Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Basque Country

Nadine and Oscar live very close nearby and we’re very responsive. The accommodation is in a beautiful old bill and the home itself is very old. Therefore don’t expect all mod cons - the heating is through a wood stove. But that added to its charm for us.

It is bigger than the photos, a quiet area to rest but well connected to the entrances to the large roads nearby. Always answered questions we had quickly. Big weekend

Apart from an impressively designed and decorated home and beautiful views from the deck, the location is excellent with many close hikes and great cities and towns nearby. This home and the property are managed with pride by a friendly and helpful owner.

We spent a weekend as a family visiting the area, the house is located just 15 min away from San Sebastian, it is bigger than it looks in the pictures, it was all very clean and has enough of the kitchenware. The instructions of Enara, stupupendas. It has been a pleasure to spend a few days there.

Simply spectacular! The house is very cozy and has all kinds of amenities, it is located in an area with wonderful views and easy access from the road. Close to several greenways and surrounded by nature in its broadest sense. Communication with Ibai and his aunt was very good, very friendly and helpful, undoubtedly an incredible luck to have been able to enjoy 4 days there! I repeat myself, but the house is wonderful, the play area and the fireplace make the stay a wonderful place to enjoy with friends or family. Thank you!!

Wonderful place. We had a small problem because the main room doesn't get completely dark (there are translucent colored mosaics on the ceiling) and our two-year-old daughter, accustomed to total darkness, couldn't take a nap and got up very early in the morning. Something to keep in mind if you're traveling with babies, but for adults, a mask and you're all set! It's not a drawback, it's more that we would have liked to have been informed that it was not possible to completely darken the room. But the truth is that it is one of the most special places where we have stayed and everything was perfect, down to the last detail. Judit, the girl who looked after us, was impeccable to me! Charming and with a lot of knowledge of the area, history and customs. He gave us a lot of recommendations to make the most of our experience, thanks!!

What a fantastic find! A very simple but perfect escape in the countryside, complete with goats, chickens and a few working cats. We spent two lovely weeks in this serene location and didn’t want to leave! Every cell in our bodies was relaxed and recharged. We especially loved the melody of the cow bells as we relaxed in the backyard and the ability to cool off in the lovely dipping pool when the temperatures soared. If you need a complete escape to nature, this is your place! And there are scores of nearby villages and locations to hike and enjoy. We hope to be back again next year—thank you so much for everything!!

We had a great time, the apartment was very clean and functional. Miren is attentive and available, she added an extra bed for the eighth person.

An extremely cozy place where you immediately feel at home – surrounded by magnificent nature and looked after by an extremely warm host.

The apartment was in impeccable condition, everything was taken care of to the maximum detail, it felt like home when you entered. Maria Luisa was wonderful, and attentive to us and any problems we might have at any time, she took great care of us and made our stay very pleasant. The area is very quiet but beautiful. Everything is well connected by train, which is easy to take, and Maria Luisa even got us some cards so we could take the train without any problems. We'll definitely be back.

We had a fantastic stay at Alvaro’s apartment. The location is amazing and it’s a real privilege to experience staying within Hondarribia’s old town. The apartment itself is extremely comfortable inside and the bed is super comfy! A few words for Alvaro who we can’t speak highly enough as a host. Proactive with his communications and prompt with his responses to queries - superb! Alvaro provided us with recommendations throughout to ensure we got the most out of our stay, thank you Alvaro!

We had a great stay. First, we felt right at home due to the kindness of Carmen and Pablo Javier. They immediately gave us good tips for the surroundings and were very accessible. The cottage has all the comforts and you feel right at home. The surroundings are beautiful and quiet. In short, a fantastic place with very nice people. If we are ever in the area again, we will book here again. Recommended!!

We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful spacious & comfortable apartment.We loved starting the day with coffee & pastries from the bakery at bottom of the road. The apartment was ideally situated, everything was within walking distance. As mentioned in other reviews the front bedroom does get a bit of noise but we came prepared with ear plugs & it was'nt a problem. I am sure the same applies for most properties in Bilbao as it is full of lively bars etc. If we ever visit Bilbao again we wouldn't hesitate to stay here. We stayed with family for Christmas. The house is perfect for it! Both the heating and the fireplace make the house is warm even in the middle of winter. Samaniego is the perfect village to enjoy a magnificent wine experience. As for Axier's attention, it was wonderful, very easy and comfortable. We won't hesitate to repeat it! We were extremely pleased with our stay at Iñigo's accommodation. The space was impeccably clean, very well equipped and exactly as described in the listing – or even better! Iñigo was an exemplary host: always available, friendly and very attentive. We feel truly welcome. We highly recommend and look forward to coming back at the next time!

Beautiful house, spacious, 4 beautiful spacious bedrooms including 2 with toilet and bathtubs. Large very well-equipped kitchen. Everything was very clean, from the cleaning to the linens... etc. Very nice garden, with pool (not usable when we were there). We couldn't see Marta in person. but always available and adorable on the phone. On the other hand, the address is complicated to find, or even false (to review the address on the RBNB site) and the longitude/latitude are not enough. Locate beforehand on GPS before arriving. I highly recommend this property

It was a very nice and good looking accomodation. The house was clean when we arrived. The neighbours were kind and helpful aswell. Overall a very good place to stay, would recommend!

The place is exceptionally beautiful. There is nothing I can fault about this place. It's new, well designed, and perfectly comfortable. Host is incredibly responsive, willing to assist and friendly. I recommend this place and this host to everybody. It's a big plus for non Spanish speaking guests

It was a wonderful stay, the house is not only beautiful but also practical and super well-equipped. There were 11 of us and a baby, and we didn't want for anything. It is also in a quiet place where rest is more than assured. We also appreciate the flexibility Daniel offered us for check-out, a luxury. We hope to be back soon!
