Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Saint-Augustin

Beautiful house, very bright, in a beautiful environment facing Le Platin beach. We spent the Easter weekend there and enjoyed the view and the customs trail

Carmen is a great host, very responsive, helpful and friendly. Her place is fab, in a great location by the lagoon. As two families we enjoyed the privacy of the ensuite room with separate entrance. Having another ensuite and separate bathroom worked well for us. The main space with a little kitchen area at the back was well used too, opening out onto the terraces with ever changing views of the sea and amazing sunsets. The only issue, out of our host's control, was the bugs - mosquitoes weren't repelled by our repellent or deterred by long clothes, and the gnats and wasps were also persistent during the sunny weather. La Plage restaurant, two doors along, is welcoming for drinks and great seafood. There is an obstacle course and exercise route just along the prom for the kids as well as a baguette machine and another restaurant which rarely seemed to be open! Lidl, E Leclerc and Intermarche are within 10 mins drive. La Rochelle and Cognac within 1 hour. We would happily return.

Very well arranged space with the necessary accessories to feel at home. Quiet & peaceful place. Sébastien is very responsive and gives good tips for activities. The only small negative point (which wouldn't be for everyone); at sunrise, a lot of light from the front door, maybe a little something to improve otherwise it's great. I recommend it and if we come back to the area, we'll be sure to come back ☺️

The house was superb - spacious, smart and very well-equipped in every respect. It has a lovely pool, pool house and poolside lounging area, which our children and grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed. Its location in Saint-Palais-sur-Mer is great, with one beach (Plage du Platin) within easy walking distance and others (Grand Coté, Bureau and Nauzan) just a little further away. There is a good boulangerie (which serves pizzas in the evening) and a seafood supplier just 5 minutes walk away. We would be very happy to stay with Catherine again and thoroughly recommend the house.

There are homes that we love and forget, but at Janick's, it's different, we love, we adore, we appreciate the home, and above all, we don't forget it. The hosting was very warm. The house is extraordinary; it is very well arranged for people with reduced mobility. We were superbly welcomed. Everything was perfect. Janick gave us some great recommendations for visits and restaurants. We highly recommend this host. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to both of you.

We had a pleasant stay with friends, the accommodation is very warm, you feel at home there! The outdoor space is very nice for barbecue evenings! We recommend this house minutes from Royan but quiet from the countryside. Walter is attentive and available before and during the stay!

We had a great time in this pleasant, clean and very well maintained apartment. When we arrived, the accommodation was perfectly clean, well ventilated and it smelled very good. The place is easy to access, secure and easy to find. The location is ideal, with many activities nearby: beach, zoo, restaurants, etc. The host was very responsive and available, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Only small downside: the environment can sometimes be a little noisy depending on the time of day. I highly recommend this apartment for a comfortable and good location!

This is the second time I've come to Valerie's place and it's always a pleasure to stay there. I came for a horseback riding competition at the Royan equestrian center. The accommodation is very well located: 8 min from the competition. Self check-in is a great advantage in my opinion, especially when you don't know your arrival time. The parking space is right next to the entrance to the accommodation, which is very convenient. The sofa bed where you sleep is very good. I slept very well there. The kitchen and bathroom were great! It has everything you need to spend a few quiet days. I will come back without hesitation!:)

Overall we had a nice stay. Apartment located close to all amenities, very appreciable private parking. Bus stop close to the residence. Very pleasant apartment to stay in, very quiet in May. Beautiful walks nearby on the coastal trail. We would recommend it.

Very well guided check-in. The accommodation is conveniently located in the city center of Les Mathes, with many restaurants, shops, and the market (Wednesday and Sunday) a few steps away. The accommodation is clean, well-equipped, and contains all the essentials for a pleasant stay. My two-year-old daughter and I really enjoyed the place. The balcony is a real plus! The underground parking is very convenient and allows you to leave the car safely. We did everything on foot: bike rental, ice cream, beach, etc. Downtown also means a fairly lively neighborhood, early in the morning as well as late at night, depending on the influence. A very nice and pleasant stay, thank you again!

Apartment in a very good location. The layout and decor are great. Everything is done to make you feel good. It was very clean and very well-equipped. Beautiful view of the estuary with a balcony for aperitifs and outdoor dining. Excellent place and if we have to rent again in Royan we will go back.
