The place is superb! I loved how easy access was, the house was spotless, and we loved the different spaces. I went as a family and liked that they had some things to play, my son and I took advantage of the space to play tennis and soccer in the green area next to the pool. Communication was excellent and my questions were always answered. Excellent host, super recommended!

These hosts went ABOVE and BEYOND! We accidentally left our passports in the hotel safe in San Jose. When Melissa found out, she offered to coordinate with her relative to pick it up and bring it to Jacó. It was such a lifesaver. She even dropped them off at the restaurant where we were eating at the time. The accommodations were clean and beautiful. The balcony with an ocean view and the sounds of waves crashing was incredible. The pool was fabulous. A woman named Raquel came out to the pool to bring food and drinks that you could order from her café, just around the corner. It was absolutely amazing. The best vacation with my bestie!

We had an amazing stay at the home. Maud was extremely friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had a comfortable stay. Great local recommendations and even helped booked a reservation for my wife’s birthday dinner. We hired Chef Ezequiel to make lunch the first there. Delicious food and would highly recommend. 10/10 Stay and look forward to coming back soon! Book this

Josephine communicated clearly and timely. The condo met my family's need. We needed a place to relax after some days of intense hikes in other regions. The pool was lovely and right outside our door. We watched surfers on the beach though the rough waters and rocky beach did not avail sun-soaking or swimming.

The house and property were as described and expected and we were extremely happy with our stay! We were specifically looking for something outside of the typical tourist spots and Gary’s place did not disappoint. Gary specifically stated that the mosquito population at his house was low and he was absolutely right! Just a few tips and recommendations for other potential visitors. - The kayaks must be taken down the hill to the beach for each use for security reasons. We hesitated to use them until our last day for this reason but we wish we hadn’t. Gary made it very easy and he took them down on his car. It’s an easy paddle to some snorkeling and nice beach areas. You can avoid paying for parking and hauling gear. - there is a public road between the pool area and beach where locals like to park and hang out. Shrubbery gives visual privacy but you may hear music. This did not detract from our stay. Overall we absolutely recommend this house to others.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Karen and Chiri's home. Esterillos Oeste is a charming little village off the beaten path and provides a great "local" experience with charm. At the same time, it is close enough to more populated cities like Jaco and Quepos that we were able to visit by a relatively short car ride during our stay. The home is a short walk to the beach and you can hear the ocean waves from the balcony, which was lovely. Karen and Chiri were welcoming hosts and their restaurant Los Almendros was excellent! We would stay again and would recommend to friends. Thank you!

Our stay here was amazing! Chris and Hollie were extremely responsive throughout our entire stay and provided great recommendations for local restaurants, activities, etc. We highly recommend a 4x4 if available for the drive and enjoyed the scenic views along the trip up the mountain. The house is perfectly designed with modern features and everything you need to ensure you feel right at home. The back porch was incredible for morning coffee and enjoying the views of the beach and jungle, while listening and seeing the wildlife surrounding us. We were extremely comfortable during our stay and enjoyed opening up the doors at night to let the cool ocean breeze pass through. What makes this place extra special is Chris and Hollie. We enjoyed getting to know more about them, the property, their vision for future projects, and you can see their genuine joy for hosting guests. They were readily available when asking questions and made sure we were comfortable. Thank you for a great trip!

Marcel’s place in Jacó was absolutely beautiful and incredibly peaceful! The polished marble floors gave it a luxurious touch, and the private back patio with the serene soaking tub felt like a tropical oasis. The beds were ultra-comfortable, and the high-powered fan made sleeping cool and breezy. We loved the delicious, locally inspired coffee and tea, the fresh, spa-like bathroom soap, and the fully stocked kitchen with high-quality cookware and bottled water. Marcel was a thoughtful, attentive host—check-in was seamless, and he brought fresh towels and refreshed the space midway through our stay. The location was perfect—just a 5-minute walk to town and 8 minutes to the beach. It felt incredibly safe, authentic, and had a charming, local neighborhood vibe. There were great nearby sodas within 0.2 miles for amazing, traditional breakfasts and lunches. We absolutely loved Jacó—vibrant, warm, full of character, and packed with wild, unforgettable nightlife. Can’t wait to return!

This place was perfect for us. Close enough to walk to the Main Street area to eat but far enough away for peace and quiet. It was nice eating breakfast on the porch, listening to the waves crash on the beach. Antonio was always quick to respond to any questions and to give his opinion on stuff to do locally. I would stay here again if we ever get back to CR. Thanks again for letting us stay at your place.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We especially appreciated the small pool—it was perfect for relaxing—and having a washer and dryer made things so convenient during our trip. We truly enjoyed our time here and felt right at home. Highly recommend!

This property is AMAZING! Honestly, the balcony & view alone is worth booking. Coming from a big city, trading in loud city noises to hear the sound of the waves rolling 24/7 alone makes this place completely worthy. CLEAN. Great location. So much to do in nearby areas. This Airbnb is perfect and goes down as a rebooking if I’m ever in Jacó again. I had such an amazing time staying here. Also, the host/co-host were amazing with assisting with private transportation. I was able to get to and from the Airbnb to the airport with ease. Tip: if you plan to have a massage therapist come over, see if the host can get you a code or something for security. Security onsite take their job very seriously which is actually a good thing, but it can be a hassle to have a service being done in the Airbnb. Other than that just book the d*mn place

The house was charming, private and safe. Directions were perfect. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, house is easy access off main highway and located right beside security in a gated community. Host was hyper organised and responsive with directions, instructions online and in hard copy guidebook to facilitate our stay, would recommend without hesitation.

Our family stayed for ten nights as a home base to explore the Pacific side of Costa Rica. The pool was fantastic! I especially enjoyed the bottom pool that doubles as hot tub (when my kids weren't in the upper half splashing the cold water into it). The pool is very large with lots of space for splashing, and there is so much wildlife and bird-watching off of the amazing porch and decks. We were mesmerized by the scarlet macaws that flew by and sometimes roosted nearby. Being in the mountains, you are literally in the clouds. It was other-worldly when they rolled in most afternoons. So cool! Indoors: we utilized the kitchen quite frequently, making dinner every night. Kitchen was well stocked with supplies for cooking. The living area was very comfortable and great for watching TV together in the evening. Bathrooms and bedrooms were well-appointed with what we needed, and the washer/dryer was great to have, as we are light packers and did get muddy some days. Overall a wonderful stay!

Great place to stay! Private entry with security and felt really safe in neighborhood. Would definitely recommend to other guest.
