I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming hilltop holiday home amidst lush forests and coffee plantations. The Mountain View cottages provided a breathtaking panorama of both the valley and the majestic mountains, making each moment spent there truly enchanting. The cuisine is reminiscent of comforting homemade meals, which added an extra touch of warmth to the experience. For nature enthusiasts, the property’s allure is magnified by the presence of a variety of exotic birds, especially when enjoyed from the treehouse. And let’s not forget the breathtaking sunsets that painted the sky in vibrant hues each evening. In all, this hilltop haven proved to be a truly serene retreat – a genuine home away from home. From the stunning natural surroundings to the cozy accommodations and tasty food. It’s a place that promises solace and rejuvenation for any traveler seeking an escape into the arms of nature.

We had a most amazing stay at Atwood chalet! Yudhister and his lovely family were super welcoming and went out of their way to ensure our needs were met. We were a large family group of 14 with different requirements from age 75 to 7!! We had lovely breakfasts every morning as per our requests and had a lovely bonfire evening as well. The staff also were very courteous and helpful! Yudhister was always available with top local recommendations and tips. The place is in the middle of Coonoor yet isolated enough to be away from the noise and the traffic! A rejuvenating stay for the entire family and of course made new friends for life!! Will stay there again and would strongly recommend guests to choose Atwood, endearing, quaint, cosy and warm! Thanks.

Alex and Beena were more than a host. One of the best Airbnb stays I’ve had. It was like a home away from home. Be it Beena’s welcome breakfast or Alex being the perfect local guide. We couldn’t have asked for more. I would recommend everyone who’s visiting Kollam,Varkala or the nearby places to opt for Alex’s Airbnb. Just like the house, our trip was beautiful because of people like Alex and Beena :)

Me and my family really enjoyed the stay. The peaceful atmosphere and serene surrounding with a lot of space made us felt relaxed and refreshed!

My stay at this place meet up to my expectations. It’s in between the lush green trees and the place is quiet & peaceful would definitely recommend this place for couples and families.

Due to occurrences outside Varghese’s control, the room we had booked with him became unavailable prior to our stay. However, Varghese was extremely helpful in lining up an alternate location for us to stay, sending pictures to make sure we were happy with the change, and covering all our room expenses there.
