Casa Tucan

This is the most relaxed I have been in years. I’d stay a year if I could afford it. The sounds of nature just make it so easy to drift off to a nice sleep. The outside kitchen was not difficult to work with. Everything I needed was literally right there. The pool is perfect for relaxing in and is private. While I have a child, it was particularly nice to have a kid free atmosphere where you can just relax. There are so many things to do near by and Jim and his wife are lovely. Luna, the pup, is an absolute joy. I already miss it and can’t wait to come back! Thank you for your hospitality and the relaxing weekend. 🫶🏽

Sloth House I- Pool/Beach/Epic Views/Couples

PaulRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had an exceptional time at the Sloth House! We were there for a week and saw Sloths everyday plus so much more wildlife it would be hard to list them all. The place exceeded our expectations - it was like an upscaled cabin on stilts with a lookout tower on the roof that put you high up in the canopy with amazing views. I spent every morning drinking a cup of coffee either on the porch or in the lookout just watching the jungle come alive. Jeff, the host, did an excellent job welcoming us and helping us with local attractions and food recommendations and as first time travelers to CR, that made a huge difference for us. We highly recommend Jeff and the Sloth House for an exciting experience that is more nature oriented!!

This Airbnb in Puerto Viejo was a hidden gem—secure, peaceful, and tucked right in the middle of the jungle. One of the highlights was the nearby trail that led to a beautiful, secluded beach just a short walk away. Waking up to the sound of howler monkeys early in the morning was a wild and unforgettable experience—it really added to the jungle vibe. If you're looking for a nature-immersed stay with beach access and a sense of adventure, this place is a great pick.

Coral Houses: Casita Mono Congo

DavidRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
I loved Diane's place. Great location in Cahuita, safe parking inside the property, outside shower to sand off after the beach. The casita was clean, cozy and nested under the trees. Loved sleeping while sorrounded by the nature in a fresh and safe environment. I could see few dart frogs in the garden every day, a guatusa and native birds. Having a cup of coffee while reading a book in the porch was magical, specially under the rain. Book their casitas if you are looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway while staying close to Playa Negra in Cahuita.
