Beach house vacation rentals in Seattle

Picture this: arrive in Seattle and arrive at your condo for 3 pm check in looking straight at the Public Market sign with signature clock (which fortunately I saw on the last day of my stay at 5:50 am when I thought I set my alarm for 5:30 am but it was set for pm!). Drop our family bags and head down to the Market to find inspiration for dinner tonight. Buy great produce and seafood, two kinds of cool pasta, and a humbow to tide me over, go back up to the condo in 20 steps, welcome a few friends and family who chat and laugh and drink while they help me make dinner. So fresh, so real, so perfect in this condo right by the Market that is decked out in all the things needed to cook a great dinner and enjoy time together while ogling the fabulous Seattle waterfront. And that was just day one. Our host Taylor was easily reachable by text anytime we had a question or issue, and so kind and warm. Even helped us idiots figure out that the living room couch was a bed for our 6’4” son

Overall we had a wonderful stay at Damian’s beach house. You can tell they love it and stay here themselves. We loved all the decorations and thoughtful touches. Damian communicates well and is responsive. Just a heads up that Herron island does not have any stores on it and you take a ferry to get there. Overall the ferry was an easy process. If you have littles I would bring a portable baby gate for the bottom and top stairs like we did. Step stairs that have gaps between stairs. The beds are very firm which was fine for us but just an fyi. They have lots of life jackets, water shoes, towels, spices, appliances, silverware etc. which were very helpful. The pool and hot tub were delightful.

The home is gorgeous. So tranquil and peaceful -- my family took a week-long vacation on Vashon and Brita's was the perfect jumping-off point. The location is super private, the home architecture is extraordinary, and the backyard garden is expansive. If you're looking for a great place to rest and recharge, this is it. There is a lot of great dishware, artistic elements in the home, and incredible views throughout the home, especially in the kitchen and upstairs bedroom.

Perfect home for the needs of our families. We were in town for a football tournament. Pool was fun bonus for the kids. John was very responsive. We’d stay again.

Our stay was an amazing escape and exactly what we needed to get away and relax and even look for a home of our own in the area. Allison was an amazing host going above and beyond with everything from early and late check ins, providing additional info for the area, and generally caring about your stay at her property. She was extremely accommodating and responsive. We absolutely will be back when our house hunt continues or we want to get away again.

We have stayed at many vacation rentals and we all agreed that this rental was one of our best ever. It’s a bit of a drive to get to the grocery store but we prepared and did not want to leave once we got there because the property is so incredibly lovely. The host was very kind and accommodating. The house is very well equipped and so comfortable. We will definitely stay there again and would highly recommend this rental.

Beautiful place to stay with large windows facing the water and incredible views. Enjoyed seeing seals, and the Great Blue Heron exploring the water. Beds were comfy and kitchen well-stocked. Community is very peaceful and quiet and enjoyed many walks/runs on the paths. Would absolutely stay here again!

Debi and Russell truly are super hosts! They welcomed us at check in to walk through the unique amenities like the indoor pool, and had us set up with everything for making s’mores at the fire pit. The robes and slippers were a nice touch that made it extra comfortable. If you want a memorable and fun experience with easy access to a private pool, I highly recommend this place! It was also immaculately clean!

we had another aweso.e stay and felt very welcomed. it was our 2nd time staying there. Michael & his team are awesome with communication and rate them a d the place very high.

Such a wonderful cabin. It was super cozy and was the perfect get-a-way for our fam of 3 + 1 dog. For a place that is dog friendly, you could not tell! It was super tidy and clean and simple. Fished right off the beach, had fires and also appreciated the tv for movies at night and games. It’s in the description, but just make note of the pathway down! It’s well maintained, but if it’s rainy it can be a little slick. It definitely would not deter us from coming back but if you have a hard time mobility wise, it would be trickier! This place is 10/10

We had an amazing stay at this house! The views of the ocean were absolutely stunning—waking up to the calm water in the morning and watching the sunset reflect off the ocean in the evening made the trip unforgettable. The house itself was clean, cozy, and well-stocked with everything we needed. It felt like a peaceful escape, but still close enough to local attractions and restaurants. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a scenic and relaxing getaway!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Anchor Down Inn. The home exceeded expectations, such beautiful views and a comfy, clean and spacious home. The balloons, cake, and flowers for a birthday were such a thoughtful and sweet gesture. We were greeted with a friendly note, wine, and snacks. The hot tub was wonderful and the surprise visit of Seals our first morning was incredible. Rachel was very responsive and helpful if I had any questions, and even let us check in early the day of our arrival. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a private getaway. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely beautiful views from this waterfront home. Plenty of room for our family of 5 plus Nana to spread out enjoying indoor/outdoor living. Well appointed including fun water toys ie paddle boards and kayaks. My husband commented this home being the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. Excellent communication from Mike and Eva. Definitely would stay here again.

Thought it was a very cute home. Had a lot of extra options for family activities (badminton, buckets, corn hole, games ). I chose this home based on the view and it did not disappoint. Enjoyed the beach right behind the house. Beautiful sunsets! 15m away from Langley and 10m away from the ferry. Great spot, perfect for a family of 4. We have two younger kids (12y and 8y). Might have been tighter for older kids.

This quiet and peaceful location offered space for rest, beautiful views and relaxation. The kitchen was well appointed for our holiday stay. We enjoyed the opportunity to have our dog with us for low-tide walks on the beachfront. We saw lots of wildlife including seals, waterfowl, and a few sea lions and eagles. Joanna was a helpful, communicative host. We look forward to returning in warmer weather when we can take advantage of paddling options.

This was our second stay and we had a great time once again. The ability to grab a kayak and walk right out to the water is unbeatable. There were a couple of issues this time (through no fault of the owners/managers) and their immediate communication throughout, assistance with those problems, and attempts to fix them or reimburse just go to show how much they care that we have a great stay. Highly recommended!

The amount of beds and bedrooms were perfect for the bachelorette weekend we planned. The place worked well and was a great place for catching Lyfts into Ballard and Cap Hill for our planned activities. I highly recommend staying here for a big group. The neighborhood felt very residential and was close to the water.

The home was perfect for our needs with grandparents, kiddos, and adults! The home was so inviting, had labels anticipating any question we had, and anticipated the needs of its guests with games for kids, extra blankets for older folks, you name it. Kara was so responsive and thoughtful - when we asked what might be good for younger kiddos, she added a playground to the house manual that we went to two days in a row. We celebrated my mom's birthday there and sounds like dad enjoyed the home so much, he requested we come back to do his. :) Thank you, Kara, for being such a great host!

What a lovely stay at this beautiful home that was perfectly located. Stayed here to celebrate my friends 40th and we had a lovely time beach combing and visiting the winery. The space was very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

The perfect romantic getaway for Valentines weekend! We had a fantastic stay at this charming home by Alki Beach. The place was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was just a short walk to Alki, great restaurants, and views of the city at night. Will definitely be booking again and I highly recommend this place for a getaway weekend in Alki

Gorgeous home, unbeatable views. Our stay was so enjoyable and comfortable, the house was spacious and well apportioned. The beach was fantastic. Amazing neighborhood, both quiet and within walking distance of restaurants. Super responsive hosts and super helpful as we forgot a few items.

Yue’s place offered the perfect staycation we needed! As other reviews have mentioned, the lower level suite is huge and squeaky clean. Even though the listing said no AC, we were sure either the AC was running or it was just naturally cool in the lower level. We were staying when it was 85 degrees in Seattle, but it was super nice and cool in the suite. The fenced patio (not yard as it was reserved for the owner only) was nice for anyone with a pet. Our shih tzu definitely appreciated it. Oh and you literally only need to walk down a block to reach the beach! All in all, what a perfect spot for a nice local getaway!
