Kid-friendly vacation rentals in San Pedro

The gardens were a wonderfully peaceful respite. It was like taking a vacation while on vacation. The room was great, as described, and even had a dehumidifier available. The property is away from the city (we were able to Uber in and out of the city without too much issue - just a delay in finding a driver one night. We loved exploring and having our morning coffee in the gardens. We didn’t meet Phil, and we weren’t able to get a gate opener for our stay, but it worked out OK with two of us (one to drive the car and the other to get out and operate the gate).

El mejor lugar que hemos visitado en SJ! El lugar estaba nítido cuando llegamos. El check in fue sencillo. Parqueo bajo techo es ideal en estas épocas :de lluvia. El lugar está equipado a la perfección. Tener 1 y 1/2 baños es súper conveniente. Definitivamente se convertirá en nuestro #1 en el Este de SJ.

Great place. Being from the USA, it really made me feel immersed into the costa rica culture, while also feeling safe at home.

Calling this home “little” is not quite accurate, because it is much more spacious than some of the other places we have stayed. The rooms are large and well laid out. The kitchen is a bit informal but it has everything you need. There are ceiling fans and a nice breeze that keep it cool. Lee is a great host who has lived in the neighborhood for many years. He is friendly and helpful. The neighborhood is colorful and full of historical buildings. There are many parks and restaurants nearby. Overall, this home provides great value, and l highly recommend it.

El Alojamiento de Gitza estuvo increíble, era tal y como salía en las fotos, Súper atenta y excelente, no dudaría en volverme a quedar en el espacio de Gitza aparte que la zona bastante genial, Bares, restaurantes, supermercados todo muy cerca en una zona tranquila y estable, Gracias por tan increíble estancia Gitza

Nous avons été séduits par cette magnifique maison au charme ancien. Intérieur décoré simplement et avec goût. La maison a tout le nécessaire. Notez que le parking proposé n’est pas adapté aux grosses voitures. Nous recommandons ce magnifique endroit et y retournerons certainement!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Marcelo’s place. We only stayed a couple of nights. Wishing we had more time there. The place is very nice and well furnished and decorated. Very quiet neighborhood. Lots to do in the area, including dining and shopping. We Will definitely stay again when we are back in town.

Our flight was delayed and Giulio met us in the dead of night and guided us to his place and then his lovely wife made us a late dinner. The view alone is worth staying here! One of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve had!

I would say if you stay for a short time it’s 5 stars a long term stay would likely be 4 stars due to noise. The good Allan was great and responsive. The first day the coffee maker was broken and Allan replaced same day when I told him. It is close to Barrio Escalante and great restaurants and La Cali for nightlife. It’s a great location between San Jose Centro and San Pedro. It’s also close to Parque National that has great location. The building is great, a good gym, small pool, coworking area, laundry room and great bilingual door staff. The not so good, it will be noisy between the train and La Cali it will be loud and need to close the window. The mattress was initially a problem as the springs went directly into my body but figured out the mattress was on the wrong side and after flipping it was a lot better. Overall if you want to be in the heart of the action this is a good place to be. If you want peace and quiet would look at another location.

Nuestra estadía fue excelente, el edificio es realmente muy lindo, muchos lugares para comer alrededor. La atención fue excelente. Conversamos por un check aun más flexible y fue 10/10. Pero como sugerencia deben mejorar la cama, de paso todo bien por más lo pensaría. Muchas muchas gracias !!!

El apartamento estuvo bastante bien y la comunicación fue buena.

Me pareció un lugar increíble por la limpieza, el orden, la seguridad, la privacidad, lo equipado que está el lugar, me pareció perfecto y volvería a ir ya que me sentí muy cómodo y tranquilo, vale completamente la pena ir para relajarse y pasar un rato bonito!

La llegada fue fácil gracias a las instrucciones brindadas. el estacionamiento es bastante cómodo y hay un pequeño parque en frente con árboles que dan buena sombra y máquinas para ejercitarse

Stayed here for 3 days and it was wonderful. This place was clean and secured. There is a gym and other facilities like the pool. The pool is on the top floor and it was amazing (It overlooks San Jose.) The hosts were friendly and easy to get a hold of. Would definitely stay again. Thanks!

Great location for exploring the city. The apartment is compact but well-equipped and clean. Perfect for a short stay!

Me gustó mucho la distribución del apartamento, la terraza es muy linda y la decoración muy agradable. El precio fue inigualable; junto con los administradores pudimos coordinar rápidamente para cambiar unas luces y además coordinar la reposición de una pieza de la puerta del balcón que estaba fallando.

The apartment is beautifully decorated, well appointed, very very clean and in a vibrant and walkable neighborhood. The host is kind and responds quickly.
