This special retreat is close to everything: beaches, farmer's market stand, shops, the winery, and dinner. We have an awesome enclosed tropical yard with a private entrance and gate code making this seem more like a private retreat with a nice deck for reading and sunning. It is old and has a old house vibe~! It's not for those seeking a new condo! The cottage is the entire bottom floor of a 100 year old beach house so its got lots of character, charm and privacy.

I took a mini road trip with my kids (3, 5, and 8) and they loved the location and the room. Unfortunately the picture didn't match the room. Instead of the 2 futons in the picture there was one couch and 2 chairs. I was planning to have one kid on each couch. We made it work and the kids slept so that is always a win traveling with kids. Great place, just needs updated pictures with furniture change. Very peaceful.

I came here to get away from home for a few days. upon walking in the room it smelt really nice and the room was clean. I loved that there was a table so I was able to do my work and a microwave so I can eat food. overall a nice place and really peaceful. the cleaning ladies when they were next to my room were chatty and I couldn't focus on my work as well but that died down when they left. the breakfast was good however I wish they provided water. I loved the hair shampoo and conditioner they provided us because it didn't seem like a cheap brand. it made my hair feel really soft and smelt really good after using it. this would be a nice stay for a couple. I didn't not get to use the pool or jacuzzi.

Good price for a very clean, easily accessible room right off of I-5. I requested a ground floor room and the manager gave me a free upgrade to a king room to accommodate my request. I was able to park steps from my room. WiFi was down while I was there, but I didn’t need it. Room had a mini fridge and a newer TV than shown in the photos. The manager was friendly and helpful. Things like lampshades and furniture were in iffy shape but the bed was decent, and for the price I was very satisfied.

This location is perfect! Easy walk to the harbor boardwalk with shopping and restaurants. We actually watched a humpback whale in the harbor for an hour! The motel is clean and has a very comfortable bed.
