Had a great stay here, would definitely recommend. Perfect for a couple or small family. Mostly private surroundings. It was nice and quiet during the weekdays and weekend, exactly what we were looking for!

We’re very familiar with the surrounding area and this home is classic to the Russian River vibe. It’s easy to access Jenner Highland preserve, Armstrong woods and river activities. We found the listing to be accurate and very clean. We did not access the small secondary building but appreciated the hot tub. We also were glad we left our dog at home as there is no grass on the property and several stairs to navigate. It would certainly work for some dogs, but not ours was quite large. We did appreciate David’s immediate response to our request to edit our reservation when we decided not to bring our dog; excellent communication!

The sunsets were beautiful. The spa was hot. And the lake was peaceful. Thank you for sharing your sweet cottage.

It was a very cozy stay, nestled in a serene area right near the ocean. I really appreciated the attention to detail and the individual pieces of consideration, including the lovely music that played as we entered the cottage. It really set the tone for such a nice and peaceful stay.

This cottage is a little gem in a desirable part of the city. The upstairs sleeping loft is spacious and well laid out with plenty of closet and drawer space. We loved the thoughtful touches like high-quality coffee, a bottle of wine, extra sheets and towels, and attractive decor and books. Host Johnny was very responsive to our questions about the heating unit and fixed it right away. Not a problem for the physically agile, but guests should be aware that the outdoor side entrance is maybe 24 inches wide, and that the steep loft stairs are necessary to navigate to use the bathroom. Overall, a wonderful stay with a kind and thoughtful host!

The unit was clean, cozy, and right in the heart of incredible nature! The creek is incredible for bird and animal watching, and Colin is a communicative and thorough host. Couldn't recommend more highly!

We had a magical weekend retreat at Jennifer’s Glass House. It was so peaceful, the unique architecture was perfect for taking in the sights and sounds of nature—the view from inside the Glass House was jaw dropping. Jennifer was so sweet, welcoming, and helpful. The bed was supremely comfortable and the bedding had a luxe feel. There were thoughtful places to sit, swing, or lie down throughout the property. While the kitchen is more limited, we were able to cook everything we needed, making food outdoors was divine. The bathrooms were spotless, if a bit of a walk to take in the middle of the night (but no different from other glamping facilities). We were lucky to have the entire Grove area to ourselves so it was especially comfortable as we didn’t have to navigate around other occupants. Loved the pool and hot tub area, a really charming experience. Overall it’s the perfect place for a quiet retreat off-grid, to recharge in an ideal glamping situation. We can’t wait to be back.

Tom was fantastic and the place is quaint and perfect for a small family or couples retreat! Close to the beach, Main Street for shopping and food, and just overall secure and private with great amenities to RELAX!

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We walked to the beach to boogie board, went to the boardwalk and enjoyed the local farmer’s market. The house was amazing and more than we expected. We enjoyed the backyard with all of its amenities including the hot tub and outdoor shower especially after coming back from a day at the beach. Shari was very proactive in her communications and we are looking forward to coming back again for a longer visit.

A friend and I and our daughters had a lovely time staying here. I loved the mix of keeping the historical feel of the house and the tasteful updates the owners have done. We used the provided kayaks and paddle boards to paddle on the river. It is mellow enough that you can paddle up and down without any trouble (at least in mid-June). The neighborhood is quaint and quiet. We used the firepit one night to cook "hobo" dinners and make smores. The spa was also nice. We went to the nearby town of Guerneville to go vintage and antique shopping and eat meals. We also went on a hike near the beach. And nearby Duncan Mills is also a nice place to eat and shop. The nearby Lightwave Cafe is an experience! Definitely recommend a meal there. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely time at Emily’s garden oasis!! It was peaceful and private with stunning gardens covering the property. The beds were cozy and comfortable! Stocked kitchen ready for cooking and BBQing. We loved the walkability to the river! We will be back!

We had a wonderful and comfortable stay at Griffin's in a location so close to Yosemite yet private and serene without any tourist vibe. It was the best place to unwind together each evening and start the day (with coffee on the deck) each morning. Griffin's house is spacious, inviting, and fully equipped. we cooked meals for four each night. The kitchen has everything you need. the bedrooms are huge with plenty of storage, comfortable beds and linens, and plenty of towels. we were grateful to have a full size w-d for laundry and were pleasantly surprised by the. hot tub (a treat!) and ping pong table (evening fun!). Don't miss out on this perfect opportunity to stay in the mountains, close to a grocery store, with a real feeling of home Griffin had everything covered so all we had to do was unpack and unwind!

In a word - delightful! We very much enjoyed the back deck and patio with morning and afternoon sun, a relaxing yard with views of the river, osprey, swallows and even deer. The kitchen was very well equipped with high quality appliances/utensils/cookware/dishware etc for easy mealmaking. Playing records from Adam's collection was memorable & reminiscent. The beds were very comfortable - especially nice with french doors looking out to the back yard and riverscape. The location is easy distance from Monte Rio, Jenner and Guerneville, paddleboarding, beaching, hiking nearby plus nice to walk our dog Lexie in the extended neighborhood. Adam was a great host. We highly recommend Adam's delightful cottage retreat, and look forward to future stays!

A peaceful retreat on a beautiful ranch! This lovely cottage was the perfect getaway: peaceful, private, and surrounded by nature. We especially loved all the birds around the property! The house had everything we needed (and then some), making it feel like a true home away from home. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We’d absolutely love to come back again!

Such an amazing place to stay. Words can't do it justice. Everything within the space is so intentional, the beds, the shelves, the lighting the appliances. I stayed with my family of 7 (4 adults & 2 kids) and it was perfect. Two bathrooms was a huge plus! The washer and dryer were a huge plus and we enjoyed the sauna and the hot tub and had a bbq in the backyard. Can't say how magical and wonderful this place was to be in the middle of the redwoods was just amazing.

Had a wonderful stay at the Beach Bungalow! Clean, stylish, and perfectly located near the pier and harbor. Cozy beds, great amenities, and a welcoming host made the experience even better. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

Beautiful location nestled within a vineyard. Cabin was spotless and spacious. Back patio was peaceful with lush views of a rambling creek and trees. Highly recommend! Also recommend BBQ 152 in Gilroy just 5 miles away.

Zephyr and James were SO kind and lovely. Their place was a beautiful haven. Clean, quaint, charming, and the best getaway for me and my daughter. Nestled in the hillside, it was perfect for a quiet weekend to refresh in central Cal. Everything about it felt so warm and inviting, like a family cottage. The kitchen was well equipped to make food when we didn’t feel like going out for a meal. All around a great find. We didn’t want to leave! Thank you James + Zephyr. :)

Our stay at Linda’s cottage was wonderful! It’s a beautiful setting and everything was above our expectations! We enjoyed the pool, played bocce ball, and the garden areas are gorgeous! It’s a very peaceful and relaxing location. A great place to getaway and rejuvenate! Linda was a very kind and gracious host too! We definitely plan to return to Linda’s cottage in the near future!

Great place to stay , lovely rustic cottage with really good outdoor space . Downtown approx 30 mins away by metro . Quiet and out of the way , just how we like it . Don’t come by metro from airport , it took over 2 hours , got a taxi back to airport , took 1 hour in heavy traffic . It was nice to meet Richard and share some stories of travel and of course Bandit . Contrary to what we had read previous to coming , metro was absolutely fine .

It was our third time staying at Heidi’s cottage and we can’t wait for the fourth time! The cottage is gorgeous and clean, with a rustic feel. The location is perfect for a getaway, you can hear the waves crashing nearby and even seals barking! I appreciate the little touches that the cottage includes to complete a stay, including coffee beans, bath salts, and local travel guides. Book a stay here! You won’t regret it!

Thank you Meg! Wonderful place and a wonderful stay. Super quiet and peaceful. The first thing we did upon arriving was recline on the deck in the gravity chairs with birds chirping us to sleep! Great kitchen and also great local food.

The Cottage was beautiful and located in a beautiful and quiet location. The cottage was filled with all the necessities as well as help guides and pamphlets that made our visit more smooth. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating, I would definitely recommend.
