Cave vacation rentals in South America

By far the coolest house we’ve stayed in! We loved all the cool rocks, both inside the home and down by the roaring river. The coffee machine was a great plus and the shower was amazing! We walked to Nando’s pizza restaurant and had a very yummy dinner. Robert and his wife were very friendly and provided lots of recommendations.

Gabriela’s place was truly beautiful inside and out. Staying in Igatu was a lovely experience. We felt surrounded by nature. Gabriela and her local contact Neide were easy to get in touch with and helped resolve all issues and questions super quickly. Our only disappointment was that this is not an isolated house. Because windows are often open and there is another rental close by we were woken up by neighbors talking and playing music on multiple occasions. All part of the Brazilian experience- just not what we were expecting.

Simple place, rustic, but cozy, clean, from the bedding to the kitchen utensils. Natural water clean pool. Super quiet place, ideal for those who enjoy nature. 🌳🪴🕷🐜🦎🦟🐸 We were very welcomed by Mr. Francisco, father of the host, who made us super comfortable. We'll definitely be back more often.

Beautiful Suite in Florianópolis! The view is incredible and gorgeous, the room is spacious and the bed is very large and soft! The coffee maker is very nice! We had treats like fruit, cold cuts, breads and stuff in the minibar. The bathroom is very beautiful, with a wonderful view and was made in harmony with the natural rocks, fantastic construction! Gabriela and her husband Júlio welcomed us very well and were always available to help us! Lucimar was always attentive with the stay and giving us directions. We hope to return soon and we highly recommend it to everyone!

The house is even better than the pictures show. At first we were surprised that the place was so isolated and without Internet access, but soon we were completely relaxed and connected with nature, forgetting about the world outside. It's the perfect place to rest and enjoy as a couple. The view is wonderful and at night it is even more special. Comfortable bed, excellent shower, equipped kitchen. Carminha was very friendly and responsive! We loved the experience!

I really like my time at Casa Na Pedra. I have stayed in many Airbnbs and this one is definitely on the list of my favorites for their only location within a stone and how much I felt at home anyway. The surrounding countryside is very beautiful and also has views of small sigis and birds. José was a great host. I recommend renting a car if you want to go to the beach and restaurants etc because the house is right on top of a hill. I would stay again at Casa Na Pedra for sure!

Absolutely lovely place to see the stars and relax. So peaceful but also a good launching point to explore the atacama desert. Casa Pequen was unlike anywhere else I’ve ever been. It was comfortable to sleep there but most importantly staying there is a unique experience we will never forget. I highly recommend booking it.
