Matteo and his team went above and beyond to provide a welcoming and exceptional experience. Vistamar is good vibes every step of the way. Traveling alone, I felt right at home in the room and courtyard, and even extended my stay because this team made everything easy and amicable. From the rooms to the food and offered side quests, everything is done with purpose and care. This crew understands hospitality. 10/10 would stay again.

We had the best 7 nights here. The location is great, just off the main road so it felt secluded yet only 5 minutes to all the restaurants. All the staff, Oli and Emilie were so nice and helpful. Our room was large and had everything we needed. We recommend having their breakfast, it’s great value and good! We felt relaxed throughout, and there is a nice social area by the pool where me made friends with other guests. A nice community feel. We honestly loved it and would like to come again and bring friends. We also adored Emma, their wonderful calm dog ha!

We spent a few nights at Ecocoon, and wow, what an unforgettable experience. Marina and Karl, the hosts, are incredibly kind and welcoming. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home, just surrounded by pure nature, with monkeys, squirrels, and colorful birds all around. 🐒🦜 The place itself is truly unique. Everything is built creatively and with so much love. What they’ve managed to create here in just four years is honestly impressive. The vibe is peaceful, grounded, and full of thoughtful details. You can relax in the sauna, take a refreshing ice bath, or chill out in one of the many cozy spots. My personal favorite was the net under the swing, I could lie there for hours just listening to the jungle sounds. Our room was right next to the pool, super clean and spacious. The staff were really friendly, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook our own meals. Overall a place I would definitely would came back to!

Super easy check in and the lodging was perfect for our overnight stay. Breakfast was delightful. Location is perfectly situated in the old city.

A HIDDEN JEWEL IN THE CONDES! The truth is worth more than what I paid, it is a place so well cared for in details, with such a privileged location (metro nearby, mall, tourist park los dominicos,) and also quiet, safe and without noise!!, and everything looks like new, the common areas with its huge terrace where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets while working, its large kitchen, patios for barbecuing, and with all the toys included (internet, heating, kitchen, TV etc etc). I hesitated to write this review because jewels like these are best kept secret. But credit to those who deserve it!

My stay at the hostel was amazing! The place is super cozy, with a family atmosphere and everything very clean. The location, right in the center of Lagoa, made my tours very easy. Naiara was super attentive and always helpful. I highly recommend and I will certainly return!

This place is super special. Amazing views, beautiful walk to town, fully equipped kitchen, super clean and the comfiest bed. Dominika was so kind and helpful and I loved that she was around. There’s also a family run organic shop across the street for all last minute needs. Only word of caution is bring ear plugs because it faces a main road that can be loud. Other than that I wouldn’t have changed a thing!
