After a steep climb, we were rewarded with a mountain panorama and welcomed in a friendly manner on the Berg'k'hof. The atmosphere was totally relaxed and the team was very friendly, not pushy and pleasantly helpful. Our room was comfortably furnished and we immediately felt comfortable. From the courtyard, beautiful day hikes and excursions (Ritzau-Alm, Tischofer Höhle, Kufstein Fortress, ...) are also possible in winter and in the evening you can relax in the courtyard's own jacuzzi or with a social game in the common room (including two lovely cats). We are happy to come back :)

Bergkhof is that one special place where you never want to leave. Everything was amazing. Nice and helpful staff, great food, beautiful surroundings and the hottub with the amazing view over the mountains and stars is a nice extra. Florian, the owner, really knows how to add that something extra to hospitality and making it a special place. You can tell that he really thought about how to make it a place where people can rest but also can connect with other gast. It's a beautiful walk to the place and indeed a little bit hard work as wel, so our advice just don't take to much stuf and enjoy the walk, believe me it's totally worth it! And it is also an advantage, where you can find such a beautiful place that is so quiet because there are no cars? We definitely will be back next year!

Florian’s beautiful hotel is a really unique place, we’re so glad we found it. Yes it takes about 40 mins hike to get there, but this means that your away from the noise of traffic and surrounded by nature and incredible mountain views. It also means you get to meet like minded people who choose to walk to beautiful unspoilt places. Florian is a very kind and welcoming host, who provided us with plenty of info on finding the hotel and the area. We had a gorgeous cozy room and use of a sauna and spring fed, wood fired hot tub. There are so many cosy spaces to relax with wonderful views of the mountains and loads of games to play. The food is excellent and good value for money, even though the breakfast is €12 it is delicious, authentic, plentiful and worth every cent. I will be recommending Florian’s place to a lot of people. Definitely stay here if you can.

Our stay at Florians place was beyond what we could have hoped for. Nature lovers and people looking for a relaxed stay will be so content with the beautiful surroundings, kind staff, fresh and local food and the comforts of a traditional mountain home. It is a decent hike to the place which we would recommend in daylight (although it is so safe) but it is very easy to be found and all the more charming when you check in and sit down with an apple cake and tea. Florian is very kind and hospitable. Highly recommend

Truly a wonderful place, with great landscapes, amazing people and good food. I suggest you line up your schedule as to do the first trail during the day, it can take over an hour easily for beginners from the parking.

We felt very, very comfortable in the house. You can see the attention to detail on every corner ... it is fun to discover the many details! We would love to come back!

Idyllic setting in the Austria mountains, an authentic experience. A beautiful walk up to the hotel, we walked with a 4 year old and a 5 year old. On our walk meet some really interesting people. Walking up to a restaurant in the mountains, a lots of locals walked 2 hrs into the mountains to have dinner and walk back down. It's an Austrian thing... A friendly host. Relaxed, homely stay. I was a bit concerned about the shared bathroom, but it felt more like being at home and having a bathroom outside your bedroom. The bathrooms where modern, stylish and clean. Restaurant food was authentic, though there was a kitchen so you can cook yourself. The bar was great with lots of games and relaxed place to chill. Lots of places to sit and relax throughout the lodge. Recommended, if you are after a authentic experience.

Very clean room in a beautiful house situated in a nice quiet area. I had a great time skiing in Söll and Kitzbühel. Excellent value and I highly recommend.

Silvia was a lovely host and showed great hospitality. She was very concerned of my well-being and helped me in many ways even when she did not have to. Can't recommend enough, the ski buses pass by a short walk away bringing you to the surrounding ski areas.

Theresa’s place was cozy and perfectly located. I was looking for a place to stay and ski without breaking my budget. This place was great because I was just a 20minute bus ride from the ski villages. Theresa was also very kind and helpful, meeting me at the bus stop so I wouldn’t get lost (I don’t speak German) and giving me tips about where to ski. And after a long day on the slopes, she offered me some warm tea. It was lovely.

Nice, quiet room on the outskirts with balcony. Good starting point for hikes. Attention: after 20h possibly no longer accessible by public transport (on foot about 30 minutes to the train station). I felt very well.

A lovely Tyrolean style house in the heart of Soll. Room was clean and tidy and Claire was a great host. Will be returning next year!

Small room with private bathroom (important!) and close to all locations in the village. Easy walk to stores, bus stop and restaurants. Clean, good bed. You can only make coffee in the room. Communication was good. Thanks for a great experience!

Claudia's place is a wonderful stay. Clean, cozy, and charming with a great hostess. A smaller, but comfortable room was available to us as well as her couch to accommodate everyone's sleeping space. She made us an outstanding breakfast both days that was much appreciated. I don't think it is in the listing, but she does have a (very sweet and nice) dog that lives with her in the apartment, so just be aware if you have allergies. She also does not have wifi at her place, but generously offered to let us use her computer if we needed, so just a head's up if you will need internet during your trip.

Excellent listing that well exceeded my expectations! The house has splendid views of the Zahmen Kaiser mountains and the surrounding area is a great place for a relaxing stroll. The room was very comfortable with good amenities; Elke has great aesthetic sense and the house has a beautiful ambience Elke and Peter’s warm hospitality made my trip to Kufstein/Ebbs memorable, with Elke even going out of her way to drive me around alongside handy local tips. Definitely recommended!

My son and I stayed in Elke and Peter’s guest room during a four-day ski trip. They were perfect hosts, very friendly and welcoming - Elke even made us Kaiserschmarrn for dinner one evening! The room is cosy, clean and good value, and guests can also make use of the kitchen. The town has a supermarket, restaurants and bakery, all close by. Highly recommended...

Seldom experienced better or more warm hospitality. Very clean, cozy beds. We also got great tips for skiing and had a nice evening with the hosts.

We are very hospitable to receive by Elke. We were able to have dinner with us in the kitchen / conservatory. The room and facilities were great and slept wonderfully. She was very helpful, recommended to spend the night at Elke.

This hut in the Kaisertal was ideal for us. There is absolute calm up there, in the distance you can hear a stream rushing and the birds singing. Even in winter you can get it nice and warm with the stove. However, it cools down at night, so bring warm clothes. The first bedroom is beautifully designed and there is no window in the second bedroom, you should know that if there are four of you. Florian brought us heavy pieces of luggage, such as the food box, directly to the hut. We often went out to eat in the Bergkhof (10 minutes away). There is mostly regional organic cuisine, very tasty. There are some hiking opportunities, behind in the Kaisertal or up to the Ritzaualm and further to the Naunspitze, and much more. So we will definitely come again. Thanks Florian!

After 45 minutes of intense walking (bring backpacks, no suitcases!), Arriving at the hut in the woods is a real reward. And what a reward! The place is charming, well equipped and isolated just right (it is 5 minutes from Berg k hof, where you can have breakfasts and delicious meals!). Florian is a very responsive and friendly host. We had an unforgettable stay, viele danke !!!

Excellent location, great food, very nice host (with lots of good tips), the hut is nice and charming but there is a bit of a foul smell (perhaps there was a dead animal around?!), we didn't mind it too much as we were out walking most of the time. If you want a bit of adventure and to feel more isolated, the hut is great, if you want a more comfortable stay, get a room in the main building

Our overnight stay at the Bergkhof was super nice! From the hut you can hike very nicely (we definitely recommend the Tischofer cave on the way back). There was a mountain view, great food, a jacuzzi, ... what more could you want? ;-) Very happy again!

A location to die for, in an idyllic mountain lodge. Just wonderful! Take only smallish backpacks and you'll be fine with the climb, at the end of bus route 4 (from Kufstein to Kaisertal Parkplatz).

This place is great value for money. It is a very clean room that comes with a fridge, plates & cuttlery, water cooker & coffee machine (including coffee) and a dishwashing service.

Johann and Helga, have been very warm, friendly and welcoming hosts. Their hospitality goes above and beyond what I expected and their place is very well situated for skiing snowboarding the in the beautiful local area. Their apartment is very cosy, warm and comfortable and everything is cleaned to a high standard. Definitely recommend this place as I had such a great experience staying here.

The stay with Johann was simply gigantic. We have never had a friendlier or more helpful host than him. The room is beautiful and perfect for two people. Thanks to underfloor heating in the bathroom, it was not noticed that the room was in the basement. Fridge, hair dryer and coffee machine made the stay even more enjoyable. Allergy sufferers should know, however, that the cat lives in the house.

A very nice house. The room is on the lower ground floor which we had to ourselves. There is an en-suite shower room and separate toilet. It felt very private as we didn’t need to go through the rest of the family home. Johann was incredibly hospitable, from a welcome drinks of schnapps, to helping us out with directions and letting us borrow an iron.

Nice mountain view! House is exactly as described. Susan is so good to help for the booking. It's around 7mins drive down from the uphill to downtown. Free parking space just in front of the house. We love the quite and peace. ;)

Patrizia’s home is in a fantastic location in Ellmau, right next to some of the slopes. The room has its own key and there are lots of thoughtful touches dotted around. Would recommend to anyone visiting Ellmau to ski or walk, looking for an alternative to hotels and lodges

Our stay at Sandra’s was absolutely perfect! The room is on the smaller side but we didn’t mind at all. There is a private bathroom with a shower and a balcony as well. The view is stunning! Sandra was quick to communicate and made check in/out very easy. She was such a kind host and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Sandras place was the perfect weekend away for my husband and I! Upon our arrival, Sandra was incredibly warm and welcoming, helping us check in and get situated. The room was cozy and clean, and the views were magnificent! We spend the evenings on the porch drinking wine and watching the storms roll over. We enjoyed breakfast at the cottage as well- a beautiful and delicious spread of cheese, meats, fresh baked bread, yogurt, and eggs. It was a relaxing weekend away! We will definitely be back!

The room at Sandra is very clean and you have a great view of the lake and mountains. Sandra herself is very warm and you feel welcome. The breakfast is very detailed and lovingly made. Much more than I expected! For excursions the house is ideal.

Very nice apartment! Fully equipped with underfloor heating. A supermarket is a 2-minute drive from the gondola lift and a 1-minute walk away. Stay was clean on arrival and the kitchen is fully equipped. Please note: high cleaning costs are charged on arrival.

Supernice studio, perfect for 1 person. (or two, if you like coziness). Very clean, nicely decorated, close to the trainstation and village, and on the background the charming sound of cowbells. Nice detail: coffeepads were present for the senseo machine. Would absolutely recommend it.

I had a wonderful stay at Evelyn's small studio apartment, which was perfectly comfortable and safe for me on my skiing holiday. I arrived early by train and took a taxi from Kirchberg station as I had heavy luggage and I knew the house was up the hill, which worked very well and cost 10 Euros. I called Evelyn on the phone and she appeared in an instant to welcome me. As it was early, she allowed me to leave my luggage at the house while apartment was being cleaned. Evelyn showed me around and gave useful directions. I went for a walk round the village and to supermarket, and by the time I returned my apartment was ready with lovely welcome board with my name on directing me to it. The place was spotless with charming touches like a large pack of coffee pads for the coffee machine, which lasted me all week, sweet treat and welcome note. I had a small charming balcony with lovely mountain view. Evelyn came to check on her guests in the evening to make sure they are settling in and are comfortable and was very responsive to any requests. Although I heard people in other apartments occasionally, all of them observed "quiet time after 10pm" rule and my stay was generally peaceful and quiet. Many thanks for wonderful welcome, Evelyn!

We are very positively surprised by this studio. The stay was spotless and fully equipped. The house is within walking distance of the center and has a carport to park the car (snow free). The studio is located in a building with several apartments. You do not suffer from the other guests. The hostess is very friendly and everything has been thought about, from check in to check out. We felt very welcome and highly recommend this stay.

Excellent! Especially the SPA area

Everything perfect from communication to arrival to the end of your stay. We went from here to the Mayrhofener and Zillertal ski areas, where the range was about 30 minutes. We were somewhat disturbed by the school that was staying on the upper floors of the building during our stay. We used to be the same :-) Highly recommended.

Lovely apartments with a wonderful host Adam and his father. Everyone is very friendly, ready to help and quickly resolve current issues. As for the apartments themselves, they are comfortable, everything is there for living. The purpose of our trip is active skiing. We took a car, because it’s more convenient to drive from the apartment. For those who don’t have a car, right in front of the apartments, a bus regularly took skiers to the ski resort. Shops and restaurants in 5 min. drive by car. Great view from the window. I draw the attention of those who love the silence that groups of students studying skating are periodically placed in the guest house, it can be noisy. But this did not bother us, because after active skiing, we quickly fell asleep. In general, I liked everything, I can recommend these apartments! Thank you Adam!

We had a very nice modern room with a great new shower room. The pool could be used at any time and there was a very nice little sauna. Good breakfast and a great location made the stay perfect.

Great stay with Patrizia and her family. Everything was fine. It was clean, the room even a little bigger than expected. Patrizia's room is great for skiing. Two ski bus stops very close. Breakfast in the café around the corner was delicious. In a few minutes you are in the center of Ellmau.

Time out in the mountains. We were allowed to spend a few days in the beautiful yard of Gitti and her family. From the beginning we felt very comfortable there. The location is very nice and quiet. The Wiedersbergerhornbahn can be reached on foot via a beautiful, natural forest path in 10 minutes. Sturdy footwear required. On the mountain, there are no wishes for families with children. The "Alpine Coster" offers pure action. There is also a very nice playground with rope garden, slides, trampolines etc. But you can also find enough peace on the mountain. As a guest in Alpbach you get a guest card. Thus, the journey by gondola and public transport is free. The accommodation is not to be surpassed in comfort. This is ensured by many nice details. The farm products, which Gitti offers separately, are great. The sauna hut is very quaint and unique. The heater is fired with wood. There you can switch off very well. All in all a very nice place.

Our stay at Gitti was just amazing! The Wörgler Hof is super nice, the apartment also and Gitti is very helpful. Just a dream, we can only recommend!

Gitti is a very outstanding host and the property has everything it promises and more! Rest & relaxation are guaranteed and Gitti is full of good tips and ideas. We liked it a lot at Gitti. The accommodation is brand new and very cozy. Our son could play in the yard, feed the chickens and move freely. Gitti is a very warm hostess. The many regulars that she has and who were also super nice. It was a totally family atmosphere. We'll be back!

Perfect place to discover Alpbach.

We had a wonderful and relaxing holiday at Gitti. The view from the balcony is fantastic and the 450 year old farmhouse has a special charm. Our son felt very well too. The highlight for you were the animals in the yard. Unfortunately, the gondola in Alpbach only starts from the beginning / middle of June, so we could not use it. But with the Alpbachcard there are also many great offers. The family offers in the neighboring Reith we especially liked. We arrived and left by public transport. You have to change quite often, but the overall has worked well.

Really highly recommend this liittle hotel. Our room was sparkling clean. The beds were very comfy. All tastefully decorated. Me and my husband went skiing in the nearby mountains which was fantastic. Ski bus stops just up the road from the hotel which made getting to the slopes so easy. Gerry’s ski hire shop which is just across from the hotel was very efficient! Next to the hotel is just the best steak restaurant ate there twice Amazing steaks and great service! Lastly Marcel the main man was fantastic! We will return!!!

Our stay with Marcel was fantastic. The rooms are in a small, very nice hotel. The building has a lodge like feeling with wood touches, but the rooms are modern and immaculate, making for a very comfortable stay. The attached steakhouse is delicious, highly recommended.

Spacious room. Is also a good starting point for hikes in the Kitzbühel area. Independent check in was also possible outside the reception hours.

Our stay at Andrea is always very pleasant. The appartment is spacies and nicely decorated. Everything one could need is there. Communication is excellent and Andrea is wonderful. He has been very helpful, and listens to our requests. We always like to come back. I very recommand this wonderful place and we will gladly come back again.

Me and my husband enjoyed staying at Andrea’s place. The location was great for our skiing trips and it was peaceful and quiet, just what we needed for our holiday. I liked the fact that it was really clean and loved the beautiful morning view of the mountains. Overall really happy with our stay at Andrea’s!
