Vacation rentals with lake access in South America

Luiz was attentive from the check in until the checkout. Received us kindly and made us feel extremely comfortable. The house is beautiful, just like the ad, with a breathtaking view. All rooms were well equipped and there were ventilators and air conditioning in the rooms. Greatly functioning Internet and 3 TVs, all with streaming access. In addition, Luiz welcomed us with some pampering and excellent indications of what to do in the region. I can't leave out that the house is very well located, a few meters from the best area for bathing in the entire beach. It was an extraordinary stay, I recommend without any doubt.

Sergio was an incredible host! Truly one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve ever had. Proactive, responsive, and kind, Sergio helped us a ton navigating when we didn’t have a proper vehicle and providing us with the most comfortable accommodation in his home. The house is located in the most gorgeous location, with stunning views in every direction. Vic and I hope to return in the summer!

We had an incredible stay at Isabel & Abdiel’s place - it’s spectacular and the pictures do not do it justice. The rooftop terrace is phenomenal, but so are the bedrooms, bathrooms the kitchen and the balconies. You can watch the world pass by on the first floor balcony or enjoy silence and views upstairs. The kitchen has everything you need, and the best part is how amazing Isabel & Abdiel are. They’re beyond thoughtful, accommodating, and just super nice. We can’t wait to come back!

Everything was spectacular, the house is beautiful, super quiet, we loved being surrounded by nature. One of the coolest experiences I've had on airbnb. When we arrived we found the extremely clean house. The very smelling bed and bath games. The house all has a "Grandma's house" aspect which makes it very cozy. The beach is beautiful, with the calm sea and hot water. And the coolest thing is that it's right in front of you. Francisco was yesterday line all the time to assist us. O Caseiro Rafael also very helpful. And I had the pleasure of meeting the wife of Francisco who received us even with pampering. It is well worth hosting!

Casa Colibrí was absolutely peaceful and unforgettable! This lake house in Guatapé has been hands down our favorite stay. The views of the lake were beautiful and swimming in the lake from the dock was a highlight for us and our 2 year old son. Along with Mona the dog, the sweetest pup you’ll ever meet. We were there in rainy season, which was mostly sunny every day with rain in the evenings. So if you’re wondering whether you should come in rainy season, you should! The house itself was cozy, spotless, and fully stocked for a relaxing getaway. The artistic touches make the home one of a kind. We were especially appreciative of the recommendations from our host—we received massages at the house and took an amazing boat ride. Even though it’s tucked away in nature, it was surprisingly easy to get around, with quick access to the town and the famous Piedra del Peñol via motochiva. If you’re looking for a place to experience tranquility, this is the place. We can’t wait to come back!

We absolutely loved our stay! The location was perfect—close to a variety of tours, great places to eat, and local attractions. One of our favorite spots, El Salto (the rope swing), was just a 5-minute walk away! The space itself was cozy, comfortable, and very welcoming. We especially enjoyed spotting hummingbirds around the property and catching views of the volcano on clear days—such a treat! Everything about our stay was incredible. The only small note is that the place provides two body towels, which may be a bit limiting for longer stays. It’s also helpful to bring your own quick-dry towels for excursions, as the provided ones aren’t allowed outside the property. Otherwise, it was a fantastic experience and we’d definitely come back!

The weekend was perfect! Super clean cottage, breathtaking view. In addition, we were warmly welcomed by Robinho and Tigresa, two four-legged companions who made the experience even more special. I recommend it to everyone who seeks a refuge in nature!

The apartment is simply beautiful! Everything is new, well decorated and very comfortable. Guilherme was extremely attentive and kind throughout the stay. The location is excellent, close to Zazá, Garota de Ipanema, Belmont and Gurumê. I highly recommend it! It was the first of many. 😊

Valentin was a great host and his treehouse loft was beautiful. This is in a perfect central location in Puerto Ayora where you can walk to every restaurant or activity you’d like to. We stayed here during the low tourist season and the ecolodge attached was very quiet and peaceful. I imagine it’s a very fun place to stay during busy season!

What a wonderful place! Being able to wake up and see the landscape is undoubtedly a highlight of the stay. The ranch is exactly as shown in the photos, every corner you look at you realize that care was taken. The living room and kitchen environment is spacious, well-ventilated, perfect for relaxing. To prepare our meals we don't miss anything, the kitchen is very complete. The outdoor area is perfect for those who have dogs, as the lawn is perfect and all the landscaping is beautiful. Not to mention being able to pick fruits and spices. This place is a find and we had a great experience. And a very nice point is to have several places in the courtyard where you can sit and enjoy the landscape, or even to set up a table for a coffee. And the communication with the hosts was great, always responding quickly. It's one of those places you feel like coming back to.

This house is very well located near waterfalls, rivers. It's perfect for a family weekend. The place is reserved and elegant. It has a barbecue and wood stove for those who like to cook, which is our case. I'd come back again.

The house is exactly as shown in the photos: beautiful, cozy and very well decorated. The cleanliness was impeccable, everything extremely fragrant and well maintained. The bed and bath linens are of excellent quality, bringing even more comfort. The kitchen is super-equipped, with everything you need to prepare good meals. It's the kind of place to relax, read a good book and cook in peace. The view from above to the lake is simply breathtaking, and it is still possible to go down and contemplate the landscape up close, which makes the experience even more special. We were warmly welcomed by Carol, who presented us with a delicious homemade bread upon arrival, a gesture that made all the difference. I highly recommend this stay. It was very worthwhile and I already want to go back!

It was a truly unique experience to stay in the forest house! Perfect setting for a few peaceful days away, so highly recommended if you’re looking for something a little different and serene!

The place is wonderful, one of the most beautiful landscapes I've ever seen, wherever you look the view is stunning. The house is well equipped, the kitchen has several amenities, coffee maker, air fryer, excellent gas stove (only a microwave is missing), the shower is a spectacle with a lot of pressure, the TVs are huge and the jbl box makes it a movie theater, the internet is also excellent since the cell phone signal does not work nearby! It is worth hiring the breakfast, which is very tasty and plentiful, delivered to the cabin. It also has very powerful air conditioning, so whether it's hot or cold, you can be very comfortable. Perhaps it would be interesting to put blackout curtains in the room because when the sun rises, the light is very strong since the ceiling and walls are made of glass. In short, the place is for those who like silence and peace in nature, the host is very helpful and kind, we liked it so much that we have already made the next reservation!

Our 3-day stay in São Francisco Xavier was simply spectacular! The retreat is magical, a true synonym for peace. The surrounding nature is stunning, with nights full of stars and even shooting stars that made the nights even more special. The fireplace brought an extra charm, creating a cozy and perfect atmosphere to renew your energy. The internet worked very well and I was even able to work in a conference on Monday.
 The hosts, Mariana and Nilson, were extremely helpful, solving all our issues quickly and always with great kindness. Each day was unique, and the experience was so remarkable that we will definitely be back! A trip that will forever remain in our memories.
