Perhaps not as cool as the Bat Cave, but at least this one is available for your Bat Adventure! We spent more than two years drilling, blasting, digging, drinking, thinking, tinkering, crafting and building to create this unique space. We are happy to share it with adventure seekers.
“We were so excited to stay here, and we were not disappointed!!!! The cave is even better than the pictures...and the pictures are amazing!! We thought we’d spend most of our time inside, but the outside area is actually where we spent most of our time! The tiki torches in the outside area were AWESOME and made the experience even cooler!! There’s a beautiful metal door that blocks off the outside portion of the cave to the rest of the world, which we were so happy to see! We were a little concerned the other properties would share the tub and the fire pit at the cave, but it’s very clear that it’s your own space. It made us feel secluded and very happy!! The spa is by far the best part!! We’re not really hot tub people, but we spent the majority of our time in it relaxing! The cave was VERY clean and as soon as we walked in it smelled very fresh and clean. We felt completely safe with their cleaning procedures and weren’t worried at all. There’s also a small restroom outside the cave, near the front door, so it’s easy to pop out of the spa to use the restroom and not drag any water inside. There was nothing we didn’t enjoy about this place!!!”
Hand built granite stone cabin located 4 miles outside of Leavenworth and a million miles away from city life. Picnic area, creek, waterfall, views and a private wood-fire heated hot tub. Stay awhile, memories for a lifetime. Cabin sleeps five in relative comfort. Multiple tent sites for your friends and family. Read the reviews. Visit, then write your own.
“This place was everything we needed and more! Really took you out of the city and into your own private nature getaway. There were sleeping pads on all the bed areas that fit our group just fine and everything was as clean as you would expect for a cabin in the woods. We loved hiking up to the waterfall and using the wood fired hot tub. It takes a while to heat up so start your fire early. We will definitely be back. We loved it here.”
"The Shedd" used to be a shed before our architect got a hold of it and turned it into a retreat for writing, reading, and napping. The 800 sq. ft. guesthouse has a bedroom, bathroom w/ walk-in shower, small kitchen, dining nook, sitting area, desk, wifi, and A/C. Even though it's just a 7-minute walk to the village, our place backs up to the wilderness, with great views of Tumwater Mountain and Icicle Ridge. Best of all, The Shedd has many windows, much fresh air, and lots of natural light.
“We stayed at Tom and Bettina’s s “Shed” and actually got eloped in the back yard. The landscape of the whole property is impeccable and they both were very welcoming. It has everything you need from the bedroom/bathroom and a cozy lounge area to watch tv. Best of all, is the amazing view you get of the mountains when in the bedroom or on the back deck. Couldn’t recommend their place more! Also so close to downtown Leavenworth!”
