We stayed with family for Christmas. The house is perfect for it! Both the heating and the fireplace make the house is warm even in the middle of winter. Samaniego is the perfect village to enjoy a magnificent wine experience. As for Axier's attention, it was wonderful, very easy and comfortable. We won't hesitate to repeat it! Perfect house for large groups in Rioja Alavesa. Very good location and very quiet area! The perfect bbq txoko to enjoy a good dinner!

The house is in a beautiful setting, a few minutes walk from the town of Otxandio, very well connected by road in any direction. The house is very well furnished, and it is very comfortable for a large group. The rooms were spacious and the garden was very nice. We really enjoyed our stay.

Our stay at this country house was unbeatable! We were a group of friends and we couldn't have chosen better. The house is beautiful, with spectacular views that we fell in love with as soon as we arrived. It is equipped with all the necessary utensils and details, we did not want for anything at all. It is very spacious, comfortable and perfect for groups. The outdoors is also wonderful, ideal for relaxing and enjoying the surroundings. In addition, communication with the host was easy and smooth, always attentive to any questions. The location is perfect, very well connected to the town. We would definitely repeat!

My husband and 3 month old daughter and I had a great time at villas. The views of the vineyards were amazing and we enjoyed sitting out in the large garden or in the living area watching the view. We did the wine tasting which we would highly recommend and also took many recommendations for excellent restaurants nearby in the gorgeous towns and villages. During our stay our villa had a problem with air con whilst it was 34 degrees outside. Everything was done to help us and we were allowed to move villa to one with working air con for the duration of our stay. The views were better than the pictures and overall we had a fantastic stay.

Very rural, a tiny number of houses including the owners, nearby. An orchard - yummy plums - and outside seating. Renovated old house full of character and historic details- nice and cool on a hot day. Really lovely scenery. V. Good local walks. 15 min drive to interesting historic Orduna for supermarket/cafes. 30 mins drive to central Vitoria-Gasteiz (a great small city- Basque, interesting, non touristy). Owners happy to advise eg on local hikes.

We had a great stay at Silvia and Gaston's house. From the first moment, communication with them was impeccable: always attentive, friendly and willing to help us with any questions. The house is super comfortable, the kitchen is very well-equipped, the rooms are very comfortable and the common areas invite you to share good times. Everything was impeccably clean upon arrival, perfect for relaxing. In addition, the location is ideal, close to everything but in a quiet area that allows you to rest. We will definitely be back!

A great choice for a peaceful break in the heart of Rioja. Ana is fantastic - full of tips and a perfect host, who met us at the door for a short tour. The house has bags of character so great to get that from her! Our week at the house was perfect - it was warm, so eating outside, using the 'summer kitchen' just inside was simple. The view of Treviana from the house is beautiful and adds a great sense of location. Worth saying there's no shop or restaurant in the town - so trips will be car based, but Haro and Logrono are amazing, and there are lots of great small towns, supermarkets and bodegas for wine tasting a short drive away. The house is huge - and i think better than the pictures. Its old and full of character and some family possessions, but from the large dusty wine cellar to the huge entry door, its really impressive. Living areas like bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchens were clean and in good condition.

Iker, super attentive and majo. The hostel has a unique floor, a shared garden with a good staircase with railing to go down to it, the pool of the perfect size not to do the goat but cool off. In turn, we have another additional garden with a separate street entrance, with simple climbing wall, hose and snack. We were going well, with music and evidence of the village and without problems, we made noise until 1.30 on the street and a little more inside the house, no problem for the neighbors next door (they didn't tell us anything) the main living room is spacious for group meals. We've had the fortune to coincide with the star rains of August, from the patio, covering the lights and its sensors you can see the sky without light pollution barely, beautiful. The hostel pool is shared with the guests of a cottage from within the village, but we are going no problem for us Repeating if we can.
