Bamboo Garden House in Friendly ~ Private, Modern
This was our second stay at Amy and Jason’s wonderful Airbnb. We love everything about it! It is quiet, extremely nicely designed and very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need if you want to cook and there is a sweet picnic table in a private space where you can eat if the weather is good. Amy and Jason are great communicators and always reply to messages promptly. We will definitely be back!

Welcoming Whitaker 3 Bedroom
Place was really comfortable and convenient to a lot of the activities planned. Thank you.

Bloomberg Park Studio
Very cool space. If you like IKEA you’ll love Gary’s place! Modern, clean, clutter free. We knew the location was a bit out of the area we were visiting but it was nice to come back to the private, wooded deck and have a glass of wine at the bistro table! Toiletries were provided which really makes traveling easier. We didn’t cook but I would have loved to use that cool stove! Would stay again!

Private & Updated Cottage, *4 blocks to UO* A/C
My husband and I spent a wonderful weekend at Kristena’s cottage while visiting our daughter at U of O. The cottage was beautifully decorated, had the coziest bed, and a gorgeous garden with sitting area where we enjoyed our morning coffee. Close to campus, this place is a gem and Kristena is a great host!

Vintage Cottage in Private Setting Near Bike Paths
I had a great stay at Liana’s place. The space was clean & comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and conveniently located. Liana was extremely helpful and kind—when she learned I was visiting Eugene to get a feel for the city and explore a possible move, she offered thoughtful suggestions and support. I’d definitely stay here again!

2 Bd/2.5 Bath Comfortable Condo, 2 Bikes
Allison's AirBNB was great - a little dated, but had everything we needed. All the rooms were clean and Allison allowed us to check in early. Location is great, close to downtown and hiking trails. Kitchen was well stocked and supper clean. Allison gave us some great recommendations for restaurants and things to do. We didn't get a chance to use them, but Allison has 2 bikes with helmets for use as well. The washer and dryer worked well, and all the appliances in the home. There were plenty of outlets by the beds to charge your phone. I would definitely recommend this AirBNB to others. Thank you.

Clean hottub, King Bed, Autzen->3 min, Fenced yard
we had a great stay! Logan was really communicative, the location was great, and we appreciated the layout of the space and the amenities! just a note for non-dog owners (like us): the bottom floor definitely will smell like dog. I knew I was booking a pet-friendly, but the place did have a much stronger dog smell than other pet-friendly AirBnBs we've stayed in (just a note in case that bothers you!). All-in-all, for the price and location, I would definitely stay here again!

Downtown Cottage- Near U of O/Autzen Stadium
I had a fantastic experience staying at this Airbnb! The place was spotless, stylish, and exactly as described in the listing. The host was incredibly responsive and thoughtful, and making sure we had everything we needed. The location was perfect—close to everything but still peaceful and quiet at night.

Ritta's Back-Home Cottage
Ritta’s place is adorable. It is a sweet little cottage that has a totally gorgeous yard and it sits on a gorgeous street. It is close to downtown and offers easy access to all Eugene has to offer. Ritta was prompt at responding to any needs we had and very friendly. I would happily return to Ritta’s place again for another visit.

College Hill Garden Cottage
We loved staying at Jennifer's Airbnb! Clean, the kitchen had everything we needed, and she has a perfect location. Easy to pop over to downtown Eugene or take a quiet walk through the neighborhood. Eugene was in bloom when we visited and Jennifer had taken time to leave fresh clippings in a vase before our arrival - a lovely touch!

Tranquil Forested Cabin with Sauna, Home Gym, & AC
This space was gorgeous, it had everything you need to enjoy the gorgeous outdoors. We would love to stay again!

Serene Modern Studio; Centrally Located in Eugene
Had a great three night stay at Janna’s place while we were in town for HS state track meet. It was so close to many things to do, private, clean and comfy. Janna was very responsive and friendly. Highly recommend!

No-Cleaning-Fee. 4 Comfy Beds. Luxury Hot Tub.
The game room was a huge hit with the family and everyone enjoyed the very nice hot tub as well… It’s summer time so they even had a/c units in the living room, main bedroom and game room/bedroom which made it really nice in this heat… Would definitely stay there again while we were in Eugene. Very peaceful covered patio and nice backyard too…

Cheerful Newly Remodeled Home with Hot Tub
Jacob’s house was clean and conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood near great shops and restaurants. The bed was very spacious & comfortable and the portable AC unit in the bedroom provided comfort as well as white noise. Jacob was quick to respond to my question.

Westside Casita: Bright, Private, Convenient
Diego's space is exceptionally designed to provide all the comforts of home with efficiency and style. It was easy to settle in and take advantage of the amenities including the washer - so helpful! I stayed for four nights and had to spend most of my days working from the space. The living room served as a perfect, quiet and sunny office. I went out on a walks everyday and was grateful for the proximity to the urban parks and beautiful hiking trails. I also had to run errands one day and it seems the location offers easy access to all Eugene's good stuff! I recommend picking up bread at Hideaway Bakery! I am not a fan of urban zones, but Diego's space made my necessary stay in town the best possible experience. Lemon verbana in the front yard and the cedar tree out the back window are especially wonderful. Thank you for a lovely home-away-from-home Diego!

Your guide to Eugene
All About Eugene
Eugene is surrounded by lush forests and greenery and sandwiched between the soaring peaks of the Cascade mountain range and the rugged Pacific coast. The city is famed for its sporting culture, with a world-renowned track and field pedigree and one of the planet’s most successful fitness clothing brands to its name, and a stretch of interconnected riverside parks offer plenty of scope for scenic runs and leisurely walks alike.
The city also has a notable performing arts scene, with standouts including the Eugene Ballet, shows at the Hult Center for the Performing Arts, and free public performances in the park. The thriving student population at the University of Oregon makes for a varied food scene, from cafe pastries to omakase tasting menus. You can also hop around urban wineries, visit producers at nearby Willamette Valley vineyards, and tour some of the state’s signature craft breweries.
The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Eugene
The best time to stay in a Eugene vacation rental is from August to October. The temperature begins to cool to a pleasant fall crispness and there’s a lower chance of precipitation. Winter weather in the region can be changeable, with snow likely at higher elevations and sunny days still a possibility along the coast. Whether you’re planning a hilly hike or some cold weather surfing, you’ll need warm clothing to combat the chilly temperatures at this time of year.
Although temperatures start to rise from around April, spring can be wet, so pack a waterproof jacket. Summer brings balmy temperatures and perfect beach weather. You can join the locals at Baker Beach around 1.5 hours away to soak up the sun or head up into the mountains for a hike in cooler conditions. The Scandinavian Festival in August celebrates the heritage of nearby Junction City offering music, traditional dancing, and a smorgasbord of food offerings.

Spencer Butte and Skinner Butte
Eugene is home to two buttes that offer stunning vistas. Around a 20-minute drive south of the city, Spencer Butte is reached via a trail running over 1.7 miles through vivid evergreen forests, culminating in a dramatic valley landscape. More beginner friendly Skinner Butte involves a shorter, more moderate climb directly above Eugene’s downtown.
McCredie Hot Springs
Around an hour southeast, you’ll find the bubbling spring-fed waters of McCredie Hot Springs, which sit alongside the cold-flowing Salt Creek. A range of depths and fluctuating temperatures — check before you step in, as some pools can be scoldingly hot — create an invigorating experience.
The Museum of Natural and Cultural History
Located on the University of Oregon campus, the Museum of Natural and Cultural History looks back on 300 million years of history in the region. Set in a longhouse-inspired building, exhibits include one of the world’s oldest pairs of shoes, fossils of giant salmon, and artifacts from Oregon’s oldest cultural site, the Paisley Caves.
