Vacation rentals with a pool in Basque Country

Unbeatable! A SPECTACULAR HOUSE and fantastic hosts. Ideal to be with your family. The location is very well connected to go anywhere by car. Mireia was great to us. We recommend it 100%.

Everything was perfect. Spacious, clean and nice accommodation, with a kitchen that has everything you need for cooking. As for the location, the bus stop is 100 meters away and it is also possible to walk to the center of Donostia (45 minutes to the Town Hall). As for the garage, if you have a car larger than a Ssangyong Rodius, it will not fit, but in that case you can use a blue zone parking lot that is right in front of the building. Ana sent us the location of the apartment with clear instructions that made our arrival much easier. Ana, thank you for everything.

An absolutely stunning property, with everything you could possibly need for a home away from home stay. Fantastic pool and pool house as well. Large kitchen/ dining/ living area meant that even with 8 adults staying it never felt crowded. Fresh baked goods left for our arrival as well as complementary toiletries. Tania and her husband were so helpful even arranging an early check in at the last minute. Genuinely is only 15 minutes drive from Bilbao and the beach, although bus stop is only a short walk away. Couple of restaurants in the local town are a short walk away. Comment from a past visitor about security cameras was over exaggerated, there is one camera pointing at the back of the garden and not into or around the house. Also felt very safe as there is the regional police headquarters behind the property 😂(but doesn’t overlook it at all). We will definitely be returning to this property and to beautiful Bilbao.

Beautiful and peaceful town house walking distance to the old town!

What a fantastic find! A very simple but perfect escape in the countryside, complete with goats, chickens and a few working cats. We spent two lovely weeks in this serene location and didn’t want to leave! Every cell in our bodies was relaxed and recharged. We especially loved the melody of the cow bells as we relaxed in the backyard and the ability to cool off in the lovely dipping pool when the temperatures soared. If you need a complete escape to nature, this is your place! And there are scores of nearby villages and locations to hike and enjoy. We hope to be back again next year—thank you so much for everything!!

We thought the villa was perfect for our little girl's weekend! Local taxi firms were very accomodating over text message as we could not speak spanish so we were able to Google translate and message them. (uber doesn't work in this area) The local GoT attractions do require booking to visit - which we did not realise but that was due to our own lack of foresight. The host was amazingly responsive, the water system was running cold and she was there within 20 mins to reset the boiler to get us hot water and to help us understand the cooking system. The villa itself was beautiful and the surrounding area was so beautiful to just sit and enjoy. Plenty of space in the villa and multiple bathroom and showers for larger groups of people. I would mention that having a car is essential to stay here for the local shopping and the check out process of disposing of the bins down the road.

Jabi is an amazing host! The apartment was clean, spacious and the perfect size for family of 5! He left us a basket of fruit and stocked the kitchen with essentials- milk, juice, coffee, olive oil, salt and pepper! He even left us potatoes so I was able to make tortilla de patatas! Communication with Jabi was excellent and was quick to respond to our texts. There were a few restaurants nearby and the beach is less than 5 minutes walk from the apartment. Highly recommend staying here and will definitely come back.

Very cozy Apartment in a bigger building directly at the sea! Very cozy design - we loved to stay there! The view from the kitchen is perfect! We will come back in the future!

The absolute best view with private patio in a charming town. My friend and I stayed here for a week. We walked along the board walk, got churros by the marina, and had charcuterie on the balcony as the sunset. The sound of the ocean was the background to our long talks. Below there are bars, Kebabs, sushi, cafes, sweets and more. It about a 5 minute walk to the BM grocery store. The kitchen was small, but more than adequate for two friends. The three bedrooms and two baths had a nice layout. There is a dining table for 4 which we used to play cards, which we found in a drawer. You cannot beat the view. The view is everything. The town is charming and walkable. We loved it.

The house is close to the beach and downtown, there are also several supermarkets in the area. The house has everything you need, it is spacious and the access to get there is good. The community pool is fine, we went several times and were comfortable. The communication with the host was smooth. Recommended to spend a few days in Castro and get to know the village that is very nice.

Accommodation as described in the listing, attentive host and giving clear instructions for both arrival and departure. It is a residential development on the outskirts of Castro Urdiales, and you can reach the beach in 5 minutes by car. There's an Eroski across the street. One drawback is that the parking is a bit tight for large cars, we had to choose to leave it outside.

Thank you for sharing your cosy chalet. We loved our stay and hope to return one day. The pool was great and we loved our local walks. Our bikes were securely parked which was reassuring. And we really appreciated the use of laundry facilities. We even loved the company of our new dog friend.

The contact with Denise was very pleasant and friendly. The information was always clear and understandable. The apartment was clean, very neat and cozy. The old town was easily within walking distance for us, but there was also a bus right in front of the house. There were also plenty of parking spaces (P & R, but also the "blue" parking spaces could be used for free from 8 pm to 9 am. On weekends and holidays, even all day for free.

Nahi is a great hostess! She accomodated my late arrival and was kind to bring some stuff for my cat. The apartment is spacious and neat, contains all necessary things to make you feel like home. The area is quite and cozy with some local shops and bars nearby. Highly recommend if you want to stay outside of busy city centre, and do not mind exploring Bilbao's surroundings.
