Cabin vacation rentals in San Fernando Valley

The place was clean and cozy. We had a great weekend. The host was very friendly and accommodating. Would love to go back again if we are visiting the area. Highly recommended for anyone looking to stay in Wrightwood

I was expecting at least a little dirt and a spider or two in my cabin but it was spotless! I didn't know composting toilets were capable of being that clean. The kitchen and other buildings were well taken care of and super cute. The love and attention that has gone into creating a beautiful and creative community space is clear. The hosts were really friendly and if I had been more social I'm sure I could have hung out with them all night. My dog was so happy to run around and explore off leash, there was a very friendly farm dog that played with him and plenty of exploring for him to do. The whole space is gorgeous, the art, the environment, and the people. Its the perfect escape from the city, I would love to come back and have more time to explore and hang out with the lovely community that lives there.

The best compliment we could give any home rental is “we would totally return”- and we absolutely would stay at this home again! Such a wonderful welcome for our girls and pup with a handwritten message and treats. Great space and enjoyed the hot tub. So peaceful and relaxing. Thank you so much for the hospitality,

It was a pleasure staying in Max’s BnB, again. Best home made cookies ever. Even made an extra plate of cookies for a birthday we were celebrating. Max could not have been more helpful or responsive. If we return to Wrightwood this will be the only place we stay.

This house is perfect for families with ample space, a closed in backyard and a large kitchen and dining area. Our family of 6 (mom, dad, 3 kids and grandma) stayed for a ski weekend and the location is just a few minutes from Mountain High. It's very convenient. It's also great for pets, as the backyard is big and fenced in. The only issue we had was that the oven wasn't working, but Chuy was super responsive and offered to refund us some money since we had to go out to eat instead of cook what we brought. Otherwise, the kitchen was well stocked and really nice to entertain in. I appreciated how quickly Chuy responded to us, and he was always warm and friendly. This is the second property we have stayed at that is hosted by Chuy and he really does a great job. We will be back!

This cabin was so cozy, so comfortable, so clean. I absolutely fell in love with it so much I’m considering buying a cabin in wrightwood myself!

A friendly and proactive host and a great place to stay at! Close to the ski resort and in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. To be honest the photos do not do the place justice. It is quite a large cabin and despite looking old in the pictures, it gives a very homely and warm atmosphere. Recommend bring warm clothes though as it takes a bit to get the home to feel warm in the winter, but after a while it will warm up. Truly recommend this place!

Erica’s birdhouse was nothing short of amazing! Such a peaceful environment! I absolutely loved how quiet and peaceful it was. You’re surrounded by the most beautiful mountains and hiking trails, yet not too far from everything you need. Erica was an amazing host and very accommodating! Her place made visiting home so much better! I cannot wait to stay there again! That has definitely been one of my favorite properties to stay! Thank you so much Erica! Can’t wait to come back!

We stayed here for 2 days during spring break with our 3 boys. We loved the house!! It’s so cozy, practical and well thought out. The german theme and the quality approach to living made me feel like home, being from the netherlands. We used the sauna and the firepit one night. They loved playing in the back yard. We came in an hour early and Robin made sure we could go in early which was so nice. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us, it’s sehr gemütlich :)

Absolutely loved our night here. Only regret is we couldn’t stay longer! Looking forward to returning sometime. A true gem.

This place is an absolute gem. It has this incredible rustic mid century vibe. The architecture is amazing, I found myself just staring at the wooden beams while sitting inside. There’s very nice sunken living room with an impressive stone fireplace. Everything has been meticulously cared for and is very clean. The beds and lines are comfortable and bathrooms accommodating. The outside grounds are beautiful as well. We really liked all the stone work throughout the property. Our host Jamie was perfect. If you plan on staying in Wrightwood and this property is available, book it!

Forgive me for waxing poetic about this place but it was inspiring and magical. I have always wanted to live on a steep hill with a view and now I know for sure that I do. We saw owls, a red tailed hawk and beautiful songbirds filled the air with their music. The house itself is decorated so beautifully my partner was crying at every turn as some detail popped out. I could not spend enough time on the porch looking out across the little valley of Elysian Heights at historic houses surrounded by green spaces. Exploring the hills and secret staircases satisfied all of our adventurous needs and just over a mile away was s vibrant area of coffee shops filled with artists and more than enough fun little shops to peruse. Karen was a fantastic host responding quickly and assuaging our fears when we got an earthquake alert on our phones. She helped me find a staircase I was looking for and suggested the best vegan restaurants. The only caveat with this place is the stairs, so just be prepared.

I had a wonderful stay in this cozy guesthouse. It’s exactly as described, quaint little kitchen, lovely side yard, and you get to walk past gardening beds to the unit in the back. It’s perfect for 1-2 people and pup friendly! One draw for me was that it’s a nontoxic environment, all organic cleaning products and some organic teas and coffee too. Parvin was a super accommodating host - very responsive and easy to get a hold of. I was having allergies and she offered to swap out my comforter just in case I was allergic to it, and brought me an air purifier as well to make my stay more comfortable. Overall a great stay and I’d recommend it!

We stayed in this cabin the week of Christmas and let me tell you, it was well worth the money. It was very "homey" and had the traditional cabin feel, which we were looking for. We used the gas fireplace daily, it provided a great ambiance. Maribel had a Christmas tree already there and set up, which was great. My dogs loved the freedom of roaming the yard and I felt they were safe as it was fully gated. The were plenty of dishes as we had family come up for Christmas dinner. The cabin had plenty of extra blankets and towels and we were able to do laundry if needed. We walked to town several times and it was about a 5 min or less walk. I would definitely stay here again and may plan to next year! Thank you for making it memorable!!

I highly recommend this cabin to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat in nature! We will come back again.

We chose this cabin because of the proximity to MT High. It was perfect for a two night stay with 5 people. We really loved the 2nd bathroom. Everything was perfect.

We loved this beautiful, family build and carried true generations cabin! You will find there everything you need. Location is really convenient and very close to the restaurants and Mount High Resort. We looking forward to comeback soon to the cabin with our family and friends.

Really kind and thoughtful hosts! I felt like I was staying in a bohemian treehouse dream. It was so clean and well taken care of. Lovely hikes in Elysian Park nearby, and excellent coffee shops just a few blocks away. I'll definitely stay here again! Thank you so much!

My friend and I had a lovely staycation at Rebecca’s place! We appreciated the helpful communication, trail recommendations, and personal touches! I loved sitting on the porch listening to the birds and trees rustling. The outdoor bath was relaxing as well. Highly recommend!

Amazing place that looks even better in person than the pictures. We stayed here with another family, each with a child, and the kids loved the games with the kitchen. Lots of seating, cozy beds, easy check in, and clean bathrooms. Great location close to Mountain High and restaurants, and great price — especially for a long weekend! We would love to come back if available. Thank you for a great stay!
