa. The kids loved this. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Bathrooms are massive and the ground floor ones have amazing views. The food is a bit limited but it's quite tasty and due to it being secluded, the approach road isn't great but all our cars managed even a Skoda that had been lowered. The villa accommodated all 4 of our cars inside too. Overall, it was a great experience and we would recommend it to anyone.

great stay, it had a beautiful surrounding and very peaceful vibe. Rasheed and Rafiya who were the caretakers were especially very helpful, proactive, polite and available at all times. They also prepared one time meals for us upon request at reasonable price and the food also was delicious. they helped us with information about sight seeing as well which helped me tweak certain things i had planned as I didn't book my vacation through a tour agent. all in all, id highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a calm and clean place to stay amidst nature with a great view, and with amazing caretakers who are always available.

Awesome place to stay for small family groups. It had such a nice surrounding of lush green Nilgiris and tea plantations. Felt really good after spending 4 night stay here. Caretaker is also responsive and helpful. You can order from nearby restaurants and caretaker can also bring food from some local cooks. Will definitely recommend this place.

The property is at a very convenient location with respect to the town and nearby attractions. It was fairly easy to get there. The rooms are spacious and bathrooms are clean. The toiletries are basic and we had only one towel in our room. The caretaker is very friendly and always ready to help. We had very good food throughout our stay, thanks to him. We could not enjoy the outdoor area much due to incessant rain but it's well maintained. Overall, it was an excellent stay.
