Johanna's place is a real oasis. There were many things that made it feel so: sleeping so close to the river, being able to wake up and walk down to the water, cooking in the open kitchen with a view, finding stillness in the garden so easily, practicing movement in the open shala while enjoying all the shades of green, the singing birds, the howling monkeys... Johanna was helpful and responsive in preparation of and during my stay. Her recommendations were spot on. I was also able to take a yoga class with her and other locals, which was really nice. The location is really good too: isolated enough from the busyness, but close to Guadalajara, Nuevo Arenal and Tilaran. This place is a hidden gem, I cannot believe how lucky I was to stumble upon it here. If you're doubting whether to book a stay here, just do it.

A hidden gem among trees and affection We had an unforgettable weekend in this peaceful corner of Panama. From the first moment, Fernando and Mariel welcomed us as if we were old friends. Their warmth, their life stories, and the love with which they have built this space are felt in every corner of the place. The nearby river, the birdsong and the tranquility of the surroundings make this place a true refuge from everyday noise. But what really makes this experience special is the energy they have sown over the years: a mixture of hospitality, simplicity, and soul. More than a place to stay, it's a human experience. We left recharged, with smiles, and with full hearts. Thanks for everything, Fernando and Mariel. This won't be our last meeting.

I had already gone to the chalet in 2017, I loved it. I went again this year (2025) and it's even better. The host is super proactive and easy to communicate with. The cottage is extremely clean and well arranged. It was worth it. I hope I can come back again.

Absolutely incredible house in the cloud forest of the Sierra Nevada mountains. Amazing architecture with breathtaking views of Santa Marta and the Caribbean Sea. If you are looking for a private secluded spot to check out and really enjoy natural surroundings this is definitely the place to go. Short drive to the awesome mountain town of Minca with lots of hiking..great restaurants..and laid back vibe. Esteban was onsite to greet us and overly accommodating. Incredible guy who was there to assist in any way possible. One recommendation..if you are renting a vehicle ensure you have a 4X4 for the last mile up the mountain road to his house. I was able to make it with a smaller suv but have experience in driving those types of conditions so not recommended. You can also park at the base and get a ride up if you prefer. Highly recommend booking this place and will go back!!!

The place is really beautiful, it totally matched the description and photos. Full of green areas, very quiet and with an unforgettable starry sky. Alvaro responded with a very good disposition to all the questions that arose at the time and was very kind. I will definitely go again.

Beautiful place. I came with a visitor to see Pichilemu and thanks to this place, she fell in love with Pichi. Nicolás is very friendly and attentive. Totally recommended, direct access to the beach.

The accommodation is as shown in the photos, the cabin was impeccable, the sliding roof system to see the stars at night is innovative. Jinela is an excellent host, she was always attentive. The food was delicious, the value for money is adequate.

Wow....Rosa's place was more beautiful in person than the pictures could describe it. The cabins were cozy and clean, and I ate every meal at her restaurant, which is on property and provides an outdoor seating area. Loved sitting out there, eating dinner and listening to the rain. This place is in the heart of Upala and the beautiful rainforest. Be aware that the roads to get there are rough, but the sites along the way are undeniably beautiful!

An exceptional place to disconnect, the view is spectacular, the tranquility and air you breathe are totally worth it. Memo was attentive the whole time, always ready with his team to provide us with the best service. It is important to indicate to Memo the conditions of the people to attend as the climb to the Eco Hotel is quite inclined through the mountain and additionally it should be noted that if they are done plans in the reservoir should always be climbed and lowered; In our case we just choose a short plan in the reservoir and the rest we enjoyed it at the cabin.

Wonderful place. The room is comfortable and spacious, the view is beautiful. The place is absolutely quiet, to rest. The food was delicious. David was very kind and in general was always available and willing to help with what we needed. Highly recommended :)

We loved our stay at the Botanical Gardens! It was a unique experience to be immersed in nature, yet still close to town. Waking up to the sight of little monkeys, birds, and other rescued animals was truly special. The gardens are filled with a variety of beautiful plants, flowers, and trees — a true paradise for nature lovers. Everything was just as described, and Denisse was a great host, offering helpful local recommendations and keeping communication smooth throughout. Just a small note for future guests: the accommodation has quite open acoustics, so sounds from the building and nearby rooms carry a bit. Also, access can be tricky during heavy rain, as mototaxis may struggle with the muddy path — something to keep in mind when planning your transport. That said, these were minor aspects of an otherwise wonderful and memorable stay!

Janet was a great host, welcomed us very well and whenever necessary, responded quickly. She was very friendly, helpful and gave us great tips on places, making us feel at home. He was flexible with the check-in and checkout times, which helped us a lot. The accommodation is as described in the photos, very clean, the shower is hot and everything served us very well. The location is excellent, very close to the main street (Caracoles). I recommend it and we would definitely come back!

If we could give more than five stars we would!! This stay was one of the highlights of our trip! The place is absolutely gorgeous and Daniela and her parents are the most amazing people!! They are so good at communicating and making sure you are comfortable enjoying the stay! They made us a delicious dinner and breakfast. We also picked some fresh avocados and grenadillas from their farm. The views were stunning! It’s a great midway point between Cusco and Humantay Lake. Highly recommend!

It was such a unique experience! I loved being up in the air among the trees surrounded by nature! The staff was so helpful and attentive! Delivered everything to the treehouse at my request and were always accessible! It was such a great feeling to be surrounded by nature and at the same time have modern comforts! I got the best of both words! Although I did take advantage and disconnected for a while which was easy to do in the best way! I definitely will be returning and sharing this experience with a guest or two!

The best stay to rest and enjoy with family and friends. It was very easy to get to, the place was very clean, the rooms super well equipped and very comfortable. Fernanda and her team were amazing, they helped us with everything we needed. Super recommended the place, we will definitely be back.

If Melissa and I could give a 10 out of 5 review we would. Jaime and his entire family went above and beyond for us. Let me start by Jaime having his cousin pick us up at the airport. When we arrived we had nothing planned, Jaime sat down with us and went over all the excursions that are picked up right from the property. We chose our activities and it was all organized. We either met them at the dock or in the driveway. The family always made sure we made it away safely. The meals were amazing, large and very accommodating. Altering meals to our preference (I’m vegetarian). When we went to the city, we were provided with a list of places to go. The bed was very comfy, very clean and we woke up to the river every morning. The property was paradise with fruit trees, hammocks and docks to sit and watch the water. We will always think of your place when we think of Peru! Thank you for the amazing stay ! 🇵🇪 🇨🇦

The house was very clean and organized, with everything new and working as advertised. Identical to the photos. Bed linens, blankets, towels and bathrobes available and very clean. Matheus' service was always very cordial and fast. We love our stay.

The dome, the tub and its wooded surroundings are very nice. Carlos and Paulina were great, very helpful and friendly. We were able to use the kitchen to heat our food when we arrived at the venue. All the spaces had air conditioning. It's pet friendly, so we could stay with our pets without any problems! 🐾 The only detail worth mentioning was that the door to our bathroom was somewhat defective (which did not prevent it from working). I totally recommend the place! We'll be back soon for sure! 😁
