New apartment near Sagrada Familia

HUTB 009406 Hi everyone! We are renting our nice and modern and centric apartment. It's sunny and quiet; perfect for couple and professionals! It's only 2 min walking to the metro station el Clot (line red and purple: 10 min for Catalunya square and only 4 min for la Sagrada Familia). In the same station is available the Renfe train to and from the airport of Bcn (30 min) The building (only five years old) is located in a nice zone, well connected with the touristic parts of the city and not so crowded. You can walk to the beaches of Poble Nou in about 20 minutes, and you are very close to the tower Agbar, the National theatre, the Encants market and every kind of store and restaurants. We enjoyed the flat very much. It is in a nice area and was suitably spacious. There were plenty of small shops nearby and a larger excellent supermarket also within 5-10 minutes walk. We stayed in March so it was a bit chilly and we used the heaters. The location was excellent - a short walk from the metro station and also the harbour/beach area. The flat was well equipped with everything we needed including a lovely collection of buckets and spades for children to take to the beach. Most things seemed new in the kitchen. There was a nice collection of toys for young children that our son enjoyed. The owner was very friendly and helpful. We had no issues at all. The only slightly picky thing to say was that there were hardly any kitchen essentials for cooking other than oil and salt. There were no pods for the coffee machine either but we bought our own. Overall we would strongly recommend.

I stayed with my family. Olga's apartment was really clean, equipped with all comforts. Olga was always available, even giving us tips on how to get around! The neighborhood was really very typical, with an authentic and genuine atmosphere. Walking through the streets allowed us to immerse ourselves in local life, away from the most crowded tourist circuits, this made the stay even more special. A perfect area for those who want to experience the city like a real local!

Florenza was great to work with. She communicated well and helpful with check in when our flight was significantly delayed and also helped with setting up transportation to and from the airport. Location is very central to most all attractions and we found it very easy to navigate within the neighborhood. It is a tad loud due to it being on the Main Street but we knew that going in to the reservation, just something to consider if that is a concern for you. You do share a hallway with her other Airbnb apartment so you can hear quite a bit (we dealt with some very loud neighbors) but she was extremely helpful and prompt in addressing that noise problem with the other tenants. You can also hear the lift so just something to keep in mind. The place was as pictured in the listing. Clean, well stocked, and a decent size overall. Showers are very small which we expected but still found challenging. It could use a paint uplift on the walls but it was very nice either way. Great place to stay!

We loved our stay here! The apartment is in a fantastic location, close enough to walk to many places (Las Ramblas and the Mercat de la Boqueria, the Gothic Quarter, Universitat, Placa Catalunya and several Gaudi houses, to name but a few) and very convenient for the bus, metro and airport transfer buses. The outside space was perfect for relaxing in the sunshine with great views over the city and up to Montjuic, with sun from the morning through to the early evening. Inside was perfectly clean and had everything we needed for a long weekend break for five people. Oswald was the perfect host with great communication before our trip and on our arrival and departure days. He met us at the apartment on arrival to let us in and check everything was OK.

We felt right at home and with a fantastic bed. Very spacious apartment with everything you need to spend a few days and discover the city. The bed linens and towels were very good quality and had a pleasant feeling of cleanliness. Communication with David was excellent and he adapted to our needs without any problems. I would definitely go back to Barcelona to David's house

We were travelling with 3 children and Barbara's place was more than perfect as I could imagine! Barbara welcomed us personally, gave us useful instructions how to approach the place, prepared with fresh fruits for us and provided lots of useful tips regarding sightseeing and public transportation. The flat was sparkling clean and tidy, even more spatious than it seems on the photos. The home is perfectly equipped with everything needed, even a a large variety of quality toys for the kids. The area is nice and quiet, plenty of playgrounds nearby and a really authentic market just around the corner. :) On top of that, Sagrada Familia is just a fifteen minutes walk away. I highly recommend Barbara's place!
