Kid-friendly vacation rentals in San José Province

Great place to stay close to the airport. The house was beautifully decorated and spotless. The garden made it feel peaceful and inviting!

We only stayed one night but this was such a neat place! Every corner had something interesting. I found the layout of the space very intriguing and unique! The entire home was extremely clean, well maintained, and beautifully decorated. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. We ate at a local soda nearby for breakfast, Restaurante El Fogoncito Alajuelo and it was incredible. There are plenty of great places to eat nearby, just search on Google Maps! I would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking for a cozy, spacious, unique, and safe place to stay.

Calling this home “little” is not quite accurate, because it is much more spacious than some of the other places we have stayed. The rooms are large and well laid out. The kitchen is a bit informal but it has everything you need. There are ceiling fans and a nice breeze that keep it cool. Lee is a great host who has lived in the neighborhood for many years. He is friendly and helpful. The neighborhood is colorful and full of historical buildings. There are many parks and restaurants nearby. Overall, this home provides great value, and l highly recommend it.

Finca Totoro is jaw dropping!! The pictures show everything but once you pull in, your eyes will pop and youll find yourself saying “oh my god!” Its stunning. Gorgeous layout, gorgeous views, private pool, private jacuzzi, hiking trails, absolutely amazing. I cannot say it enough, this place is a perfect place to relax, enjoy nature, music, your loved one, its super special. The pictures on airbnb do not do Finca Totoro justice. Its remarkable.

Best hosts we have ever had. Very responsive to any issue that came up also had these wonderful decorations that my wife loved and we couldn’t find they went above and beyond and called around to find us the only place that carried them! It is secluded very well maintained and the view is spectacular! Located 30 minute drive from Manuel Antonio and Uvita only 15 minutes from Dominical. It is up in the mountains so rent a 4X4. Wild Rider rentals is cheaper and amazing way better than other rental companies in CR as a pro tip. Thank you so much we will definitely be back!

Magical treehouse in the jungle of Quepos, not a far drive Manuel Antonio Park. Woke up to monkeys on the porch. 10/10 experience and would be thrilled to stay again even better in person!

We really enjoyed the size of the apartment and how well it was kept up. Marcela was very responsive. I just wish we had had more time to explore the neighborhood.

This is apartment was impeccable; the second bed was a fantastic find in a small high-rise studio apartment. The decor is inspired, and the view is second to none. A little loud from the traffic noises, but they tend to slow down about 7 PM. It was nice to have AC so that we could shut the patio door.

The location and the tower were incredible, many options to eat nearby and the pool was very nice. The apartment itself was a little tight for 3 people but very nice and well maintained. The only thing is that there is no air conditioning and it was very hot. The sofa bed was a little uncomfortable but everything else was great!

Stayed in San José for two nights and had a great time here! The room has everything you need, a small kitchen and a very clean bathroom. Also right in the center of San José and in walking distance from great museums and other attractions.

Gabriel is a great host, very proactive and responsive. The surroundings have plenty restaurants and it's easy to get around, and the place itself is very private. Very recommendable.

Awesome apartment, great location! Had an issue where my daughter left her favourite stuffy after checkout and David quickly recovered it and saved the day.

Great spot to rest your head for the night—nice and quiet, and felt very safe. We only stayed one night, but it had everything we needed at a good price. Loved that it had garage parking and was right next to a great supermarket. Super close to the airport too, which made travel easy. Communication was easy with the host, which made everything smooth.

Pictures were just as listed; the private balcony offered wonderful evening views of San Jose. Karil provided an extensive list of various cafes, bars / restaurants, lounges; etc. It was a lively area as we walked about to a bar or restaurant at night. Easy walk to center of San Jose to visit the museums, mercado central, etc. Absolutely loved it

Airbnb messed up the check-in times. It showed different check in times to me and the host. however the hosts were really helpful and let us check in earlier.
