Neighbors to the east are an older couple typically there throughout the summer but very quiet. Neighbors to the west usually reside on weekends. Amber's place was awesome for our family getaway. Lots of weed but kids were able to catch some pan fish off dock. Had bonfire. Locals (bait shop) friendly. House decor and everything went with a color scheme and matched making our stay feel high end/modern/clean. Had everything we needed (even birthday candles which we didn't use/need, but bonus points for the thoughtfulness because I've forgotten candles once or twice in the past!). Large yard.

This was an amazing place to stay with family to celebrate a winter holiday weekend. Beautiful, private location that was a quick drive into Minocqua for groceries and anything else you may want. Huge living spaces to gather all together and it was amazing to have full bathrooms in each bedroom. Only slight negatives were one bed that was very sunken in the middle (but thankfully we had a younger adult staying with is whose back could handle it!) and some difficulties figuring out what each light switch did. Overall, it was an incredible place to stay in the winter, with great accommodations for 5 adults, and I can imagine it being an even more incredible place to stay in the summer months to enjoy the small private lake.

We had a great stay here! The house looked and felt newly updated and was thoughtfully done and decorated. We all commented on how comfortable it was and very clean. Leather furniture and new pots and pans were a real plus. When we contacted the host about the broken coffee maker, she replaced it the next day. We were very happy with this spot and it made our getaway to a Packer game even more enjoyable. These are great hosts and if we’re back in the area we’ll try to book again.

Such a cute little cottage and perfect for our girls getaway. We will consider coming back in the future. It’s pretty unassuming when you drive up, but the inside of the house is so cute. We also couldn’t figure out how to turn on the gas fireplace, but that wasn’t a huge deal! Definitely recommend.

It was so cozy, felt like a home away from home, Derek was an awesome host, house was beyond clean, beds were super comfortable, and it had very comfy furniture to relax in. They have done a fantastic job with this oasis on the lake.. I guarantee it will fit anyone’s needs and standards! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the serene setting and breathtaking views of the lake. The cabin itself is beautifully designed and spacious made it feel like a home away from home Britta was an exceptional host—she went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Communication was seamless from the start, and she provided us with helpful recommendations. She clearly cares about her guests and has thought of every detail to make the experience unforgettable. If you're looking for a relaxing, picturesque retreat with a perfect balance of nature and comfort, this cabin is the place to be. We’re already planning our next visit and can't wait to return to Britta’s beautiful lakeside escape! Highly recommend!

This was first time using an Air BnB, and was quite impressed. Our stay went exactly how we planned it. The owner had good communication throughout the process. The driveway was even cleared of snow that day, which says a lot. The lake house was clean, well kept, and obvious that the owner put a lot of time and money into the home. (I am a residential contractor and know good work when I see it). I will almost indefinitely use this place again. Clean, well kept, and had every amenity that one could ask for in the Upper Peninsula, MIchigan. Highly recommended for future guests.

Caitlin’s place was beautiful. The area is very serene and relaxing. The home had all amenities described and more. I especially appreciated all the amenities that were made with kids in mind. We had more than enough space and entertainment options for everyone without even leaving the house. Nearby there is lots to do within 5-30 min drive. Would be a great walking/running area as well. Just note if you go after Oct. 20 some things in the area start closing for the season and most are closed by the 31st. Caitlin was very responsive, helpful, and considerate. She was quick to message back with recommendations and answer questions. We loved our stay at the Toasted Marshmallow!
