Mountain villa is a perfect place for a relaxing & soulful getaway, offering great natural views of a beautiful side of the Western Ghats. Unlike a typical “resort” experience, Sunitha and Alex’s efforts to restore the existing and build in harmony with the surroundings must have been an arduous journey but has resulted in a unique experience. We stayed in the Stone Cottage which was just as described with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. But the heart and soul of Mountain villa are its people - from Immanuel who warmly welcomed us and kept us engrossed in conversation, Madaswami who walked us through the farms and gardens and pointed out the results of his labor with a twinkle in his eye, Mohan and Anoop whose cooking made us look forward to each meal time and never want to go home and Abel whose efficient management left no loose ends at all. To top it off is Sugu whose warmth and steady company seems to embody the spirit of the whole place. Highly recommend to all!

This place is bliss at its best as it gives us the perfect staycation for a couple who are looking for serenity in the country side with a Bali like feel which makes you crave for more, I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone who are looking for pure riverside calm, perfect for couples !!

We had such a lovely time at Lakebreeze Stays. The view of the lake was incredibly peaceful and serene, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax and unwind. The property was clean and looked exactly like the photos and description. What really stood out to us were the unique plants and trees all around the property. You can tell a lot of care and thought has gone into creating a space that feels close to nature, it really adds to the charm. Another highlight was the inhouse menu, consisting delicious home cooked Kerala food prepared by the caretaker, Shameera. Thank you so much to the wonderful hosts Jeeja and Arun for such a memorable stay. We’re looking forward to visiting again.

This was one of my favorite Airbnbs I’ve stayed in honestly! We were welcomed with fresh mango juice. It was so peaceful and relaxing, we didn’t have to worry about anything. We were surprised how there werent any mosquitoes. We communicated with Jacob and he helped us find activities and cab service to take us there and we ended up hiring the driver for our whole trip and that was great! We also had so many questions and the hosts were very kind, patient and responsive in helping us. Sumesh the caretaker was very nice and helped arrange our kayaks and sunrise boat ride even kindly giving us a wake-up call for the boat. Geetha the cook cooked the best food we had in the trip and catered it to our taste as well. We had dinner at an additional cost cooked by her and breakfast was included and we had a very peaceful delicious Kearla breakfast. The area is pretty remote but we had everything we needed there, the property was very big with so many plants and an amazing view!

Went for two days with my family . It is a really peaceful and picturesque place . It has wonderfully managed garden in back and front . Please plan if you want to step out from hustle of city and experience mindful and sustainable living .Naveen was always a very responsive host . Meals are cooked at the caretaker’s place and were super yum . Naveena the care taker was extremely hardworking , simple and helpful guy . He was always available,eager to help . You can also avail cleaning services by a local lady at minimal prices so that’s a big plus . All in all , we loved it especially my kid .. wished we had more days in hand ! With the promise to come back again , thanks Naveen ,Naveena ,Nayana and Mangalamma . You should be proud of what you have built !! A near of nature paradise .. thanks so much !! Will always remember this holiday !

The place is an excellent getaway for an unwinding from the everyday chaos. Sabu's home cooked food was exceptional. We felt at home and belonged to. Overall an amazing experience with the host and the property.

Stay at Verdanta Heritage Bungalow was really peaceful and highly recommended. Hosts Antony and Jacqueline were exceptional hosts, personally welcoming us despite our early morning flight, and ensuring the property was impeccably clean and well-maintained.Internet connectivity was very good and place was around 7-10mins walk to Kochi beach and close by to places like Jew Town,Vasco Da Gama church. My kids and family had relaxing time and we now know which place in Kochi to visit back for Stay it would be Antonys Verdanta Bungalow.

The stay was very pleasant. We were with the family. Kids enjoyed the place very well. Jeejo was very helpful. The beach is only a few minutes walk from the property. They have provided a shower in the garden which is very useful when you return from the beach.

Gagan's parents and family were an amazing host! Friendly, hospitable and walked the extra mile. Breakfast was fantastic and they prepared dinner too in addition, which I requested based on prior reviews, which was extremely reasonably priced. Wonderful family to meet up. They are getting ready for Gagan's marriage and we wish him a happy married life!

Absolutely loved our stay! The place was beautifully maintained, with a peaceful atmosphere and stunning views all around. Being surrounded by lake added a unique charm that made the experience even more special. The ambience was serene and relaxing—perfect for a getaway. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a calm and scenic escape!

House owner is a nice person and friendly. great hospitality. since the stay at first floor and no roof tress work, little bit hot all the time. but overall good experience.

A beautiful and sunny place near enough facilities needed for a relaxing holiday. Safe, friendly place near a most beautiful church, and Just walking distance to Marari beach. Home, has everything you will need, amazing hosts and a lot of privacy. The food provided by the Alieen (Reynold’s Wife) was absolutely amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed it. A little way out of the city but accessible and a lovely neighborhood This home is the perfect place for a couple and families. We stayed for 3 nights and had such a great time. Thanks to Mr. Reynold and his family for the great memories!

Great place! It is right in the heart of Madikeri. Amazing view. Just one little hiccup was that if you pack heavy luggage it would be a little difficult to bring it up the spiral staircase (But the host did help us bring it up)

Property is very nice, very nature friendly yard, the care taker is extremely nice and accommodating. The rooms are exactly as pictured. Calm and relaxing location. We cant wait to go back to enjoy the place again. I highly recommend this place.

Praveen's home was such a pleasant and peaceful place to stay. More than the stay, we enjoyed Acha's home-cooked authentic Kerala breakfast, lunch and dinner. Acha even prepared pazhapori (banana fritters) almost everyday, on special request from my daughter. Praveen was very hospitable and arranged boatrides, sightseeing and ensured our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. A very humble family to stay with. We are looking forward to our next trip to Kainakary at Praveen's new home. Wishing good luck! Thank you Praveen and family for making our stay a memorable one.

We had a very refreshing and relaxing break at Basil uncle's huge homestay. Tucked at the end of a beautiful lane, his house is an imposing structure. Behind his home are guest cottages nestled amidst greenery and mango trees, one can relax outside on hammocks even in summer time. The backside of the property opens into the riverside where we tried fishing with locals. What more can one ask for! Spacious, well kept cottages with all functional amenities, but one would end up spending most of their time in the garden or by the riverside. To make our stay memorable, Aunty treated us to some delicious kerala cuisine every morning and interesting breakfast conversations with Uncle helped us to experience the best of Kochi in limited time. Uncle's recos for truly local and pristine kochi secret spots were priceless. Very helpful and accomodative hosts who has been taking care of their guest for more than two decades and it shows. Go for the location, stay their for the lovely warm hosts

I had a truly wonderful stay at this beautiful backwater-facing villa in Kochi. Staying at this beautiful backwater-facing villa in Kochi was an unforgettable experience. The location is peaceful and scenic, perfect for relaxing and soaking in the natural beauty of Kerala. The villa itself is gorgeous clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed with lovely views of the backwaters. It felt like a perfect blend of comfort and authentic local charm. A huge thanks to our amazing host, Infanta Mam. She went above and beyond to make our stay special. She helped arrange a lovely backwater boat ride and even organized some fresh toddy for us to try — such a unique experience! She also gave great recommendations on where to shop for sarees and mundus, which was super helpful and extremely active lady. Infanta’s hospitality and attention to detail made all the difference. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Kochi — whether for relaxation, culture, or a bit of both. Shall visit soon

A little slice of heaven that is not too far away from Marari beach. We absolutely enjoyed the property and most specially the ambiance was very ethnic and regional. The pool was perfect. The property is clean and well maintained and embodies Kerala very well. The hosts are gracious and thoughtful. Little things were considered and taken care of. We will most certainly come again.

Jackson's place was great and at a great location right next to the sea. We had a really cozy stay. Jackson was very responsive an d a great host.

Me and my family including my two kids and my elderly mother stayed at Binod’s place for 5 days in early May. It was a wonderful experience and Binod made us feel like his family. He was helpful and went out of his way to make sure that we were comfortable. My son loved the greenery, trees and the nature around - quite a different experience for a city kid. As my mother is elderly she could not go sight seeing much so she stayed in the house most of the time and Binod was just a phone call away wherever she needed anything. She really enjoyed watching the sea and ships from the verandah of the house. And not to forget, the delicious local breakfast Binod’s wife prepared for us every morning.
