5 Stars – A Perfect Stay in Venao Meredith’s place was everything we hoped for and more. The property was beautifully maintained, clean, and perfectly located—just minutes from the beach but tucked away enough to enjoy peace and privacy. Every detail felt thoughtful, from the comfortable bedding to the well-equipped kitchen. Meredith was an excellent host—responsive, helpful, and welcoming. We felt right at home the moment we arrived. Whether you’re here to surf, relax, or explore the area, this is the ideal base. Highly recommended—I’d return in a heartbeat.

Charlie and his nice wife are very open and helpful people. We were greeted with a delicious cake. Charlie took care of my mom during the entire stay. He organized a trip to Iguan Island with a local captain. Charlie's apartment is well equipped. It even has a drinking water dispenser with a filter. It's very clean inside and the pool is a lot of fun. The location is very quiet, and the city center is 7 minutes away on foot.

We had an incredible stay at Casa Azul! The location is perfect with a beautiful pool and the beach right out the door. It’s walkable to the main restaurants and stores, but quiet and private that you can really relax. The house really helped all of us relax and enjoy our time in Venao. Thank you! Will definitely be coming back again!

The house is very cute and spacious. It's clean and has everything you'll need. Good location and a quiet neighborhood that gives a lot of security.

It was a wonderful, peaceful stay about 10 minutes from busy, noisy Las Tablas--because of Carnival. Mario and his family were wonderful, and were incredibly generous in every way to help us get to and from the town, since we did not have a car. The setting in peaceful, calm and relaxing, and it was a wonderful place to return to after a day in the city. I would recommend a car if you choose to stay there.

We had a really good experience at the property, the hosts were always available to us for any problem or malfunction, even when there were malfunctions, a person immediately came to fix them and the hosts wanted to give us the best possible experience, they were very accommodating

Ruben was so easy to work with and the location was perfect. An easy walk to restaurants, the beach and the market. His condo was quiet, the air conditioning was cold and the internet was great for remote work. We’d come Back in a minute

Walter is a great host. He is always responsive and is on top of any issues that may come up. The house is across from the ocean by one street. The access to the beach is just a short stroll. The beach facing the house is wide. At the low tide, you have 400 feet of expansive beach leading to the calm ocean. The fishermen’s pier is only half of a mile walk on the beach; there you will get fresh catch of the day. There are also several small restaurants at the pier where you will get a beer for a dollar, a ceviche for two dollars and a set meal with meat/fish, rice, soup and a small salad for 3.75/4.00 dollars. At the beach, if it is clear, you can watch both sunrise and sunset (the latter is over beach and a small hill). I had a wonderful time at playa Uverito.

Great place to stay. Close to Playa Venao but gives you some peace and quiet away from the crowd. Very nice space all to yourself. Frances was amazing. Fantastic communication the whole time. Would stay again!

Our stay at Clara's in Playa Venao was a streamlined experience from check-in to check-out. The surfing haven of Venao Beach is perfectly captured from the private balcony, where we witnessed spectacular Pacific Ocean sunsets painting the sky in vibrant colors each evening. The sound of rolling waves provided a soothing backdrop throughout our stay. The well-appointed accommodation features an incredibly comfortable king-size bed with premium linens, ensuring peaceful nights of rest after days filled with beach activities and surfing. The modern, fully-equipped kitchen was a highlight, allowing us to prepare fresh local seafood and tropical fruits while saving on dining costs. Having this cooking space was especially valuable given Playa Venao's relatively remote location. The hosts went above and beyond with their hospitality, providing insider tips on the best surf spots, tide times, and local attractions. They helped arrange surf lessons with reputable instructors

We loved our stay! Very comfortable accommodations and great location in Venao. The guidebook had tons of very helpful recommendations. And the kitchen wins hands down for the best stocked airbnb I’ve ever seen! Anything and everything needed to cook a nice meal. Only hiccup we encountered was a temporary internet outage which was overcome by going to Selina (hostel) co-work space. The host was a great communicator and super helpful throughout our stay. We hope to visit again!
