Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Rur Eifel

I have been there several times as part of a training course and I always find it great.

It was incredibly beautiful! The Eifel, the surroundings simply brilliant, especially since we like to hike, it was perfect for us & a great place to escape the ordinary. The cottage was very comfortably furnished and everything you needed was there. The sauna is a highlight. Absolute recommendation, very friendly hosts and also Alaska welcomed us lovingly every day! We will be happy to come back! 👍☀️

We were very warmly welcomed. Because our weekend was for my 50th birthday, there was a bottle of champagne ready and a box of delicious chocolates. Despite the heat, it was good to stay. Due to the nature, there was plenty of shade and we could just sit outside despite the 37 degrees. For us, it felt like a very luxurious vacation. We enjoyed the delicious products that Hugo and Anne had offered us and we definitely hope to go back again. This was exactly what we needed and we have completely recharged our battery. We had a great time at this place! Everything was clean upon arrival, well-equipped and as advertised. The environment is quiet, pleasant and conveniently located, only 10 minutes from the Spa circuit. Jean-Pierre was very responsive and accommodating, which greatly facilitated our stay. We recommend this listing without a second thought and will be happy to go back!

The house is very nice, several terraces, large, bright, friendly, tastefully decorated, everything you need is available. Located on a hillside with partial lake views. We did not use the existing sauna due to good weather. The landlord was always available and very nice and helpful. Bike/hiking trails, etc. easily accessible. We felt very comfortable immediately and always gladly returned to the house after our activities. Thank you

To describe Elke as a super host is actually an understatement - she is the MEGA host of the universe! An incredibly great and lovely woman, and the apartment is very nice and furnished with attention to detail. Great, quiet location, everything you need, a dream. Beautiful apartment where we did not get all the potential out of our three-day stay. But for us, a perfect length in Monschau.

Monika's place was a dream. More than clean, so it corresponded to the pictures and everything was available as in your own home! One of the best places I've ever been to! I can highly recommend it.

functional clean accommodation (except the TV but on vacation it doesn't matter!) nothing was missing. Kristin helped us find a restaurant for the evening and gave us access to her closed garage with electricity for our bikes. Very pleasant garden and panorama. I recommend it.

Amazing area with great views and historic buildings. Hilde was a great host, very helpful with local tips. The house was very clean and tidy, well fitted and had very comfortable beds. Check in and out was very smooth. Highly recommend.

A fantastic stay with a perfect view! We had a wonderful time in this apartment on the Rursee. The location is simply unbeatable – high on the mountain, many stairs, but the view of the lake is breathtaking and invites you to enjoy it at any time of the day. Whether at breakfast on the balcony or in the evening – the view was a highlight every time. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean, well furnished and equipped with everything you need. Small details, such as wooden spoons or lids for the pan were not there in the small kitchen, but we felt completely comfortable from the first moment. The host was very friendly, easy to reach and did everything to make our stay perfect. We highly recommend this apartment, unless you want to cook for two in the kitchen.

Had a wonderful 3 nights. From the cottage, a beautiful base to go to Monschau, to discover the area by bicycle (for example, climb Hammer Mauer) and 20 minutes drive to Rurberg. We were with a baby and a racing bike. Cottage was perfect for with the baby and the racing bike could be in the garage, so this was also safely stored. Maria is also proactive and very nice in communication. So definitely recommended!

Great place and great location. Very quiet and clean. All beautiful places in the Eifel are easily accessible by car from here. Communication with the host went smoothly and quickly. Clear recommendation for those who enjoy peace and nature.

Spacious apartment and fully furnished as a residential house. Spacious terrace. Location is close to the quiet villa district Marienburg and the Südpark where you can take beautiful walks. The bus connection to the center is fine. Line 132 stops around the corner. 2 min walk. Also handy is the HIT supermarket around the corner. Coffee machine with beans is a winner. A few bottles of drinks and snacks make you feel welcome.

Everything is great, very cozy apartment and optimal as well as very friendly communication!

We stayed at the property for 4 nights. The quiet location and the great view are definitely a plus. We also found the amenities, such as the battery-powered vacuum cleaner, to be perfect. We will be happy to come back again.

Susanne's place is perfect for a stay in Cologne. peaceful neighborhood many nearby businesses. close to the center by public transport or even on foot about 30 to 40 minutes along the Rhine. Susanne is a welcoming and caring host. i highly recommend this listing.

We had an absolutely delightful stay at Marita’s place. It was bigger than we expected and had recently been remodeled in a very tasteful way. Despite the updates, it still had so much character - it felt like staying in a real home rather than a hotel. Marita is easily one of the most outstanding hosts we’ve encountered in our travels. She made us feel right at home, offered helpful recommendations, and seemed genuinely happy to have us there. We also loved staying in a real part of town rather than the more touristic side of Monschau - it made the experience feel more authentic. We can’t speak highly enough of this place and hope we find ourselves back here someday.

Great apartment for up to 4 people. Very spacious. Lovely modern kitchen with everything you would need for a stay. Very clean throughout. Lovely big bedrooms with the option of a travel cot for a small child if required. Big living room area to chill. Lovely quiet village/ hamlet. We were very comfortable here and would happily return and recommend
