If the location fits the schedule, I would highly recommend it. It takes about 15-20 minutes on foot to the Vatican tour site. The advantage is that it is very clean. In fact, if you go to a European Airbnb, even if it is clean, there are parts that are different from Korean culture, so you often experience private inconvenience in living (such as no towel rack, only a sunflower shower, and no shelf to put shampoo or body wash on). But this place was the most perfect of the 4 Airbnbs I've stayed in Italy. I really recommend it if the location fits your schedule. The disadvantage is that it's on the 4th floor of a building without an elevator (from the ground floor, so it's actually the 5th floor). Fortunately, the stairs aren't steep or sagging, so you just need to exert a little effort.

Absolutely beautiful place! I traveled with my partner and we loved it. We had 3 full days in Rome and went to the Vatican, the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, the Piazza Navona, the Colosseum, restaurants, gelato, etc. It was outside of the main part of the city… so you have to metro or take the bus to get to the “big” sites. But we loved how peaceful it was and how we could be in a more authentic area of Italian life. Great restaurants and coffee shops and gelato right there on the corner of the street! Great vibe in the apartment, with air conditioning and ability to do laundry.

Prati di Borgo - Elegant and bright in Vatican

Alberto is a phenomenal host! He is warm, personable, and very reliable. Prior to arrival, he answered all of our questions, even offering recommendations for restaurants and gelaterias (of course!) to help us plan our stay in Rome, and was able to accommodate us with an early check-in. He welcomed my family personally and gave us a tour of his home which was pristine, charming, yet modern. The location was perfect, within walkable distances to the Vatican and the center of Rome, as well as public transportation. We had a problem with hot water due to the issues with construction for the Jubilee which affected our area and Alberto quickly replaced the boiler the following day. He is quick to respond and is always available via text. He even helped us make reservations at a nearby restaurant when we couldn’t book a table online and also arranged transportation to the airport on our last day. I cannot recommend a better place to make your home base while you are in Rome! We will be back!

Its hard to say if the Loft was better than Giuseppe's communication as they were both so fantastic. The Loft was amazing, spacious, amazing decor, great location and so clean. It was exactly what we wanted, much bigger than having a hotel room. the fridge was a bonus and a lounge area to relax in after a busy day. Beautiful building. Giuseppe was just a amazing, nothing was too much trouble. His directions for access were the best I have ever seen (once he directed me to it on the site - my fault). he checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed and answered any questions we might have. The location was great for us as our main reason for the visit was the tennis and on the night of the football we managed to walk back to the Loft as the traffic was very busy. Would love to visit again and highly recommend. Thank you for a great visit.
