Stylish Apt in the Heart of the City

Florenza was great to work with. She communicated well and helpful with check in when our flight was significantly delayed and also helped with setting up transportation to and from the airport. Location is very central to most all attractions and we found it very easy to navigate within the neighborhood. It is a tad loud due to it being on the Main Street but we knew that going in to the reservation, just something to consider if that is a concern for you. You do share a hallway with her other Airbnb apartment so you can hear quite a bit (we dealt with some very loud neighbors) but she was extremely helpful and prompt in addressing that noise problem with the other tenants. You can also hear the lift so just something to keep in mind. The place was as pictured in the listing. Clean, well stocked, and a decent size overall. Showers are very small which we expected but still found challenging. It could use a paint uplift on the walls but it was very nice either way. Great place to stay!

For a stay in central Barcelona the apartment was ideal. An interesting building with nice features. Very close to the metro. Lovely side roads nearby full of restaurants etc. Although on a busy main road the double glazing cut out all traffic noise. Would recommend for a short stay in this interesting city.

After staying a few days in the center of Barcelona, Silvia's place was a welcomed calm retreat on right on the beach. Silvia's communication, check in instructions and personalized touches around the apartment did not go unnoticed. Her place is impeccably well kept and quite honestly, the photos do not do it justice. The views to the beach and the walkability of the neighborhood are unmatched and I'd highly recommend this listing to anyone looking for a beachfront stay just outside of the city. Having arrived slightly earlier than planned, my mom had the chance to meet and speak with Silvia and go to know her briefly before she provided endless amounts of honest recommendations of her local favorite spots. Silvia's place didn't feel like the typical big business run property lacking those special personal touches and it was quite refreshing to see.

I went with my wife for the first time to Barcelona and Mik welcomed us kindly, she was always very willing to help us in whatever was necessary. We were very happy with him. It gave us a lot of recommendations about bars, restaurants, etc. if we had any questions, always answered us very punctually. She welcomed us with a detail like a bottle of gift wine and some cookies. The place is very quiet, safe, very tidy, spacious and clean just as seen in the photos. Very easy access to the metro, tram (few stations have the Sagrada Familia) and the diagonal shopping of the sea (you can walk this 3/4 blocks away) also have Mercadona nearby and other supermarkets. She is a person who gives you confidence, we would definitely come back. Thank you Mik for making us feel very comfortable. Greetings from Buenos Aires, Argentina. Gabriela and Gustavo.

Great and clean apartment! Everything you need. There were three couples and one toddler. We received a warm welcome at check-in. Nearby there are many restaurants, cafes, the beach and the metro station, all within walking distance. It was totally quiet at night.

Barbara’s house is located in prime location if you want to do a short Barcelona site seeing. We had a great time at her apartment, very walkable to restaurants & main attractions. This is an excellent apartment. There is a Lidl nearby, the transport links are good, the neighbours are quiet. But what makes this place really excellent is the attention to detail, as the host has really thought about the guest's experience and provided so much and with so much care. Pillows of different levels of firmness, every kitchen item you might need, coffee pods, lactose free milk.... the list goes on. It really makes other AirBnBs look poor in comparison. I don't hesitate to recommend this apartment. 🙂

We loved the apartment. Perfect layout for my boys of 20 and 14 and me as we each needed our own bedrooms. It was very nice & stylishly decorated & furnished. In a fantastic location also, with everything we needed only minutes away or less. It was also absolutely spotlessly clean with very comfortable beds and good quality bedding and linens. Located in the Gothic quarter, it was an excellent spot. Easy to walk around. Many wine and tapas places nearby. Apartment had plenty of space. Note, as with most spots in the heart of Barcelona, this location is on a narrow yet somewhat busy street, so there is unavoidable street noise, though with windows closed, it isn't too bad at night.

The place was magnificent, it was exactly what we were looking for. We wanted an experience away from the tourist areas of Barcelona. We wanted to experience what day to day life was like in Spain and we got it. Nice quiet neighborhood, 30 dollars Uber ride from the center of the city. Easy for public transportation too, with a bus stop right across the street. This place is awesome, clean, well prepared, nicely stocked, the coffee was great. Alberto is an amazing host, he gave us a run around of the floor, and recommended a few places around the area to visit. There are great small restaurants around, a pharmacy and several local grocery stores, all within walking distance. And the views from the back balcony were incredible. Highly recommend this place to anyone. It is worth every penny! We will be using this place again if it is available in the future.
