I often travel and usually book apartments through Airbnb. Most of the time it’s just fine. But this time in Rome, staying at Franco’s apartment — it was much more than just fine. It was absolutely wonderful! The apartment is very comfortable, and it’s simply a pleasure to be in. The bed is excellent, and the location couldn’t be better — a quiet street, yet only a 10-minute walk from the Vatican. Franco has thought of absolutely everything in the apartment. It’s spotless, well-equipped, and has a lovely atmosphere. And Franco himself is the perfect host — warm, patient, and welcoming. He even met us late at night and explained everything clearly. Nearby, there’s a fantastic local market with fresh produce — fruits, vegetables, cheese, bread — everything you might need. It’s a real pleasure to shop there. There are also many trattorias and restaurants within walking distance — not touristy ones, but the kind locals go to. Public transport is also very convenient — both metro and bus

This was one of the best Air BnBs we have stayed in. Light and airy, spacious, super clean, and the building had great character. We were able to walk to the Collesseum and there was a metro just around the corner. Andrea was super friendly, responsive and made some great dining recommendations (we tried several of them - Trattoria Monti was a stand out!). There is a small toaster oven which was good for reheating leftover pizza and foccacia. Note there is no microwave. Washer/dryer was great for doing our clothes before moving to our next destination. Highly recommended- thank you Andrea and Luciana.

Mattia is and was an excellent host with a beautiful home to reflect it. He was super responsive, proactive with addressing any of our needs and the place was spotless! Super cozy and in a great location. We stayed here one night before heading home and were so grateful for the pleasant experience and atmosphere Mattia has created. Would absolutely recommend this place to everyone considering staying here!

We stayed 2 nights in Beatrice's apartment and we had a great time, quiet and convenient area for getting around both on foot and by subway. Apartment large enough for us, who are 5, and comfortable. When we return to Rome it will be our first choice.

This was an OUTSTANDING stay, and I cannot wait to come back!!! After staying here, I will never stay in a different area when returning. The apartment was absolutely pristine. Very luxurious and quiet, yet right in the center of the Roma experience!!! I definitely hope to return! I couldn’t have loved it more. We were also fortunate enough to get early check-in! Absolutely loved the location, close enough to walk everywhere but out of the main hustle & bustle. Restaurants & best little Jewish bakery on the street right outside. Having own kitchen meant we didn’t have to eat out every night which was good as we were exhausted after some big days exploring. David was a great communicator and also provided information for restaurants when asked & checked in a few times to make sure everything was ok. Would definitely stay here again. We had a great time at Mario's apartment. It was in line with the photos and listing and ideally located for visiting Rome. Mario is a friendly, considerate and very responsive host. We recommend her apartment for your next vacation in Rome.

Loved the apartment and the location. It’s right next to the keyhole which was fun to see right when we arrived. Easy enough to get around and very clean. Paolo was so kind and greeted us upon arrival. We didn’t want to leave!

Elvin d'Avantage, he took wonderful care of us, he made it much easier for us on many things, and was always available if needed. It felt like home as soon as we arrived. The accommodation is charming, clean and perfectly as described. A really nice meeting and a property we'll treasure! We'll definitely be back and this time with our daughter! We recommend it without hesitation!

The accommodation was pleasant in a quiet part of the city (although planes flew over us, it was quiet inside and we slept well), the surroundings are poorly maintained and the houses are old, but otherwise everything is fine, we moved without worries even in the evening, about 10 minutes walk to the subway, near the super store Sacoph. The kitchen was well equipped, the bathroom was also equipped, the bed and pillows were comfortable. Daniela is very nice, she gave recommendations for restaurants, taxi and communicated great. We also found another restaurant nearby and we can only recommend Osteria Amici Divini. Rome is worth a visit, Daniela, thank you 🧡

Sara was the best host! Very responsive and helpful. The place was clean and had everything we needed. The only thing that was tricky was parking, it is all street parking but really hard to find a spot but that is just how Rome is. Sara provided helpful streets to look for free parking. Would highly recommended staying here. Thank you Sara for letting us stay!

Stylish and cozy home. ACs in every room. Skylights also makes this place perfect. Perfect neighbourhood to walk around and take in the beauty that Rome has to offer. Many restaurants to choose from. Flaviana was amazing to communicate for our arrival and make suggestions on her personal favorite list of cafés, groceries and restaurants.

Really nice garden flat in a great location. Walkable to the local area with loads of restaurants and bars etc but also only 30mins walk to some of the main sights of Rome. Tram stop nearby too which was really useful.

Great location! Close to the colosseum and metro for going to Vatican museums. Looks like the pictures and we appreciated the biscuits/tea. This home has a lot of character and a quirky vibe which we liked! Also the cat outside was super cute! 😊

Claudia was extremely responsive and accommodating. Our flight came in late in the evening and she adjusted to greet us personally and walk us through the home. She set up an extra cot for us in advance. Everything was straightforward and easy. She answered any question we had about the accommodations and the city very quickly. The location was perfect. We were celebrating the Jubilee and the Vatican was just a 5 minute walk away. Other locations were easily accessible via bus or metro. Just watch out for the pickpockets, we were almost pickpocketed three times in just the 4 days we were there! I guess we really looked like tourists. :-)

Giordano was a great host. Accommodation was clean, tidy and exactly as described. Easy to find all of the tourist attractions with lots of bars and restaurants nearby. We had a lovely stay!

We had a wonderful stay in Nicola’s AirBnB in Rome! The apartment is awesome! The pictures can’t tell how just how beautiful the apartment is - just stay here and experience it! What we enjoyed the most is the location - you will experience living in an everyday neighborhood but also be close to everything you want to see. Something special for us was being greeted by James - Nicola’s father - who couldn’t be more cordial/helpful and kind! James was very responsive to our questions during our stay - although there were very few.

Italia’s place was perfect!!! She sent a link to video directions on checking in which made the entire process easy. Once inside the apartment there was everything you could need. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms made traveling with a group of 3 very comfortable. There was a great coffee shop across the street and we could walk to Vatican City, a metro station and a taxi stand which made seeing the sights of Rome so easy!!! Italia, herself, was truly a super host. She replied to any questions within minutes and even helped us arrange transportation from her place to the cruise port. We were there from Monday to Friday but would have loved to stay longer. All and all an excellent ecperience!!

This place is a steal! The location of the apartment is beautiful - great neighborhood and just a few minutes away from the Vatican city's St Peter's Square and Castel Sant'Angelo on foot. The apartment is more than spacious for two people and very comfortable. Agata has been a great host, very friendly and responsive. We loved our stay and would plan another vacation at this property in a heartbeat!

This location is all about the porches. We loved sitting outside and watching the Steps.
