It's a fantastic home, with a beautiful location with stunning views. Its interior is spacious and comfortable especially for large families. To put it an inconvenience, I think it needs a bit of maintenance.... painting,plumbing, electricity. In general, everything was fantastic. I would definitely come back.

Good stay overall, Phil and Betty hosted us well. Phil introduced us to his passion for bees and donkeys and hiking. Nice spot for nature lovers. Stay with the host, well separated and independent upstairs apartment with large kitchen and bathroom.

The place is quite large, it has 4 bedrooms, two bathrooms, the kitchen, the dining room and the living room are like a big room. Everything basic is in the house that you could need, everything is clean. The showers have the water fortress quite well, there is space to store clothes. The view of the landscapes in the window is spectacular. The village is very quiet, in the house is only this accommodation, so there are no neighbors. For the baby there was the high chair and the cot. Near the accommodation there are a lot of hiking trails. Surely if you want a quiet break it is the perfect spot.

The stay has been great, the house is very cozy and has all kinds of details, in addition to a pellet stove that goes wonderfully. Ivan was very kind and attentive, we had flexibility to organize our arrival to the house. The location, just over 5 minutes from the city by car, is perfect for staying in a quiet but close location. If I go back to Burgos, it would certainly be the first place I would check availability.

We had a great time, the apartment was very clean and functional. Miren is attentive and available, she added an extra bed for the eighth person.

We had a great stay. First, we felt right at home due to the kindness of Carmen and Pablo Javier. They immediately gave us good tips for the surroundings and were very accessible. The cottage has all the comforts and you feel right at home. The surroundings are beautiful and quiet. In short, a fantastic place with very nice people. If we are ever in the area again, we will book here again. Recommended!!

We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful spacious & comfortable apartment.We loved starting the day with coffee & pastries from the bakery at bottom of the road. The apartment was ideally situated, everything was within walking distance. As mentioned in other reviews the front bedroom does get a bit of noise but we came prepared with ear plugs & it was'nt a problem. I am sure the same applies for most properties in Bilbao as it is full of lively bars etc. If we ever visit Bilbao again we wouldn't hesitate to stay here. We stayed with family for Christmas. The house is perfect for it! Both the heating and the fireplace make the house is warm even in the middle of winter. Samaniego is the perfect village to enjoy a magnificent wine experience. As for Axier's attention, it was wonderful, very easy and comfortable. We won't hesitate to repeat it! It was a very nice and good looking accomodation. The house was clean when we arrived. The neighbours were kind and helpful aswell. Overall a very good place to stay, would recommend!

Perfect stay for a weekend with friends. Playground for the little ones who were very entertaining. Rooms with comfortable mattresses and good cleanliness. Kitchen and wide table where we could perfectly eat all together without the need to take turns. House close to attractions and very quiet and beautiful surroundings. Esther the hostess of the house was very attentive at all times prepared a ginkana for the village and the children were very entertained in search of the treasure. Flexible check out. It was a wonderful stay, the house is not only beautiful but also practical and super well-equipped. There were 11 of us and a baby, and we didn't want for anything. It is also in a quiet place where rest is more than assured. We also appreciate the flexibility Daniel offered us for check-out, a luxury. We hope to be back soon!

A wonderful house full of history and details and details, you can see the affection placed by Quico and Ainhoa in the care of their house. We had a great time as a family, being able to bring together 11 people from three different generations comfortably in the house. Spacious pieces, impeccable spaces, and all the things you might need to be at ease. We take advantage of the most cloudy days to get to know nearby cities such as Pamplona, San Sebastián, Hondarribia and Biarritz, and the sunny days to walk and swim in the Reservoir of Leurza, which is very nice. It was an amazing week, I'm sure no one in our family will forget this trip. Thank you for everything and our affection to Eva and her neighbor Don Jesús. Our little girl is convinced she is her "neighbor grandfather" : )
