Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in South America

Neatly neat house. Very large. I really liked the price-quality ratio. We were very close to the entrance of the park we had an early tour and we didn't have to drive from home very early because we only had to drive a little bit to the park. I do recommend a 4*4 car. We had 2*4 and missed a 4*4. Monteverde itself is a very nice village. A bit touristy, but after seeing many other not touristy places in Costa Rica at all, I liked that for a while. House was large and has a strikingly beautiful light during the day. We were very satisfied. Also nice was the laundry service that was provided. As a result, we didn't have to go all the way to the village with the laundry. There is a good, large oven in the apartment and a good gas stove so you can cook in the house yourself.

What an absolutely beautiful place to stay! This house is tucked in the jungle with loads of wildlife all around. There are other houses on the property, but they have preserved the gardens and jungle in such a fabulous way that you can’t even see any of the other houses. Felt super private. The plunge pool was absolutely delightful after we returned to the house. There are so many things close by, we especially love La Leyenda pizza restaurant. Which is just a short ride down the street in Playa Chiquita. Tine got back to me very quickly after each text I sent her. We will definitely stay here again!

We left Quinta extremely marvellous! It was a 1 week stay and I can say for sure, 1 week of peace! The place is extremely cozy, clean, beautiful and of an incredible vibe, not to mention the extreme hospitality that Cristina gave us. My tip for the next guests is: talk more with Cristina in addition to check-in or checkout, you will feel all the hospitality that my wife and I feel, in addition to receiving many tips of what to do on the island. Without a doubt we will repeat our stay on our next vacation. AMAZING 🙏🏽🍀♥️

Highly recommend this place to stay in Monteverde! The host was super welcoming when we arrived and was kind throughout. The place is as described with a beautiful view overlooking the mountains which allowed for a peaceful and relaxing place to stay. To note, having a car or using taxi’s is most likely needed to stay here. There wasn’t really any restaurants or places to walk to without driving into the main township.

Organized and clean place, polite receptionists and very good breakfast.

Our adult family of four stayed in both the mango house and the jungle house. Both of these places are fabulous- beautiful jungle surroundings, areas to hang out and observe the beauty, all kinds of fruit to try, an on-site restaurant (try the jackfruit stew!), comfortable beds. The fact that this area has been mindfully reforested was what attracted us to this stay but the experience overall was amazing. We highly recommend!

The guesthouse has a beautiful view. Really beautiful. The location is great, far enough from the crowd, but close to the historic center - you can walk in 5 - 10 minutes. We stayed in the simplest room, but it suited us perfectly. Very clean room, with many hangers and a small closet. There is no work desk, but there is a common area that can be used. Breakfast with juices, fresh fruits and cakes, and other items. They make eggs, if you want. Anyway, it was a great stay.

Simply amazing! The cottage is a true haven in the midst of nature — surrounded by lots of greenery and full of colorful birds that make the atmosphere even more enchanting. The peace and quiet of the place are an invitation to rest and contemplation. The cottage itself is super cozy, well-equipped and provided us with a lot of comfort throughout the stay. Every detail seems to have been thoughtfully designed. Undoubtedly, a special place to recharge. I highly recommend it and I'm already looking forward to coming back!

Olga is absolutely lovely and amazing! The property is stunning and very well staffed. Olga gave us an extremely warm welcome and lined up transportation and activities for us. Our son had a stomach virus while we were there. She and her staff were BEYOND kind, helpful and accommodating. Olga has created a wonderful environment of community with her staff and guests. We cannot say enough good things! She also coordinated a boat tour to the Rosario Islands that was awesome! We would absolutely stay with Olga again, and you should as well!

Jorge was great and made us feel welcome and at home. The location and comfort of the lodge couldn’t have been better. If I ever make it back, I will stay here again.

This place is worth every penny, you get treated like kings and the service is spotless, i higly recommend this place !! The owners are really nice 😊 the beds are comfy and the room and little private pool and backyard area is soooo nice and relaxing

The place is beautiful, cozy and very functional. Vera thought of everything! The chalet is very complete and you can prepare your meal with peace of mind. She is so thoughtful that she already has salt, sugar, coffee powder, spices... things we usually forget to bring, lol. It has all the kitchen utensils. The bed is wonderful, it has plenty of blankets and they are so good that I only used one lol. The view is beautiful, a quiet place. I loved it! Vera is always very attentive and helpful! I highly recommend it and I will definitely come back!

Frana Lodge is a beautiful place, a real authentic hidden gem. The hike to the lodge is a little challenging with your bags, but well worth it! Crossing through the stream is actually refreshing on a hot day and adds to the whole experience of the location. Once you arrive, you can relax in the hammocks, greet the pets, and have a cold beer or a very tasty icy fresh fruit drink. The lodge itself is perfectly clean, offers spectacular views, lots of local trails, and it’s walking distance to Tayrona National Park. Franz took a lot of extra time talking to us about things to do on our short 3 night stay, offering suggestions including a really great local cocoa tour. He also arranged onsite massages. They offer breakfast & delicious dinners for a small fee. The food is 100% fresh and homemade. Lunch is not offered, but you can eat lunch when you’re out during the day nearby. It’s the perfect place to relax & get away. Thank you, Franz & staff.

We had an amazing experience in the accommodation. We were very well received by the family, we felt very comfortable. My daughter even made new friends!! Impeccably clean, organized, decorated and comfortable space. Contact with nature is a distinguishing characteristic of this accommodation. We had the privilege of a magnificent sunset on the property… in addition to the dawn with countless birds singing. It is a quiet place, ideal for resting. We will definitely be back!!

Our two-night stay was very peaceful and deserved much more. The environment is wonderful, very careful with the details and is undoubtedly what we were looking for. A moment of peace, tranquility and connection with nature. Extra points for the quality of the bed and materials, breakfast was a pleasant surprise and the view is impressive.
