House vacation rentals in Paquera

Hands down, this was the best AirBnB experience I have had to date. The property is exactly as advertised, the location is safe, secluded, and serene (especially during rainy season). Andi and his wife are incredibly helpful and gracious hosts. We communicated daily about best times for the cleaning/maintenance crew to perform their duties around my fluid and unpredictable schedule. They assisted with my transportation to and from the local airport, arranged my ATV rental for the week, arranged both an in-home massage therapist and an in-home chef, provided numerous specialized individual recommendations for restaurants, hikes, excursions, etc. I will absolutely be returning to The Green House in the future. This is an absolute gem!

The sunsets alone were worth every penny!! We raced back to the house every night just to watch the colors change. The house itself is quaint, clean, organized and quite perfect! It’s small but they have what is needed to hang your clothes as there is not a lot of room to leave open luggage. Our family ran and played on the quiet beach. I think we saw 5 people total.. great hard packed sand for morning and evening walks. There was a spot that was very dirty (glass, plastic, etc) from high tide that you would want to wear shoes to walk through. Giovanni was thorough in communications and quick to respond! His directions were very much appreciated. We knew there weren’t a ton of amenities nearby. But it’s no joke, when you leave the house pack what you need as it’s not near activities and has very limited eating. Not an issue for most - just a heads up!

We had an amazing time staying here. It’s just the right amount of remote, super peaceful and surrounded by nature, but still close to everything you want to do. Honestly, it was more than we could’ve wished for. The place itself is beautiful, with jungle all around, constant sounds of birds and animals, and an incredible view. Will was an awesome host. Being a local, he gave us the best tips – where to surf, great places to eat, and even where to get the freshest fish (or catch it yourself!). As others have said, you’ll definitely need a quad or a car to get there because the road is bumpy. But honestly, that just added to the fun and you should get one anyway for the best CR experience. When we visit Santa Teresa again we would definitely stay here again. Totally recommend it to anyone!

Un alojamiento muy bonito, con todo lo necesario para pasar un tiempo agradable en familia, en una zona tranquila, rodeada de naturaleza. Es tal cual se describe en las fotografías. Cerca hay un supermercado con cosas básicas. La comunicación con Blake, es buena, contesta rápido a tus dudas.

We stayed here for a part of our honeymoon and we loved it. Both hosts were very responsive and helped us with booking our surfing class, they also sent us a bunch of restaurants and activity recommendations upon arrival. The view is stunning and we had our own private pool. Walking up and down the mountain is steep but great exercise. The rain shower is also amazing with a view of the beach. Would definitely recommend this place and we would love to come back. Pura Vida 💛

We were very happy with our stay here! Galit and Dan were amazing hosts, responsive to any questions we had and provided great suggestions for restaurants and things to do in the area. This is a beautiful place to spend your time in Costa Rica, and it is in a great location to explore Montezuma and other areas throughout the peninsula. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend booking here.

Fue una estadía fenomenal! La vista, la propiedad, la limpieza del lugar, todo estuvo excelente. La ubicación es muy buena y la atención de Don Carlos y Lucía fueron excelentes. Solamente, les dejo la nota que no deberían de prometer que la estancia será exclusiva por cabaña si no lo cumplen, porque siempre hubo personas en la otra cabaña y la piscina nunca fue exclusiva.

This was my second stay at L Villa. Everything was perfect again. Clean, quality, and luxurious. So peaceful here, privately perched in the jungle. The professional team of hosts for this property are top-notch.

Una experiencia única, un lugar maravilloso con vistas 360 grados. Desde que te recoge don Beto y Thomas en Punta Cuchillo hasta que te dejan de regreso an la playa, los colores del atardecer desde la isla son magestuosos. Caminando por la isla puedes llegar a playa Langosta una playa preciosa casi solo para los huéspedes. Las personas que viven en el lugar súper amables. Don Beto y su familia hacen que te sientas como en casa, la comida frente al golfo enl restaurante de la familia de don Beto delicioso. Recomiendo en tour de bioluminocencia realmente vale la pena cada minuto en la isla. limpieza impecable y el lugar, la cocina y la casa en general muy bien equipado, la casa cuenta con aire acondicionado y agua caliente. Ideal para familias, sin duda queremos regresar.

Wir waren zu sechst im Haus von Felicitas und hatten eine wunderbare Zeit. Der Pool ist fantastisch und wurde besonders von unseren Kindern geliebt. Das Haus ist das letzte Haus vor dem Eingang zum Nationalpark. Wir haben vom Garten aus viele Tiere gesehen - darunter rote Aras, Brüllaffen, Skorpione, und die Kröten im Teich. Auf den Terrassen konnten wir sehr gut essen und abends sitzen. Ein Auto ist empfehlenswert, da wir dort keine Busse gesehen haben.

Our family of five (with three kids under four) had the most incredible month at this Airbnb! The location was perfect, with a breathtakingly gorgeous beach just steps away. We felt completely safe the entire time, which was so important with little ones. The house itself was comfortable and well-maintained, but what truly made our stay exceptional was the wonderful staff. Maureen, the housekeeper, was incredibly helpful and kind, making everything seamless for us. And we can’t recommend Domingo the cook enough—her dinners were a highlight of our trip! We used her services every night, and every meal was absolutely delicious. If you're looking for a stress-free, beautiful getaway with top-notch hospitality, this is the place to be! We can’t wait to return!

This home had beautiful views, a wonderful staff, and was a superb find for our family’s Christmas vacation. Santa Teresa is amazing and we had some of the best food on vacation ever! Our host , Brano was very responsive and our local helpers were amazing. There is a housekeeping staff on site, but they respect your privacy and keep watch over the property. They brought us extra towels when needed and were overall extremely respectful and helpful. For those traveling to this location, I strongly recommend either a car or ATVs as the home is located up a steep driveway. It is walkable (and there are 150 stairs to use instead) but to do this on a daily basis, you would have to be pretty fit and young. In addition, there are stairs from the driveway to get down to the house and these would not be appropriate for anyone with balance or stability issues. They were fine for us at 50 years old, but should be a consideration for anyone with walking or stability issues. We had a great time!

Absolutely perfect for our girls’ trip! Villa Koa was everything we hoped for and more. The house is spacious, beautifully laid out, and the beds were super comfy. The backyard and views were absolutely stunning—perfect for relaxing and catching up. Just a heads-up: the villa is nestled in the mountains/jungle, so bugs are part of the experience—but nothing unexpected for the setting and totally manageable. You’ll definitely need a 4x4 with high clearance (we had a Suzuki Jimny and it handled the road great). The house is not walkable to town or restaurants, so having a car is a must. Special shoutout to Sophie, the concierge—she was amazing! She gave us fantastic local recommendations and helped plan some great outings. We had a brief issue with the hot water, but concierge responded immediately and maintenance got it sorted right away. Already planning our return next year—can’t wait!

We really enjoyed our stay at Clara’s place. The location was excellent - it felt very private, nestled in the jungle, but also a short drive to the main strip and beaches. Despite the bathroom being open air, we saw almost no bugs and none in the downstairs unit (a big positive for my fearful girlfriend). The place itself was charming and tastefully designed. Clara was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. We would happily stay here again!

La casa de Cindy y Andrew es muy bonita, funcional y la tienen en excelente estado de conservación y limpieza. Tuvimos días geniales ahí, sin duda regresaremos. El lugar es estupendo, todo muy bien. Calificación 100 ! Verdaderamente es una gran opción.

Pictures do not do justice to the view from this property ! Host was amazing , recommend renting ATVs , host arranged for them to be delivered for us, we loved riding them into town , to the beaches and visited Montezuma and the tide pools. We look forward to renting this property again on our next visit to the area !
