Watch the sunset from our favorite view, the Douglas Family Preserve (even closer!). The views from Elings Park just around the corner, boast ocean and mountain view’s. STVR permit # 2374 Hurst cottage is under a mile from both the beach and downtown. It is located on a super quiet residential street, but also a quick walk to a local park, cafes, restaurants, bookstore, and a market. Our cottage is intentionally designed to include (almost) everything you need with lots of small beautiful details. With the warm sunlight and the cool ocean breeze pouring in all at once, our family finds it a wonderful place to relax.

Beachwalk cottage. Hear the waves!

Our cottage was remodeled in 2014 with the highest quality appliances and finishes. You are walking distance to everything in the downtown area. The cottage is best suited for 2 adults or 2 adults with 2 children. The cottage has one dedicated parking spot in the driveway. The parking space is limited so we are not able to accommodate oversized vehicles. There is usually ample street parking after 4 pm and before 11 am.

George’s place was the perfect beach getaway! The house was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The location can't be beat - just a short walk to the beach made it so convenient to enjoy the sand and surf. The host was welcoming and check-in was a breeze. I had a wonderful experience and would absolutely recommend this rental to anyone looking for an amazing beach vacation. Five stars all the way!

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying a few days at Melissa's cottage home. What a perfect place! We felt so comfortable and safe, and little details really added to our visit. I loved how she placed cozy blankets on the porch chairs as well as a thick one by the fireplace heater, where you could sit for a cup of tea and prop your feet up. The bed was so comfortable and warm! She added plants and beautiful art on the walls that really brought life to the space. The kitchen was very clean, with a nice refrigerator and freezer. She had just enough of kitchen gadgets, not too overcrowded with extra stuff. just useful tools. Even though I brought my own tea, I liked how there was a variety there to sample. I ended up leaving one from my own collection that is my favorite for the next guest to enjoy. If you get a chance to be a guest at this sweet place, take it! I found it very peaceful and comfortable!

This place was very cute and met our needs for our time in the area. We had an unexpected departure and the host was gracious and flexible. We appreciated that this location was so close to the beach and also some really cute places to eat. The unit is nestled into the trees and is very quiet. The unit was also clean upon arrival and we didn't have any issues during our time there. We would love to return another day!

Stellar location, quiet. safe and short drive to affluent Downtown Montecito and Westmont College. cottage is cozy but has everything you need and nicely done. Garden space is dreamy and lemon tree was loaded. We enjoyed a quiet glass of wine by the fire pit after college visit. French press, newer washer & dryer and quality soaps in the shower we're touches we appreciated on our long weekend.

I loved this place! I booked it randomly because it was the closest Airbnb to an event I was attending in a neighboring town - not knowing anything about the location or Morro Bay. So, when I pulled up I was shocked by the beautiful location and view. An extremely pleasant surprise. The place itself is great, clean and has great amenities. Walking distance to everything you’d need. The host was also super responsive and nice. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a lovely stay at Tiana's place over the Easter weekend. The location is great with an easy walk down the hill to the town, where there's lots of great restaurants and shops. it's also located on the right side of town to get out easily and explore places like San Luis Obispo. The house is quaint with a very well stocked kitchen, a home away from home. We also enjoyed sitting on the deck out the front in the afternoon sun. The highchair and crib are both very high quality. Overall a nice weekend away, thanks Tiana!

This place is probably one of the best Airbnb’s. My husband and I have stayed in. Everything about it was perfect for a weekend away. The location is literally a five minute drive from downtown Santa Barbara, but it’s also super close to the Douglas preserve and the beach. The house itself was absolutely precious, so cute and clean, and had everything that we needed. And most importantly, it was a great place for our two shepherds. The fact that there is an outdoor patio that is fenced was amazing. The place was clean, super lovely and peaceful. Eliza was also super communicative and responsive , although we didn’t find ourselves needing anything because it was just a perfect Cottage I highly recommend anyone looking to stay in Santa Barbara to stay here. It was absolutely perfect.

This was a great, comfortable space that was well-stocked, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The hosts offered clear communication, and thoughtful touches like a list of restaurants posted by the back door entrance. The bedrooms had little room aside from the beds themselves, but they were very comfortable— having one en suite bathroom and one with a bathroom just steps from its door was great. The living area was small, but functional and cozy. It felt like the hosts chose things like throw blankets and furniture for real living— as if curated from their favorite stays elsewhere— rather than just to be photogenic. Hotel-like touches of shampoo and such made it feel like the guest experience was really valued. The upstairs area was absolutely perfect for kids who can safely climb the steep staircase and anyone wanting a hideaway. The only issues were a slightly musty smell upstairs and a fragrance diffuser in the kitchen that was overpowering. We would definitely stay here again!
