To your left, you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher – perfect for settling in with a fresh cup of coffee. Before your arrival, we’ll send you all the essential details about the house and the area, so you’ll feel right at home from the start. Important to know: Montenido is a 400-year-old mountain farmhouse, steeped in history and surrounded by nature. Its original character shines through in the creaky wooden floors, slanted walls, and lovingly preserved details. At the same time, it offers everything you need for a relaxing getaway: a modern kitchen, stylish bathrooms, a small wellness area – and above all, peace and quiet. What to bring: warm socks, a love for hands-on experiences, and a spirit for authentic cabin life. The wood stoves are hand-fired, with firewood ready for you. And when snow falls or leaves drift into the pool, it’s all part of the charm – Montenido is a self-catering cabin with soul. 🏡 LIVING & RELAXING Across from the kitchen is the cozy living room – complete with a traditional tiled stove, and a large table for shared moments. It’s a space for gathering, reading, storytelling – all with a view of the mountains. Step outside to the terrace with a grill, perfect for sunny breakfasts or long summer evenings. On the ground floor, you’ll also find two single bedrooms, both with mountain views and direct access to the balcony and garden. A bathroom and separate WC complete the ground floor. 🛌 SLEEP SOUNDLY, WAKE PEACEFULLY Upstairs, three spacious bedrooms await, each with its own en-suite shower and WC – offering privacy even when traveling with a group. Sleep soundly in ultra-cozy box-spring beds. A highlight of the first floor is the large, covered terrace: soak up the morning sun or stargaze at night – year-round. The hallway features another wood stove and a comfy sofa. For those working remotely, there’s a small workspace for digital nomads. ✨ NEED MORE SPACE? THE ATTIC SUITE For groups of 9 or 10, we’re happy to open the attic suite: a generous space with a double bed, living room, large bathroom with a tub (and yes, mountain views while you soak), and access to a private, covered terrace – perfect for your own Montenido moments. 🧖 WELLNESS WITH A VIEW From the ground floor, step into the former stable – now your private wellness area. At the front: a relaxation room with floor-to-ceiling windows framing the mountains. At the back: an infrared sauna, perfect for soothing tired muscles after a day of hiking or skiing. 🌊 NATURAL POOL WITH MOUNTAIN VIEWS From the wellness area, a path leads to the garden and the large natural pool. Measuring 9 x 4 meters and 2 meters deep, it’s perfect for swimming laps or simply plunging into fresh spring water. Since we avoid chemicals entirely, the pool appreciates a little TLC in summer: a quick skim with the net and daily use of the pool robot keep the water clear – so you can enjoy pure nature with a view of the Alps. 🎿 SKIING, SLEDDING & WARMING UP In winter, take advantage of the ski storage with a separate garden entrance: store your gear, warm your boots on the heated racks, and borrow sleds for snowy adventures.

Enjoy beautiful days in the Kaiserhaus with garden & wonderful views of the mountains. A 200-year-old wooden house was demolished nearby and rebuilt next to my house. The new (old) wooden house was restored very ecologically and to the latest standards. The Kaiser lounge was almost only lined with old & new wood - you can still see the old craftsmanship. Nevertheless, modern features such as a projector and Alexa voice control are also installed. Parking is available.
