A newly remodeled guest cabin with a private front yard and a huge private deck overlooking the canyon. A gorgeous 2 person bathroom with double sinks and a spa style shower with a bench and skylight. Raw hard wood ceilings with rustic touches makes this a unique yet comfy space. Just a 2 minute drive from rustic Topanga and 10 minutes from the beaches of Santa Monica and Malibu, we are also directly across the street from Topanga state park, the largest tract of park land in Los Angeles. Trailhead is within walking distance with access to miles of trails of varying difficulty. Red Rock Canyon is also 5 minute drive. Over the ridge to the Valley is 12 minute drive with access to all modern shopping amenities and restaurants. Its really up you. We are a super chill couple with years of airbnb experience as both hosts and guests. Your space is your own private area that is connected to the main house by a short trail. We are always available to help with advice about the area or to just hang out and trade travel stories. Topanga is a special place that has been occupied by native americans for hundreds of years. They chose this area for its lush vegetations, calm winds and dry temperate climate. The moisture comes up the canyon every morning and evening to feed the vegetation. It truly is a mountainous paradise within proximity to all LA has to offer. The people are a laid back mix of musicians, artists and film makers from all over the world. You can literally get lost in the maze of meandering roads and trails that give sight to the eclectic architecture and natural vistas. Everyday the weather is near perfect - you have to experience it yourself to fully understand. A rental car is a must in LA. You can use LYFT or UBER to get to and from the city but it is not as convenient as having your own wheels. A taxi can be taken from LAX or Burbank airports to the cabin. Mountain biking and hiking are great ways to explore the area. Several trails originate near our home and can be taken all the way down to the coast. Topanga Creek Bicycles is just down the street and is one of the coolest bike shops on the west coast. They offer great deals on mountain bike rentals and can give you advice on what trails you should explore for your skill level. The cabin is a guest house on our property with its own parking space. We have 2 driveways so parking is never an issue. The cabin has a kitchen with a fridge, 2 burner range and a microwave. The private deck features a picnic table, a hammock, two lounge chairs and a small propane Weber grill. Available for any help/guidance! And we love to meet our guests but fully respect their privacy. The cabin is a few minutes' drive to Topanga and some great organic restaurants as well as fun shops. Drive to the beach in Malibu or stay in the area and commune with nature on a hike or bike ride. Topanga Creek Bicycles is just down the street and is one of the coolest bike shops on the west coast. They offer great deals on mountain bike rentals and can give you advice on what trails you should explore for your skill level.

The twin beds can be easily configured to a king bed. Price includes a 13% local occupancy tax. Your cottage opens up to the pool area which maybe available during the summer months but not guaranteed as this pool is too deep for kids to stand in. There is also a hot tub open from March to Dec. So the key to open the pool is subject to conversation. The pool is shared with us. No parties please. This is a non smoking property. We love dogs but we can not allow pets brought in. We have a large dog and cats. We kindly ask for slow driving up and down driveway as the animals are slow to move as they own the space. These are accommodations you wont find at a hotel. We are not one, this is our home we are opening to share with you. We are next door most times if you have any questions otherwise we will respect your privacy. The guest house sits on three acres with the main house where the host lives with her husband. It is just one and a half miles to the freeway and town. Four minutes to restaurants and grocery stores. There are chickens, 2 baby gosts, and a rabbit on the property along with cats and a large dog, Jules, who is sure to greet you. The pool will be opened to guests that can swim only as the shallow end is quite deep. Opened when the temperature increases in the summer months. A cold pool is no fun to swim in. The hot tub is open in March to Dec. Contact hosts if plan to use.

The interior blends coastal touches with boho chic, and there are little luxuries like a work space and secluded private outdoor space. I adhere to the CDC cleaning protocols. I use UV C light for added disinfecting and sanitizing of the Studio, and have also added a Dyson air purifying fan and heater to insure you have clean air. This studio is located on the first floor of my three story home. The studio shares the first floor with the garage so you don't have any shared walls. You have two windows, one in the bathroom and a sliding glass door in the bedroom, they bring in light and the sea breeze but have no views. While this studio is private you may hear footsteps above, music drifting in from other parts of the house, and the sounds that come from everyday living. You'll have one parking space available on the right side of the driveway. More free parking is usually available at the end of the street, 15 houses down on panama. During the day there's extra parking at kiddie beach. I live on the two top floors of the house so i'm easily accessible for as much or as little interaction as needed. The setting on a quiet street is only half a block from channel Island harbors Kiddie Beach and 1.5 blocks to Silver Strand Beach, a popular surf spot and vantage point for catching the sunset. Watch for whales and discover a yoga studio, corner market, and salon, all only moments away. Hollywood by the sea has unique sounds too. You'll hear sea lions, boat horns, and on occasion a fog horn. Every morning at 8am you'll hear our national anthem, and at sunset you'll hear taps. You'll have to pay attention or you'll miss it. It's one of many thing I love about this area.

The place was clean, well-designed, and just as described. The host provided a super helpful guidebook that covered everything we needed—from using the shower to local restaurant recs. The remodel and interior design were beautiful, and the location was great with a Sprouts and restaurants nearby. We barely needed to reach out since everything was clearly laid out. It did get a little humid, and ceiling fans would’ve been nice, but the thermostat kept things comfortable. If the price were a bit lower, I’d definitely stay again. Overall, really solid stay

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The house was spotless and it was perfectly located for everything we wanted to do in LA. The neighborhood was very quiet. We had one member of our party arrive in the morning on the day of check in. They allowed her to drop off her luggage and go sightseeing which was so thoughtful and appropriated. When we encountered a small issue during our stay, the TJ were incredibly attentive and responsive. He immediately arranged for a service technician to come out, and the issue was resolved quickly and smoothly. Their prompt communication and care made us feel so well taken care of and safe. Our family (including our two dogs) loved staying at Chip and Monica's place! Unlike generic rentals, their home is full of personal touches that made us feel welcome. The house had everything we needed—well-equipped kitchen, cozy spaces, and great pool accessories. The location was perfect—just a short walk to Old Town La Quinta's shops and restaurants, yet quiet and private. Our dogs enjoyed the fenced yard, and we loved relaxing by the pool. Impeccably clean and thoughtfully designed, this was the ideal family getaway. We'll definitely be back!

We had a great stay! The place was very clean and exactly as advertised. It was incredibly spacious for our group of six, with plenty of room to spread out and relax. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, and the amenities were excellent, especially the pool, which we really enjoyed. The location was also convenient and close to everything we wanted to do. The only minor issue was that it was a bit challenging to cool down the main house with the A/C. That said, the host was amazingly accommodating and communicative throughout our stay, which made a big difference. Overall, a fantastic experience and we’d definitely recommend!

Classic Architecture with Modern Design in City Center

A true five (or six!) star experience. One of the best decorated Airbnb's I've ever stayed in. An older home with character, but renovated to have modern conveniences - high-end kitchen appliances, walk-in showers, and even high-tech toilets. It has a wonderful deck off the kitchen with flowering plants and lots of privacy. Terrific and responsive host who proactively made check-in easy and flexible. Location was fantastic. The neighborhood was great with good restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance. Access to the rest of downtown SF was a breeze with Uber and Waymo (my father is in his 80s so we didn't try public transportation). My father and I loved our stay and it will be at the top of my list the next time I'm in SF. Perhaps the best overall Airbnb I've ever stayed in.

This is not the first time we have stayed at Fernando's lovely house - it's one of our favorite places to stay for a desert getaway! The house is big and airy, we love the feel of the space indoors and out, and always feel right at home here! The saltwater pool and hot tub are such a plus in the desert heat as well. Fernando is easy to communicate with and is always a responsive host. If you love the desert, I would highly recommend staying here!! We will absolutely be back!

Stayed here to attend Stagecoach (10-30min drive to GA event parking depending on time of day). Location was great - bunch of pools, dog friendly, bar/grille on-site (though I didn’t use it, nice to have accessible). Neighbors were cool. Parking gets tight with such a large event (I assume Coachella is even worse) but the host provided good alternative instructions - just reach out (she’s very responsive).
