In many ways, this apartment echos the grandeur of all who have come before it, while also providing the comfort and simplicity needed by guests who come to visit this incredible city. At the end of the day, you want a peaceful place to think, breathe, and sleep. The beds are perfect, the windows (when closed) keep out the city noise) and the loftiness of the rooms provide space to breathe. I know we will rerun again and again to this very special apartment—unless it is booked because of this review! This is a truly special location.

Our stay was great! Right in the middle of Treversie, exactly as described. You are in the middle of the action, great little shops, restaurants, and bars near by. But as you are in the middle of the action there is noise, not always noticeable, but that depends on the night. We stayed over the weekend to enjoy the food and night life and were very happy. Highly suggest for those looking for a good time. Great little Cafe/Bar in the Piazza. Long Island Cafe check it out.

Emanuele was very communicative and Cristina has good advices for city of Rome. We felt like it was our second home. Owner was always at disposal. We were 2 adults and 3 children. Recommended.

The house was great, very spacious, clean and had everything we needed. We had an issue with the air and one of the toilets when we arrived Maurizio came to the house and took care of the issue. He was very responsive and helpful. The place is very close to Vatican City but it is a little far from other places, however there are buses and train near the house. There are plenty of restaurants and stores near the house. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

We stayed here for 3 nights in May 2025.The location is central to everything and lots of shopping and restaurants close by. The large outdoor patio was a great spot to rest and relax at the end of a busy walking day. The beds were comfortable. Apartment was clean. The hosts were very flexible in allowing us to store our luggage a few hours before check in time. We would definitely stay here again should we visit Rome !

Este apartamento fue perfecto para nuestra visita a Roma. La zona es tranquila y nos sentimos seguros. Puedes caminar tranquilamente a sitios turísticos y hay una estación de metro cercana. El lugar es muy bonito y agradable, te sientes en casa. Todo funcionaba perfecto.

Arriving at Francesca’s felt like a warm hug. She had left food and drinks for our family to create ease on arrival. The apartment is compact with a spacious main bedroom and we loved the small terrace. Great location to access sights on foot. Thank you Francesca!

Excellent penthouse apartment, beautifully furnished with an amazing large terrace that offers peaceful rooftop views over Rome. The location is perfect for exploring the Colosseum area as it’s only a 5 min walk. The apartment is also beside the Cavour underground train station which makes connections and travel around Rome really simple. We will certainly like to book again next time we visit Rome. Alberto and the host team is extremely responsive and helpful making the experience seamless.

I often travel and usually book apartments through Airbnb. Most of the time it’s just fine. But this time in Rome, staying at Franco’s apartment — it was much more than just fine. It was absolutely wonderful! The apartment is very comfortable, and it’s simply a pleasure to be in. The bed is excellent, and the location couldn’t be better — a quiet street, yet only a 10-minute walk from the Vatican. Franco has thought of absolutely everything in the apartment. It’s spotless, well-equipped, and has a lovely atmosphere. And Franco himself is the perfect host — warm, patient, and welcoming. He even met us late at night and explained everything clearly. Nearby, there’s a fantastic local market with fresh produce — fruits, vegetables, cheese, bread — everything you might need. It’s a real pleasure to shop there. There are also many trattorias and restaurants within walking distance — not touristy ones, but the kind locals go to. Public transport is also very convenient — both metro and bus

This is the best AirBnB I’ve ever stayed at! Valentina is a fantastic communicator and resource, the apartment is spacious and in a great area away from the city centre but very close to easy transit, it is clean and bright and comfy. And it is extremely well-stocked with everything one might need, which is very helpful for longer stays. I was in Rome for two weeks and Valentina also cleaned the apartment in the middle of my trip. This will be the first place I check on next time I visit Rome!

It was absolutely sublime, provided one doesn’t have trouble climbing stairs and is not carrying heavy luggage…that said, Francesco very kindly & gallantly carried my suitcase for me…I was there during fabulous sunny weather so the loft with it’s partly glass roof and terrace could not have been more appreciated!

What a lovely find - very peaceful and beautiful apartment with lots of space and a well stocked kitchen for cooking - felt like a home we loved staying here. Great terrace area and very comfortable beds ! 5 min walk to the train station so easy access to central Rome and Vatican City is walkable . Nice market nearby and a Carrafour for shopping. Easy instructions for access and a lift to 4th floor. Easy to get to Travastere for an evening out where there a Lee better places to eat - highly recommend this apartment

The apartment had everything we needed. Self check-in was super easy and convenient. Loved that the basics for cooking were provided, and it was a real bonus to find coffee stocked as well. The connection to the city center was excellent — the bus stop was right around the corner. Alessio was always reachable and responded quickly. Very recommendable!

Z pobytu u Livii jestem bardzo zadowolona. Mieszkanie było zgodne z opisem: przestronne, gustownie umeblowane, z dużym i bardzo wygodnym łóżkiem. Do wyłącznej dyspozycji gości jest duży taras ze stołem i krzesłami. Często z niego korzystaliśmy pijąc kawę lub wino. Czystość w mieszkaniu i łazience idealna 5/5. Aneks kuchenny wyposażony we wszystkie niezbędne naczynia, przybory kuchenne oraz oliwa i inne przyprawy. Livia przygotowała poczęstunek. Zostawiła też wodę w lodówce, masło oraz do wyboru zestawy herbat i kawę. Livia jest bardzo sympatyczna i gościnna. Miło zostaliśmy przez nią przywitani. Poleciła nam ciekawe miejsca do zobaczenia, przygotowała specjalnie dla gości informator i mapę miasta. Od razu zarezerwowała na wieczór dla nas stolik w restauracji. To bardzo miłe. Kontakt z Livią był doskonały. Reaguje na wszystkie pytania i ewentualne prośby. Dziękuję Livio za Twoją gościnność :)

Fabio was a fantastic host and his home was exactly as described. We had a very comfortable stay near the Vatican, public transportation was nearby and the local restaurants in the area were also great. Fabio showed us the local train maps and which stations to get off at which helped a lot for a new visitor. couldn't be happier with our stay!

Amazing place very close to Rome. Feels like the middle of the countryside, there are even chickens running about. Quiet and peaceful, yet only walking distance from restaurants and shops. There is a tennis clubs and gym just up the road, too. Easy access to via Appia Antica and to Rome city centre. Very friendly host

We had a great stay at Stefano’s place! The apartment was perfect in every way. Upon arrival, we were able to immediately get settled and begin relaxing in the outdoor space (with sweeping views of the city). The multiple seating areas were excellent, and we loved taking advantage of the hot tub. Such an awesome way to relax after sightseeing all day. The indoor spaces were also very comfortable and functional. The two bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect, and the living room, dining room, and kitchen were great for our needs. The location is close to restaurants, shops, and more. Highly recommend this place for a couple, family, or even a single traveler. We hope to return!

The interior is very warm and all amenities are new. I would say jimmy is a great and super helpful host. He provides clear check in instructions and many good recommendations on food and places to visit. Such a pleasant experience.

Alex was an ideal host. Met us on arrival and showed us around. He was always available via messages if required. The house was fantastic and the gardens and pool were beautiful. The pool is quite deep with a diving board. We decided not to rent a car and taxis were quite expensive so we relied on buses and the metro to get around. A metro bus ticket is 1.50 euros which gives you 100 minutes of travel on the bus and metro ( only one metro ride per ticket ). There are 3 big supermarkets including Lidl which can be reached catching the 88 bus outside the gate. The 906 bus can take you to Valle Aurelia where you can catch the metro to Rome Central. Overall, we all had a fantastic time and loved every minute of it. A fantastic host of a lovely villa.

Perfection. Absolutely loved it. It had everything we needed. Comfortable, clean and safe. A really peaceful sanctuary after the hectic feeling of the city centre. But so centrally located. We cycled to the centre on bikes we hired from a bike shop about 5 mins walk away. It took about 25 mins to cycle to the centre. We also got taxis a couple of times for convenience and it was a 10 min drive to the centre/termini station, cost 10-20 euros. The swimming pool and beautiful garden were a godsend in the heat. Ale and Roby were welcoming, kind and helpful, such lovely people. The friendly family cats were the icing on the cake! Highly recommended - we were sad to leave! Thank you both for sharing your lovely villa!

The space is located in a basement, but it has been beautifully decorated and feels very welcoming. The rooms are comfortable, and while the kitchen and social area are on the smaller side, they were perfect for our needs. We had a wonderful time, and my kids especially loved the small pool!”

Secret garden in the middle of nowhere! 😀 - 30 min from airpor - check in perfect - 1h till Colloseum - if you go by public transport - bus - few nice family restaurant near by and food stores. Aperol Spritz - 5 euro , espresso 1.10 euro - paradise - house was really nice - garden- amazing - furniture and cutlery - tired - need some updates - it would be great, if there were any toys for kids , at least a ⚽️ - pool season starts only from June, that was really sad, because weather was perfect for Latvians + 24. But our kids and us we felt there like at home, in the end of the day we were happy to come back and enjoy the secret garden and Italian hospitality! Thank you!
