From start to check-out, a super nice stay! This was my 3rd time staying with the ark hotels and my second time at this location and it was great stay again!! I recommend this location to anyone looking for a clean affordable new accommodation close to jaco and local attractions. The town is a little fishing village and is full of tico life!

Excellent location, steps away from the beach. The room was clean and the beds were very comfy. It was the perfect rest stop before our long drive to Liberia to catch our flight home, but wish we could have stayed at least one more day to enjoy the waves and surrounding area. Great value and wonderful host. Would recommend!

This is room, in addition to the pool, where loud music runs until 10 pm and people are partying ( until 1am) . Luckily it rained from 7pm… then the party was over…😬 I wouldn't have gone to the pool as it wasn't clean and had cloudy water. The room with private bathroom is otherwise super clean and big enough for a few days at the beach which is three minutes away. Bikes can also be borrowed from $15. The staff was super nice! Thanks!

WOW. We were warmly welcomed and the staff catered to our every needs during our stay. The amenities were incredible, the location was paradise, the room was comfortable and cool, the staff was AMAZING. Pairs of macaws flew over us during an early morning swim, parrots serenaded the night while walking the beach at sunset. It was magical. After a week of exploring Costa Rica, it was a perfect end to our trip. They were able to arrange a last minute 90-minute couples massage for my husband and I, which took place under their outdoor pavilion overlooking the beach. Best massage we have ever had. There is not a single thing more I could have asked for. We are already planning our next trip with our family. We had issues with our previous host & ditched our original place needing to find a place minutes before the sun set. We reached out just 30 minutes before we arrived and knew we had made the right choice the minute we talked onto the property. Best decision we made the whole trip.

I was 2 days at Jeff's we chose it as a starting point and end of our trip since it is 2hs from San Jose and the best thing is that you have the beach very close...and it also has restaurants and a market that you can go on foot...the room is as shown in the photos very comfortable and clean, the outdoor kitchen is very good, they were very friendly with us! Thank you for everything!

We stayed here one night and our time was MUCH too short. We are already planning to return for a longer time. It is perfect for a couple or a family and even for a small group. A stay for one night or one month, this place is perfect. A stay for one couple or one family, or for a larger group, this place is perfect. It is an excellent place to enter and leave the country, since it is close to the airport, and it is an excellent place to use as your base as you explore the surrounding area. It is also an excellent place to stay and be relaxed and refreshed. And, the customer service is excellent. Manual is very responsive and helpful and his staff are kind, thoughtful and very good at making guests feel cared for and at home.

I am very grateful for our stay. the place was situated in a beautiful canyon, was a good value with a robust breakfast, access to games and nearby attractions like a wildlife reserve. Dave was friendly and helpful and when we left my 3 year old sons cherished stuffed animal behind he arranged for it to be hand delivered to us 2 hours away at no fee. such amazing service, I'm so grateful. a great place to stop by especially if you have a family, want attached but extra rooms and are flying in or out of SJO

Location, location, location. Marea Brava Hotel and Villas is directly on the beach of the pristine Playa Hermosa. Access to quality surfing, restaurants and tranquil scenery.
